Dear Editor,
Your resident one time a year fun- time band is making plans to perform during the annual Nederland 4th of July parade. The Barker Dam Brass Band has participated in the Ned parade almost every year over the course of the past three decades.
The cost of gasoline is having a big impact on our out of state members being able to join us in 2022. Consequently we’re looking for help filling out our wind instrument positions. Our music is fairly easy, so why not help us out? Doesn’t matter if it’s been some time since you last played an instrument. Any woodwind or brass instrument players are most welcome.
