On 9/1/21, Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 119 at mile marker 5.7. The driver was issued a summons.

On 9/1/21, Black Hawk police responded to a report of a counterfeit $100 dollar bill received at Mardi Gras Casino. A female party was contacted and she was unaware that the currency was fraudulent. No arrest was made, the counterfeit bill was confiscated and the incident documented.

On 9/1/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino regarding damaged property. A male suspect has been identified.

On 9/1/21, a Black Hawk officer was approached by a cocktail waitress at the Monarch Casino who told me her small purse had been stolen from the main bar while working on 08/28/21. After reviewing surveillance a suspect was identified and issued a Municipal County summons for theft.

On 9/2/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a minor with a fake ID. A male party was contacted and issued a summons for unlawful possession of ID.

On 9/2/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the 100 block of Main Street to assist Black Hawk Fire and Gilpin Ambulance with two parties who had fallen on the sidewalk.

On 9/3/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage on the report of an intoxicated party operating his vehicle. A summons for DUI was issued.

On 9/3/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino, for a theft incident. Suspect was identified but had left the scene. The case remains an open investigation.

On 9/3/21, a Black Hawk officer took a report of damaged property in the Dakota lot located at 245 Main Street.

On 9/3/21, a Black Hawk officer spotted a recklessly driving vehicle at Highway 119 and Main Street. Upon contact the driver was arrested for DUI.

On 9/4/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to a possible protection order violation at the Lodge Casino. A report was taken.

On 9/4/21, Black Hawk police responded to the report of criminal trespass to a vehicle that occurred in the parking structure at the Isle Casino. No suspect(s) could be identified in this case.

On 9/4/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a counterfeit $20 being passed. The party who passed it was contacted and unaware the bill was counterfeit. The bill was seized and a report taken.

On 9/4/21, Black Hawk officers observed a spray painted graffiti marking on the east end of the Monarch Casino building. No suspects were identified at this time and the call was not called in by the casino. Officers chose to make an information report for documentation purposes.

On 9/5/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Z Casino parking lot on the report of a theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle.

On 9/5/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino for abandoned property. Items were collected and a report was taken.

On 9/5/21, a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino garage for stolen property. A report was taken.

On 9/5/21, Black Hawk officers met with a male party who advised he was staying in a hotel room with a female friend who stole his wallet and phone while he was sleeping. The female had multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants and was not on scene. Officers were unable to contact the female or determine she was the one who stole his items. A report was taken.

On 9/6/21, a Black Hawk officer took a non-injury crash report in the parking garage of Monarch Casino.

On 9/7/21, Black Hawk officers responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 119 and Mill Street. The at-fault driver made a left turn from Highway 119 and failed to yield to the victim driver. The victim driver and his passenger received minor injuries from the crash. An accident report and summons was issued to the at fault driver. The victim driver received a summons for expired plates. The vehicles were towed due to damage.

On 9/7/21, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to Miners Mesa Street and Bobtail Road on the report of a male party walking in the construction zone with no shirt on and acting strange. The male was contacted and unable to provide basic information on who he was and where he was. He was rambling, walking in traffic, unable to focus on basic conversations, and unable to formulate thoughts. Medics were contacted and he was placed on an M1 hold and taken to Lutheran Hospital.

On 9/7/21, a Black Hawk officer observed a stolen plate. The plate was seized and booked into evidence.

On 9/7/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Z Stop Casino Gas Station, on a report of a disturbance. The male party was arrested for domestic violence.

On 9/7/21, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to a possible disturbance in progress / assault that was taking place in the Dakota parking lot. Officers were advised that a male in a Cadillac passenger car was observed by Lodge surveillance, striking the female passenger inside of the vehicle. After further investigation, no charges were filed.

On 9/8/21, a S.A.N.E (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) called from UCH (University of Colorado Hospital) in Aurora to report an adult female came into the hospital requesting an exam and the results to be sent to the lab. The female victim advised this occurred in our jurisdiction at the Isle Casino Hotel, unknown time frame or suspect(s), and did not want police contact. The S.A.N.E nurse contacted us because they have a duty to report on this type of crime.

On 9/8/21, Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of found drugs on the casino floor. The suspect was located and issued a summons.

On 9/8/21, Black Hawk officers responded to The Wild Card Casino on a report of found drugs. There are no suspects.

On 9/9/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found drugs. A suspect was identified but left property previous to officers arriving.

On 9/9/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the 100 block of Main Street as a cover officer to Gilpin County Deputies. The deputies issued two summonses and arrested a female for DUI.

On 9/9/21, Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch on a disturbance. A female party was later placed on a M1 hold.

On 9/9/21, Black Hawk police took a report for the theft of a catalytic converter that occurred at the Ameristar Casino. A suspect has not been identified.

On 9/10/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a theft. A female suspect was identified but had already left the property. The investigation is ongoing.

On 9/10/21, Black Hawk police responded to a report of several vandalized vehicles at the Lady Luck Parking Garage. An adult male suspect was contacted and released with pending charges.

On 9/10/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on a report of a delivery driver who backed into the wall causing damage.

On 9/10/21, a Black Hawk officer spotted a suspicious vehicle at the KMM Garage located at 255 Main Street; the vehicle was stolen and a male was arrested.

On 9/11/21, Black Hawk officers responded to Bally’s West on the report of a theft. A female was issued a municipal summons for theft.

On 9/11/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Bally’s North Casino on a report of a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was booked into evidence.

On 9/11/21, a Black Hawk officer took a report of lost property that occurred at the Ameristar Casino.

