On 3/1/19 officers were dispatched to the area in front of the Golden Gates Casino for an in-progress fight. A report was taken.

On 3/1/19 officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of an intoxicated party who spit on security personnel. The suspect was contacted and issued a citation.
On 3/2/19 at approximately 8:45 p.m. officers responded to the 400 Block of Miners Mesa Road on a vehicle accident. A vehicle hit a guard rail due to snowy conditions, and a report was completed.
On 3/2/19 an officer responded to the 200 block of Main Street regarding a hit and run. The suspect vehicle struck a light pole and caused minimal damage. The suspect has not yet been identified.
On 3/3/19 at approximately 12:45 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance. A clearance check of the male was conducted and revealed a protection order. The male was placed in custody and transported to jail.
On 3/3/19 at approximately 3 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino for a theft. Contact was made with the suspect. The suspect was issued a theft summons.
On 3/3/19 officers received a call from 111 Main Street on a report of a guest that broke a front window. The suspect fled the scene and was subsequently contacted and issued a summons for damaging property.
On 3/4/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a male with possible warrants. A male party was taken into custody on two warrants.
On 3/4/19 officers located a stolen license plate in Ameristar Parking Garage. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and subsequently arrested on an active warrant and Possession of a controlled substance.
On 3/4/19 the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office advised the Black Hawk Police Department of a missing or overdue party that was possibly within the city. A report was taken to assist in the investigation.
On 3/4/19 at approximately 3:54 p.m., an officer responded to 125 Gregory Street on a report of damage to property. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 3/5/19 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a theft. A suspect was identified, and the attempt to contact is ongoing.
On 3/5/19 officers responded to 500 Chase Street to collect some found property left by a previous owner. The property was secured in evidence for safe keeping.
On 3/5/19 at approximately 4:27 p.m., officers took a phone report regarding theft of property from 111 Richman Street. A report was completed regarding the incident.
On 3/5/19 an officer responded to the Lodge Casino for a damaged gaming device. A report was taken.
On 3/6/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance. A male party was arrested on harassment and criminal mischief charges.
On 3/7/19 an officer was advised there was a vehicle that was stuck at Crooks Palace. An officer proceeded to the scene, assisted and a report was taken.
On 3/6/19 an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino for a patron refusing to leave. The party was contacted and taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
On 3/6/19 at approximately 7:29 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a fight in-progress. The case is under further investigation.
On 3/7/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an employee being asked to buy drugs. A male party was contacted and arrested on a warrant.

On 3/8/19 at approximately 12:03 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lady Luck Hotel regarding a disturbance. Upon contact, a female was issued a summons for damaged property and a male was transported to jail on a violation of a protection order stipulation.
On 3/9/19 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Sasquatch Casino regarding a theft. The suspect was not on scene and no player information was obtained through the casino.
On 3/9/19 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a hit and run traffic accident. A suspect was identified and issued a summons.
On 3/9/19 an officer was informed of a hit and run accident at the Ameristar Parking structure level 5. Photos were taken and a report was completed.
On 3/9/19 an officer responded to the 400 block of Main Street on the report of a theft, involving a taxi driver and a passenger who had refused to pay for services. The suspect was identified and issued a summons.
On 3/10/19 officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a theft. A report was taken, and the investigation is active.
On 3/10/19 officers responded to a report of stolen cell phone. Investigation revealed the cell phone was actually picked up by a patron and turned in to a casino employee for lost and found.
On 3/10/19 an officer responded to the Sasquatch Casino on the report of a theft. A suspect was identified and booked into the jail on the charges of theft, violation of a protection order and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
On 3/10/19 officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. A suspect has been identified and the bill was collected and booked into evidence.
On 3/10/19 an officer responded to the Lodge Casino for intoxicated parties refusing to leave. Two parties were taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/10/19 officers responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a theft of money. A suspect has been identified and the money was returned. The victim did not want to press charges.
