Black Hawk Police Reports, October 2024
On 10/1/24, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino regarding a trespass incident. The suspect was contacted and a report was taken.
On 10/1/24, at approximately 3:40 a.m., officers observed a suspicious vehicle at the far end of Church Street. Officers attempted to locate and contact the vehicle based on suspicious activity. The investigation is ongoing.
On 10/1/24, an officer from the Black Hawk Police Department cleared a license plate, and it returned to be stolen. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver eluded.
On 10/1/24, an officer from the Black Hawk Police Department took a report on two tip jar thefts that occurred at the Horseshoe Casino and the Ameristar Casino with the same suspect. A male party was identified and issued a summons for both thefts.
On 10/1/24, at approximately 11:48 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for obstructing traffic at 7400 Highway 119. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/1/24, at approximately 12:12 p.m., an officer contacted the driver of a REDDI report vehicle reported on Main Street and Highway 119. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/1/24, an officer was issued a cold theft report that occurred at the Monarch Casino garage. No suspect was identified.
On 10/1/24, at approximately 12:55 p.m., officers responded to Bally's East Casino on a report of an attempted theft. A suspect was contacted and arrested on the charges. A report was completed.
On 10/1/24, officers responded to the 200 block of Main Street where the Bally's Casinos were located. The call was regarding a suicidal party. The party was placed into protective custody, transported to the hospital, and a report was taken.
On 10/1/24, an officer responded to the Monarch Casino regarding suspicious activity in the parking garage. The involved party was gone when officers arrived and the case was closed.
On 10/1/24, at approximately 6:53 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a male party trespassing. The suspect was contacted and issued a municipal summons and walked off the property.
On 10/1/24, Black Hawk Police overheard a call for the Department of Gaming over the radio. Officers self-dispatched to assist as Gaming issued a summons. Black Hawk officers stood by as Gaming was in contact with the suspect.
On 10/2/24, the Black Hawk Fire Department discovered an abandoned vehicle near the Black Hawk water treatment Facility. The Black Hawk Police Department requested a tow for the vehicle, which was towed by Dad's Towing Company on 10/31/24.
On 10/2/24, Black Hawk Police Department was dispatched to assist The Colorado Department of Gaming at The Ameristar Casino. Upon arrival, we stood by as Gaming placed a suspect into custody. Gaming placed the suspect under arrest and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 10/2/24, Black Hawk Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Main Street and Gregory Street. The suspect was issued a County summons and released.
On 10/2/24, at approximately 3:09 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a male trespassing. The suspect was issued a municipal summons and released.
On 10/2/24, Black Hawk Police Department was dispatched to a report of a counterfeit bill at The Monarch Casino. Officers confiscated the bill and released the suspect with a verbal warning.
On 10/2/24, at approximately 10:27 a.m., officers responded to the Sasquatch Casino on a report of someone using stolen credit cards at the casino. A suspect was located and arrested. Another party was arrested for an outstanding warrant and both were later booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 10/2/24, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino Hotel on a report of a stolen phone. It was determined the phone was lost property.
On 10/2/24, at approximately 4:14 p.m., officers took a report of a fraud case from The Monarch Casino. This investigation is ongoing.
On 10/2/24, at approximately 10:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to The Monarch Casino on the report of a trespassed individual on the property. The party was arrested on warrants.
On 10/2/24, Black Hawk police officers were dispatched to The Monarch Casino on a report of a theft that had occurred. Officers made contact with the suspect and were able to recover the stolen property. The suspect was given a verbal warning.
On 10/3/24, at approximately 12:07 a.m., officers responded to the Bull Durham Casino on a harassment call. The officer learned the two parties involved are friends and both said they were joking around with each other. The harassment was unfounded.
On 10/3/24, Black Hawk police officers made contact with a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking garage of The Monarch Casino. The vehicle was occupied and the driver was contacted for welfare. No action taken.