On 9/12/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage on a hit and run report. Suspect was driving what looked like a dark grey Cadillac CTS, plates unreadable. A case has been opened for this incident.

On 9/12/21, Black Hawk police responded to a report of damage to a vehicle parked at the Isle Casino. No suspect was able to be identified and a report was completed.

On 9/12/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the report of a theft. An arrest was made for controlled substance, theft, and false reporting.

On 9/12/21, Black Hawk officers received a report of theft from motor vehicle at the Isle parking garage. No suspects identified.

On 9/13/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for found property. A report was taken.

On 9/13/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lady Luck parking garage for a vehicle trespass. A report was taken.

On 9/14/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to Crooks parking on a report of a driver who hit the yield sign at Highway 119 and Selak Street. The driver was contacted and issued a summons.

On 9/14/21, a Black Hawk officer completed a phone report of a lost wallet sometime in early September.

On 9/14/21, Black Hawk officers were called to the Lodge Casino related to a suspicious female who had taken a photo in their photo booth showing handwritten notes indicating she was in danger. She left the photos behind in the booth. Officers contacted the female who was sitting on a bench outside the Lodge. She was not in jeopardy but didn’t want to talk to the officers. She left without providing her name to the officers. She said she planned to take a bus back to Denver. Officers determined that there was no crime and concluded the investigation.

On 9/15/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the intersection of Highway 119 and Main Street on a Motor Vehicle Accident. A summons was issued for careless driving.

On 9/15/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino hotel on a report of found drugs. The drugs were booked in for destruction.

On 9/14/21, a Black Hawk officer observed a female slip and fall on the sidewalk immediately in front of the Lady Luck garage exit. The female was transported to the hospital by Gilpin EMS.

On 9/17/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found drugs. A male was issued a summons for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

On 9/17/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle parking garage for a vehicle trespass. Report taken.

On 9/17/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle hotel regarding found drugs. An unknown substance was recovered from the scene and booked in for destruction.

On 9/17/21, a Black Hawk officer took a phone report of a lost wallet; the victim is not sure where he lost his wallet.

On 9/18/21, Black Hawk police responded to a party reporting a possible assault that occurred at the Ameristar Hotel and Casino. A female party was arrested on charges of Harassment and Domestic Violence and she was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 9/18/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to a medical-person in cardiac arrest due to opioids at Ameristar Casino. The party was revived and transported by ambulance.

On 9/18/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to Monarch Casino on a found drugs report. No suspect(s) were on scene. Drugs have been booked into evidence for destruction.

On 9/19/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance between a male and a female. One male was arrested and later released on a municipal summons for damaging private property.

On 9/19/21, a Black Hawk officer recovered a stolen vehicle. An arrest was made.

On 9/20/21, Black Hawk police responded to a report of found property at the Ameristar Casino. A wallet containing several identification cards was located and turned over to the police for further investigation.

On 9/20/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino Parking Garage level 2 on a report of a vehicle trespass.

On 9/20/21, Black Hawk police responded to investigate a report of a stolen license plate that occurred somewhere in the Black Hawk/Central City area. No suspect has been identified. A report was taken.

On 9/20/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a physical disturbance. A female party was arrested for domestic violence harassment and violation of a protection order.

On 9/22/21, a Black Hawk officer completed a phone report of domestic violence that occurred at the Isle Casino. An arrest warrant was issued for the suspect.

On 9/21/21, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino parking garage on a theft from a motor vehicle. A catalytic converter was taken from the vehicle. A report was completed.

On 9/22/21, Black Hawk officers observed a subject walking through the City of Black Hawk that is known to have multiple felony warrants and often flees from the police. After an hour of evasive actions, officers located multiple subjects in room #750 of the Isle Hotel. Subjects were arrested for outstanding warrants.

On 9/22/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a theft of property. A possible male suspect has been identified.

On 9/23/21, Black Hawk officers discovered a stolen license plate attached to a suspicious vehicle parked in the Lady Luck garage. Officers contacted two associated people with the vehicle who were in possession of a controlled substance. Firearms were located in the vehicle during an inventory search. The case remains under investigation.

On 9/23/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle parking garage for an arson incident. A report was taken.

On 9/24/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lady Luck parking garage regarding a theft from a vehicle. There is no suspect information available at this time.

On 9/25/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a physical disturbance. A male party was arrested for 2nd degree assault.

On 9/25/21, Black Hawk police responded to the KMM Parking Garage on a report of a disturbance between a man and a woman. Upon investigation the male party admitted to having thoughts of self-harm. He was placed in protective custody and transported to the hospital for follow-up treatment.

On 9/25/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to a pedestrian versus vehicle accident, in the 100 block of Main Street. The driver was cited on scene and a report was taken.

On 9/26/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar casino on the report of an intoxicated party attempting to drive. A summons was issued for DUI.

On 9/26/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a lost cell phone. Monarch Surveillance was unable to determine when or where the phone was lost.

On 9/26/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar hotel for a suspicious incident. A report was taken.

On 9/25/21, a Black Hawk officer received found property from Mountain Life Park. A report was taken.

On 9/27/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino, 488 Main Street, in reference to a counterfeit $100 bill that was passed at Blackjack table #21 in exchange for chips. The suspect was located and identified.

On 9/27/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino regarding a disturbance between a male and female. One female was arrested on domestic violence related charges and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 9/28/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino to assist the Department of Gaming on the report of a male party with warrants. The male was contacted and arrested on the warrants.

On 9/29/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Sasquatch to assist the Division of Gaming on an arrest. The suspect resisted arrest and was taken into custody after fighting with officers.
