Save the date for the grand opening of the Fall 2023 Art at the Center show on Thursday, October 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Nederland Community Center.

In the crisp embrace of October, Nederland becomes a canvas for artistic expression. Join us as we unveil a captivating art exhibit, where the spirit of creativity converges with the scenic beauty of the Rockies.

Featuring the work of 22 talented artists with over 90 pieces of art, this event highlights a fabulous collection of art, including the artwork of four new artists making their debut at the Art at the Center.

A highlight of this Fall reception is a live demonstration by the renowned painter Carol Jenkins. A graduate of the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts, Carol boasts a 30-year career as a professional painter, earning the distinction of “Signature Artist of Oil Painters of America.” Her exquisite works, often inspired by the beauty of mountain landscapes, will be on display. Her paintings are also for sale at the Glass Tipi Gallery in Ward, Colorado.

In addition to the visual feast, attendees can revel in musical entertainment and refreshments in the cafeteria, accompanied by the enchanting tunes of Jim McVey on keyboard. A $10 donation is kindly requested to support the event’s expenses, ensuring the continued success of this artistic celebration.
