On 3/19/21, Black Hawk Police took a report of a fraud which occurred at 201 Selak Street. 

On 3/19/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a $200 dollar cash theft from the ATM. An investigation was conducted, the money was returned to the rightful owner, and a report was taken. 

On 3/20/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a theft of cash from the 24/7 restaurant. A Municipal Court summons was issued for theft.

On 3/20/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel on the report of a domestic disturbance. One party was arrested for assault DV and violation of a protection order.

On 3/20/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a stolen wallet. Subject was found the next day by casino surveillance. Suspect issued summons and returned the wallet but cash was missing.

On 3/20/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a party trying to get into the casino with someone’s passport.

On 3/20/21, Black Hawk officers took a report of found drugs at 401 Main Street. A report was taken and the narcotics were seized.

On 3/20/21, a party came to the PD to advise he had warrants and asked for our assistance to retrieve his personal bags in the bellhop holding area at the Isle Hotel front desk. After he went to retrieve his items, the bags were missing. It was deemed the party’s girlfriend may have taken the bags through deceit and a report was taken.

On 3/20/21, a Black Hawk officer initiated a traffic stop, a plate was seized and warning issued.

On 3/21/21, Black Hawk officers noticed a suspicious vehicle in the 240 Block of Main Street. An arrest was made.

On 3/21/21, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Mardi Gras Casino on the report of a welfare check. After further investigation, the party was reported stealing a gaming license. She was issued and released on a municipal summons for theft.

On 3/21/21, Black Hawk officers were advised that a U.S Marshal would be coming up to the City of Black Hawk and is requesting assistance with an arrest for a wanted person out of Ohio. Black Hawk officers and U.S Marshals were able to successfully take the wanted person into custody without incident.

On 3/22/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to Gregory and High Street on the report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was also blocking the entrance to the construction site. Attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful, and the vehicle was towed.

On 3/22/21, a Black Hawk officer took a phone report on a missing wallet from the Ameristar Casino. After a review by surveillance, no suspect information was developed.

On 3/23/21, a Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino regarding a disturbance of the Public Peace. The suspect was issued a municipal summons related to the incident.

On 3/23/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of a male party threatening to shoot up the maintenance man. After further investigation the male party was arrested for menacing and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/23/21, Black Hawk officers took a phone report of a stolen vehicle at Ameristar Parking Garage. The investigation is ongoing.

On 3/23/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Z-Casino on the report of a counterfeit one-hundred dollar bill. A report was taken.

On 3/24/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino in regards to an assault that had taken place. Suspect was located and taken into custody for Domestic Violence.

On 3/24/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino in regards to Damaged Property. Black Hawk Municipal Summons #MC10257 was issued for damaged property.

On 3/24/21, Black Hawk officers responded to a disturbance at the Ameristar Casino. After further investigation, a male party complained of a gaming issue and caused a disturbance. The male party was escorted off of property and trespassed. A report was taken.

On 3/24/21, Black Hawk officers took a phone report of suspicious activity which occurred on Saturday the 20th. An investigation is ongoing.

On 3/27/21, Black Hawk Police responded to a report of an intoxicated female party who was causing a disturbance at the Monarch Casino. The party was contacted and referred to medical personnel.

On 3/27/21, Black Hawk Police took a report of an assault in progress. It was determined the assault occurred at 111 Richman Street. An Arrest was made.

On 3/28/21, a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to the area of 240 Main Street on the report of a damaged City sign. A report was taken.

On 3/28/21, Black Hawk Police took a report of lost property from a party that had been at the Monarch Casino.