On 10/3/24, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a possible fraudulent ID. Officers contacted a female party who was taken into custody on unrelated warrants. During a search incident to arrest, a small amount of narcotics was located.
On 10/4/24, the Black Hawk Police Department received a call of a Trespassed party on property at The Monarch Casino. Officers responded and the subject was issued a Trespass Summons.
On 10/4/24, officers conducted a traffic stop on a driver exiting the wrong way on a one-way street from Selak Street to Highway 119. The driver was contacted, advised of the violation and given a verbal warning.
On 10/4/24, at approximately 40, officers responded to an intoxicated party at 333 Main Street. The party could care for themselves and got a hotel room to stay in.
On 10/4/24, officers responded to The Lodge Casino on the report of a verbal disturbance between two females. One female was arrested for violating two protection orders and transported to the Gilpin Jail.
On 10/4/24, at approximately 9:13 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle with plates expired 2/24 that was located in the 400 block of Gregory Street. The driver was cited.
On 10/4/24, at approximately 11:12 p.m., an officer responded to an abandoned vehicle located in a lane of traffic at Highway 119 and Main Street. The registered owner was contacted and a motorist assist was completed to move the vehicle. A field interview report was completed.
On 10/4/24, at approximately 11:55 p.m., an officer completed a report for damaged property occurring at the 7000 block of Highway 119.
On 10/4/24, officers responded to a disturbance in a hotel room at the Ameristar Casino. The disturbance was verbal only and a male was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
On 10/5/24, at approximately 2:02 a.m., officers were dispatched to The Monarch Casino, located at 488 Main Street, on a report of a physical disturbance between a male and female party. A suspect was arrested and a report was completed.
On 10/5/24, officers responded to The Monarch Casino on the report of a male being headbutted by another male. A suspect was identified and will be issued a summons for assault.
On 10/5/24, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a male leaving a female stranded in Black Hawk and taking all her property. After an investigation, it was determined no crime occurred.
On 10/5/24, officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located in the Z Casino parking lot. A field interview report was completed.

On 10/5/24, at approximately 8:09 p.m., officers observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver stated they were distracted by a GPS system. The driver was given a warning.
On 10/5/24, at approximately 8:31 p.m., officers responded to Chase Street for a family disturbance. A report was taken.
On 10/5/24, at approximately 9:55 p.m., officers contacted a party in the 6300 block of Highway 119 who was involved in a domestic disturbance. The suspect was later located and arrested.
On 10/6/24, at approximately 12:04 a.m., a Black Hawk Police officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a lost wallet. After investigations, police were able to identify the suspect but were unable to locate or contact them.
On 10/6/24, at approximately 9:09 p.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of a theft that had occurred at the Lady Luck Casino. After an investigation, it was determined that the theft was unfounded. A report was completed.
On 10/6/24, at approximately 2:50 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a prohibited U-turn occurring on the 200 block of Main Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/6/24, at approximately 5:35 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a theft. Officers determined that the matter was civil and a report was completed.

On 10/6/24, officers made contact with a suspicious vehicle in the parking garage of the Ameristar Casino. Upon contact, officers discovered that the vehicle was occupied by Ameristar staff who were resting. No further action was taken.
On 10/6/24, officers responded to The Ameristar Casino on a report of a male party acting erratic and attempting to get into vehicles in the parking garage. The male party was cleared and taken by medical personnel on scene.
On 10/6/24, at approximately 9:27 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino to assist the Division of Gaming on a call. The male suspect was arrested by Gaming and transported to the Gilpin County Jail for Gaming by the Black Hawk Police.
On 10/6/24, at approximately 11:48 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a cell phone theft. A suspect has not been identified. A report was completed.
On 10/7/24, at approximately 2:47 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to display headlights occurring on the 100 block of Richman Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/7/24, an officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle displaying mismatched plates. The driver was released on a warning.
