Dozens of community and church members came together on Sunday, September 19, to enjoy fellowship at a Community Picnic hosted in the garden of the Nederland Community Presbyterian Church.
Mark Stringfellow manned the grill with help from Jeff Yansura, serving up hamburgers and hot dogs for all. Kids had a great time with bubbles, hula hoops, sidewalk chalk art and an old-fashioned cake walk. With the Heritage Days event nearby at the Mining Museum, several visitors made stops at both events, making for a great family-fun day in Nederland.
