Memorial Day is a day of remembrance of the brave men and women who have fought for their country. On Monday, May 30, 2022, it was just that.
Scott Harrison (photo, left) spoke of the meaning of the carousel Remembrance Day. Then Brad Goode, a professor at CU Boulder, played Taps. The microphone was passed from person to person who named loved ones and others that have served, many of them who served with the names they spoke.
It is a very emotional tribute to our fallen warriors.
Flower girls handed out flowers to those that spoke (photo, right).
A silent ride wrapped up the then veterans went to the train cars for coffee and conversation.