On 10/7/24, at approximately 4:44 p.m., an officer responded to the Black Hawk Police Department on a phone report of a lost identification card. The victim stated she lost her identification card on 7/13/24 at 111 Richman Street, the Ameristar Casino.
On 10/8/24, at approximately 1:55 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a physical disturbance. The male party was taken to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 10/8/24, officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the Monarch Casino parking garage. Upon arrival, a male party fled from officers and was later taken into custody on new charges.
On 10/8/24, an officer was assigned a phone report regarding a disturbance on 9/28/24 at the bus stop by Bally's Casino North. A suspect was unable to be identified.
On 10/8/24, an officer from the Black Hawk Police Department responded to Miners Road on a report of a non-injury traffic accident. The driver was on the scene and refused medical attention. The vehicle was towed by Dad's Towing.
On 10/8/24, an adult male tripped and fell on Main Street near the Monarch Casino. The male sustained injuries to his face and right hand but refused medical transport. The male subject believed he tripped over the man-hole cover on Main Street. A report was taken.
On 10/8/24, an officer from the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Sasquatch Casino on a trespassed party on the property. The party was transported to the jail on a warrant and issued a summons for trespassing.
On 10/9/24, officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a welfare check. A party was transported to the hospital and a report was taken.
On 10/9/24, at approximately 11 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino Hotel for a vehicle trespass. The suspect was identified and determined to be in custody on another criminal case from the previous day. An arrest warrant was completed.
On 10/9/24, officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a trespass. A summons was issued and a report was taken.
On 10/9/24, officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino regarding a theft incident. This is an active investigation. No suspect identified at this time.
On 10/9/24, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Parking Garage to assist with a trespass of two individuals. A municipal summons for trespass was issued to the female and both parties left the property without incident.
On 10/9/24, at approximately 12:41 p.m., one of the construction workers at Gregory Plaza found an old wallet. The wallet had a weathered photo of an unknown female and an unreadable piece of paper. The wallet was booked in for safe keeping.
On 10/9/24, at approximately 3:52 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. A counterfeit bill was seized and a female suspect was contacted.
On 10/9/24, at approximately 11:20 a.m., officers received a piece of property that was located in the 221 block of Church Street. The property was booked into evidence for safekeeping.
On 10/10/24, at approximately 3:53 a.m., officers were called to the Monarch Casino on a report of trespassing. A suspect was issued a summons and a report was completed.
On 10/10/24, at approximately 1:54 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a wallet theft. A suspect was later identified. The case was cleared by the arrest.
On 10/10/24, at approximately 5:39 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a fake ID. During the investigation, a person was arrested.
On 10/10/24, at approximately 6:42 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding an unwanted party. A male party was contacted, served a trespass notice, and escorted off the property.
On 10/10/24, an officer completed a report of damage to city property.
On 10/10/24, at approximately 11:26 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a disturbance. Both involved parties were issued a summons for disorderly conduct. A report was completed.
On 10/11/24, at approximately 8:50 p.m., a Monarch Casino manager contacted Black Hawk Police Department to report a possible unlawful sexual contact that occurred on 8/24 at the casino. The case is being investigated for possible charges and/or jurisdiction referral.
On 10/11/24, at approximately 9:28 p.m., officers observed a vehicle in the 5800 block of Highway 119 with no tail lamps on as required. The driver was given a warning.
On 10/11/24, at approximately 7:37 p.m., officers observed a vehicle impeding traffic and failing to maintain a lane in the 6300 block of Highway 119. The driver was given a verbal warning.
On 10/11/24, at approximately 7:52 p.m., officers observed a vehicle with a headlight out and high beams on. Upon stop, the driver did not have a valid driver's license. The driver was issued a citation.
On 10/11/24, at approximately 8:22 p.m., officers took a report of found property at the Ameristar Casino. The property was taken in for safe keeping.
On 10/11/24, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to yield to pedestrians. The driver was given a warning.
