Lingering snow flurries fell across the Peak to Peak region, and Coal Creek Canyon was no exception. The trees were frosted, and the chill in the air was a reminder of winter in the mountains. There was excitement coming from inside the tavern.

The front door opened, and inside, the holiday season was in full bloom. Crafters, guests, and staff shared chatter and laughter amidst music and cheers. Booths filled with candles, soaps, pottery, paintings, jewelry, cards, ornaments, scarves, and wellness products gave visitors plenty of reasons to start their holiday shopping.

After shopping, visitors sat at the bar, sharing memories with other canyonites, cheering the season and joy of mountain living with a fresh brew. The tavern’s staff, John, Nev, Allie, and Colin, cared for their guests with food, drinks, and smiles.

The Canyon Tavern’s craft show took place on Black Friday, November 24, 2023, from 12 to 5 p.m. The craft show celebrated the start of the holiday season and the local canyon crafters, offering everyone more reasons to shop locally.

The tavern is not just a pub. It’s a place where friendships blossom, everyone is welcome, and one can feel like they belong. The Canyon Tavern is truly the place to gather in Coal Creek Canyon.
