Rep. Lauren Boebert, the Republican representative for Colorado’s third congressional district announced last week that she will not seek reelection in that district, but will run in Colorado’s fourth congressional district in 2024.
Boebert barely won her last race against Democrat Adam Frisch. Experts expected her to face a tough battle to win the third district in 2024. She told reporters that in 2024 she will seek office in Colorado’s more conservative fourth district, which encompasses much of Colorado’s eastern plains.
Political analysts opined that Boebert realized she had rubbed many of her third district constituents the wrong way. Boebert gained notoriety last year when a movie theater asked her to leave after she was caught vaping and fondling her date in front of children while watching Beetlejuice.