On 10/11/24, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to 240 Main Street on the report of a vehicle crash. There were no injuries and the officer took a report.
On 10/11/24, at approximately 11:31 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar located at 111 Richman Street for a medical call. During the call, it was determined a domestic violence crime occurred outside of the jurisdiction, and another Domestic Violence crime occurred in the city limits. A suspect was arrested.
On 10/12/24, officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino for a welfare check for an intoxicated male who urinated on the building. The male was contacted and was uncooperative. He was arrested and transported to the Gilpin Jail on obstructing the police, 3rd-degree assault, and two counts of 2nd-degree assault.
On 10/12/24, at approximately 11:57 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage on level 5 on a report of a vehicle trespass and theft.
On 10/12/24, a female party was called in for a welfare check twice in one day. The female was ultimately taken on a voluntary medical transport to Lutheran Hospital for a medical/psychological evaluation.
On 10/13/24, at approximately 1:12 p.m., Black Hawk police officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a sex assault. Officers later identified a suspect and issued them a ticket.
On 10/13/24, at approximately 12:44 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found narcotics. A suspect has been identified.
On 10/13/24, at approximately 3:59 a.m., an officer responded to Hawk Way in Gilpin County to assist a deputy on the report of a female party who was driving around the neighborhood and pressing on the horn. The officer and deputy were unable to stop the suspect and the suspect drove away.
On 10/13/24, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a male party urinating at the smoking patio. The suspect was issued a summons for public urination.
On 10/13/24, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of found drugs. The suspect was contacted and issued a county summons.
On 10/13/24, an officer from the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a stolen vehicle. The case will remain active for further investigation.
On 10/13/24, an officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle reported in a REDDI. The driver was determined not to be intoxicated and was released on a warning.
On 10/13/23, at approximately 5:44 p.m., an officer initiated a traffic stop for a red light violation in the 100 block of Gregory Street. The suspect was cleared and returned with a felony warrant out of Denver County. The suspect was transported to the Gilpin County Jail, booked in for the warrant, and given a warning for the red violation.
On 10/13/24, the Division of Gaming asked Black Hawk officers to assist with a call at the Monarch Casino. Black Hawk officers stood by as Gaming was in contact with the suspect.
On 10/14/24, at approximately 1:17 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino to assist the Division of Gaming. The suspect was issued four summonses for fraudulent acts and released.
On 10/14/24, officers conducted a traffic stop right outside of the Ameristar parking garage entryway. The reason for the stop was from a previous contact officers had with the parties inside the Ameristar. One of the parties claimed that they had been drinking and officers at the time did not know who was driving the vehicle at the time of the stop. The driver was contacted and released at the scene.
On 10/14/24, officers were dispatched to The Monarch Casino for a medical-related issue. Officers stood by as medical personnel assessed the patient. Officers are still conducting an investigation.
On 10/14/24, officers responded to the Black Hawk Police Department lobby on a report of a theft. Officers gathered information and are currently investigating.
On 10/14/24, at approximately 7:36 p.m., officers responded to 111 Richman Street on a call about a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was not stolen, as the owner had forgotten where he had parked it. It was located on the seventh level of the parking garage.
On 10/14/24, at approximately 8:25 p.m., officers responded to Bally's East Casino for a trespassing male party. The suspect was issued a municipal summons and released.
On 10/15/24, officers were dispatched to the Dakota Lot regarding a disturbance. A report was taken and an arrest was made.
On 10/14/24, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino regarding a trespassed party. A report was taken and a citation was issued.
On 10/15/24, an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a lost phone. No suspect was identified.
On 10/15/24, an officer responded to the Monarch garage to assist with a vehicle lock-out. The male party asking for assistance possessed a felony warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. He was arrested and transported to Gilpin County Jail.
On 10/15/24, at approximately 7:45 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino, on a call about lost property. Ameristar surveillance reviewed the video footage and observed someone actually taking a cell phone. The suspect was contacted and will be issued a summons when she returns the phone.
