As a nephew of Uncle Sam, or a niece of Aunt Samantha, the sign of Cancer is a relative of families everywhere. Cancer is the sign of the mother, the motherland, and mother earth. The fourth of July is the holiday that brings families and the country together.

The holidays that occur throughout the year concur with the astrological signs. We collectively express gratitude for our mothers and the earth we walk upon. And with fireworks, we celebrate our country.

Aries—Romance and fireworks light up the sky for the fiery sign of Aries. The combination of Venus and Jupiter in the heavens illuminate the portion of your star chart that will find you holding hands with someone special while magnificent fireworks explode overhead.

Taurus—Over the past two years, astrological configuration in the heavens have allowed you to develop a precise sense of what you are looking for in partnership. Better boundaries equals better times for you, so go out and celebrate with family and friends over the holidays.

Gemini—Gemini’s mojo is returning just in time for the next big cultural celebration on the fourth of July. You are the one who is active, attractive, and in demand beneath the rockets’ red glare. You are finding that your silver-tongued, famed articulate self is moving back into place.

Cancer—Cancer is the archetypal energy of the divine feminine, of mother earth and motherhood and the motherland. And you know how to celebrate, and how to lead the rest of the signs and the rest of the nation in that celebration. Enjoy the holiday with your nearest and dearest.

Leo—Jupiter, the big lucky planet, not only continues in your sign until mid-August, but is now joined by the other happy planet, Venus, together until the final week in July. This will translate into parties and social events and all-around summer fun in and out of the sun for the lions.

Virgo—A major cycle is finishing for you over the next month. Then you move into a year of rewards and recognition under the guidance of lucky Jupiter. Therefore, go out and celebrate over the fourth, because your future is impressive, and you have already earned that future.

Libra—Your public persona is readying for the public performances that you may be called upon to perform. When the Sun is in Cancer, the focus for Libra is on career and external activities in the world around you. A great public event for this is the celebration of our nation’s birth.

Scorpio—Saturn sneaks back into the sign of Scorpio from mid-June to mid-September, finishing a cycle of nearly three years’ length for you. In October, you begin a new 30-year cycle, so go out and celebrate over the fourth. Then you can return to the task at hand: crafting your future.

Sagittarius—Lucky Jupiter is your ruler and over the big holiday ahead, he is holding hands in the heavens with romantic Venus. For you, this makes the summer a lot of fun. Sports and travel and romance are favored, so pull out your day planner and start scheduling for the months ahead.

Capricorn—Every sign has a partner, and Cancer, the sign that brings the big fourth of July production into effect, is your opposite. The moon children symbolize the mother, and Capricorn the father. Join in with the family and celebrate all of the connections in your life.

Aquarius—The genius sign of Aquarius is able to appreciate the fourth of July with deep understanding of the archetype of the divine feminine, one half of the yin-yang symbol and generator of the creative process of the entire universe. Watch the fireworks with pleasure.

Pisces—The final sign of the heavens, Pisces, intuitively comprehends the power of unity and gratitude that is represented by the celebration of the fourth of July. This is a cultural archetype being manifested by the collective consciousness, replete with all the elements of gratitude.