On 10/16/24, at approximately 12:44 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar to assist the Division of Gaming with a suspect. The suspect was issued a verbal warning and departed the property without incident.
On 10/16/24, officers were dispatched to the Monarch parking garage regarding a welfare check. A party was contacted and transported to the hospital.
On 10/16/24, an officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle displaying expired registration. The driver was released on a warning.
On 10/16/24, an officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle without license plates. The driver was cited and released.
On 10/16/24, at approximately 4:38 p.m., officers observed a pickup truck with its hazard flashers parked in the 400 block of Main Street picking up cones. Officers initiated a traffic stop and the driver stated he had done concrete work for the Monarch Casino and the cones were his.
On 10/16/24, at approximately 8:44 p.m., officers responded to a report of a missing wallet at the Ameristar. The initial information was gathered and a report was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
On 10/16/24, at approximately 10:05 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance. Officers decided both casino patrons were at fault and they were both asked to leave the casino. None of the parties involved wanted to press charges.
On 10/16/24, at approximately 9:54 p.m., officers were at Ameristar and were approached by a subject who reported a trespass from two months prior. A report was taken and investigation is active.
On 10/16/24, an officer responded to the Lodge Casino to cover Gaming on a call.
On 10/17/24, at approximately 2:41 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a stolen phone. Surveillance was reviewed and the phone was not lost or stolen inside of the Ameristar.

On 10/17/24, we responded with medical to the Ameristar Casino on an intoxicated female. The female was contacted and offered a hotel room for the night to sober up.
On 10/17/24, at approximately 1:44 p.m., an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino to assist Gaming officers on an arrest.
On 10/17/24, officers received a report of a suspicious incident that occurred on 9/8/24 at the Horseshoe Casino. A report was taken.
On 10/18/24, at approximately 10 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to display taillights occurring at 6100 Highway 119. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/17/24, at approximately 10:35 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle with an attempt to locate for eluding from another agency. The vehicle was later stopped at the 200 block of Gregory Street and the occupants were identified. The driver and passenger were arrested on outstanding warrants and both received additional summons. A report was completed.
On 10/18/24, the Horseshoe Casino called the Black Hawk Police Department to report that a firearm had been found in a hotel room. The firearm was collected and a report was taken.
On 10/18/24, at approximately 1 p.m., a report was faxed to the police department of possible elder financial abuse. The report had one particular incident where money was withdrawn from an ATM at a casino on 10/17/24 at 5:08 p.m. An investigation revealed that Wells Fargo miss reported the incident and the possible victim resides in Denver. Denver Adult Protective Services was notified and given a copy of the Wells Fargo report.
On 10/18/24, officers received a call from the Monarch Casino located at 488 Main Street in reference to an intoxicated party. The party was located driving their vehicle and was subsequently arrested.
On 10/19/24, at 2:30 a.m., an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino, located at 401 Main Street, on a report of a theft that had previously occurred. A suspect was identified and issued a summons. A report was completed.
On 10/19/24, at approximately 5:40 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to display taillights occurring at 6100 Highway 119. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/19/24, at approximately 5:28 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a fake ID that was confiscated. The ID was seized and a report was taken.
On 10/19/24, at approximately 4:23 p.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino for an ID Check. A male party was contacted and his identity was unable to be verified. The party was asked to leave the property and return with valid identification.
On 10/19/24, at approximately 8:53 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a vehicle and pedestrian accident that had previously occurred in the parking garage. The pedestrian was evaluated by medics for injuries and stated they would handle the incident civilly. A report was completed.
On 10/19/24, at approximately 9:24 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no license plate displayed occurring at Highway 119 and Miners Road. The driver was given a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/19/24, at approximately 9:14 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Saratoga Casino on the report of damaged property. Saratoga employees advised they did not wish to press charges and would handle the damages civilly.
On 10/19/24, at approximately 10:21 p.m., officers received a call of a marijuana pipe found in a hotel room. The pipe was seized and destroyed.
On 10/19/24, at approximately 11:25 p.m., an officer responded to the Saratoga parking garage on a report of a hit and run. A report was completed and an investigation is ongoing.
On 10/20/24, Black Hawk officers were flagged down by a civilian who reported a crashed vehicle on Highway 119. Upon locating the vehicle, Black Hawk officers provided cover for CSP to document the crash.
On 10/20/24, officers observed a vehicle traveling down the roadway that appeared to be lost. Upon contact, the driver of the vehicle was in fact lost and attempting to turn around. Directions were given and a warning for driving behavior was issued.
On 10/20/24, at approximately 6:41 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at Ameristar Casino. A suspect was contacted and arrested for a warrant on scene.
On 10/20/24, officers were dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino on a disturbance involving a Rambling Express driver and a passenger. The investigation is ongoing.
On 10/20/24, at approximately 10 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a theft. The suspect was identified and issued a summons.
On 10/21/24, an officer was assigned a cold harassment case. The reporting party would not provide any personal information.

On 10/22/24, at approximately 2:44 a.m., officers were dispatched to Monarch Casino for a party who was trespassing. The suspect was contacted, given a summons and escorted off property.
On 10/22/24, at approximately 2:50 a.m., officers spoke with a female on the phone who was concerned about her boyfriend's whereabouts. She didn't want to meet with officers or file a police report, she wanted to inquire if he had been arrested or taken to the hospital. She located her boyfriend and notified the Black Hawk Police Department.
On 10/22/24, an officer responded to the Briggs Lot on a motorist who had run out of fuel. The assist was successful and the motorist continued on their way.
On 10/22/24, at approximately 11:28 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the Ameristar parking garage. The individuals were interviewed. No criminal elements were present. They were released with a warning.
On 10/23/24, at approximately 8:03 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of a fictitious temporary registration occurring at Highway 119 and Main Street. The temp tag was seized and the driver was issued a summons. A report was completed.

On 10/25/24, at approximately 7:13 a.m., an officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino on a report of theft of alcohol. It was determined the suspect had a mental disability and the casino did not want to prosecute. The suspect had walked away from family members when the incident occurred. The family members and the suspect were reunited and left the city after the contact.
On 10/25/24, at approximately 6:40 p.m., officers responded to the 6300 block of Highway 119 on the report of a disturbance. The party was arrested.

The missing person was identified as the driver and was found to be in good health and not in any obvious danger. The originating agency that completed the missing person entry was notified. The subject was requested to contact the family member that reported him missing.
On 10/27/24, officers were dispatched to a disturbance outside the Monarch Casino. Investigation revealed the three parties involved were intoxicated and roughhousing. Parties were given a courtesy transport to a Golden train station.

On 10/29/24, at approximately 9:17 p.m., an officer responded to the Horseshoe Hotel to assist the Colorado Division of Gaming contact a suspect. The suspect was contacted and paid restitution to the Division of Gaming.
On 10/29/24, at approximately 9:33 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on a report of an intoxicated party that the Ameristar Casino was looking to evict. The individual was placed into protective custody and assaulted a medic in an ambulance. The suspect was medically cleared and transported to the Gilpin County Jail. A report was completed.

On 10/30/24, at approximately 2:01 a.m., an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a party refusing to leave and would not pay for his meal. Upon arrival, the party did pay for the meal and was escorted off the property. The party was also formally and permanently trespassed from the Monarch property.
On 10/30/24, at approximately 3:43 a.m., a Black Hawk police officer contacted the driver of a REDDI Report vehicle at the Monarch Casino. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.
On 10/30/24, at approximately 8:27 a.m., an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of found narcotics. A suspect was identified, located in a hotel room, and issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance.