On 3/11/19 officers were contacted at the Isle Casino by a male who stated he had a warrant. The warrant was confirmed, and the male was taken into custody. Public Works turned a Subaru key into the police department. The key was found on the sidewalk in the 200 block of Main Street.
On 3/11/19 officers assisted the Division of Gaming in locating a wanted party in the Lady Luck Casino parking garage. The party was taken into custody.
On 3/11/19 an officer met with a male party who wanted to report an extortion. After reviewing the information, it was not an extortion, but the information was gathered for a report.
On 3/12/19 at approximately 4 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino regarding found drug paraphernalia. A glass pipe was taken and booked for destruction.
On 3/12/19 an officer located a stolen vehicle in the Ameristar Casino parking garage. The vehicle was impounded for safekeeping.
On 3/12/19 at approximately 3:03 p.m., officers responded to 1051 Transportation Avenue on a report of damage to a City of Black Hawk trailer and vehicle. A report was taken regarding the incident.
On 3/13/19 officers did a traffic stop on a vehicle with no headlights. The driver was taken into custody for driving on a revoked HTO.
On 3/13/19 an officer responded to the intersection of Main Street and Highway 119 on the report of a traffic accident resulting in property damage. There is no suspect information.
On 3/13/19 officers took a report of a vehicle stuck on a snowbank at Main Street and Mill Street. The vehicle sustained no damage and a report was taken.
On 3/14/19 officers were dispatched to found drugs at the Ameristar Casino. One person was taken into custody and a report was taken.
On 03/16/19 Officers witnessed a physical disturbance between a male and female at KMM Parking Garage. The male party was taken into custody.
On 3/17/19 officers responded to a REDDI Report called in by a Gilpin County deputy. The vehicle was stopped, and a male party was taken into custody for DUI.
On 3/17/19 officers responded to Lodge Casino on a report of a stolen leather jacket. Suspect(s) were unidentified and no longer on scene.
On 3/17/19 the Black Hawk Police Department stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was issued a summons for driving under the influence and taken to detox.
On 3/17/19 Black Hawk Public Works located a Colorado License Plate on the roadway at Bobtail Road and Miner’s Mesa. The owner was located, and the plate was returned.
On 3/17/19 the Black Hawk Police Department as well as multiple other jurisdictions including Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office, Longmont PD, Boulder PD and Boulder County Sheriff’s Office were notified of a threat to kill Law Enforcement officers observed on a Facebook posting.
On 3/17/19 officers responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on the report of a counterfeit $20 bill. The bill was seized and placed into evidence.
On 3/17/19 officers received a report of a female selling jewelry to customers at Monarch Casino.
On 3/25/19 an officer responded to the Z-Casino regarding the theft of money. Money was not retrieved but a suspect has been identified. This will be an ongoing investigation.
On 3/25/19 officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a male party refusing to leave. A suspect has been identified and was placed into custody. A male party was then transported to Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/26/19 a female party turned herself into the Black Hawk Police Department on three active warrants. She was transported to Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/27/19 at approximately 9:50 a.m., an officer was advised by Ameristar Security that someone had turned in a flashlight taser. The item was taken back to the PD for safe keeping.
On 3/27/19 officers responded to 401 Main Street on a report of a stolen cell phone. Suspect information was obtained from a player’s card and officers are continuing to locate.
On 3/27/19 officers responded to Red Dolly Casino on a report of a disturbance between two employees. A female employee was issued a summons for harassment.
On 3/27/19 officers responded to a traffic accident that occurred in the Monarch Parking Garage.
On 3/27/19 officers responded to 261 Church St on a report of shots fired. On scene, it was discovered that the owner of the residence was using a concrete nail gun to complete work inside his garage. An incident report was completed.
On 3/27/19 officers responded to Ameristar Casino on a report of verbal threats made between three males. The reporting party was involved in a verbal argument with a male he had a previous outstanding civil matter with. During the argument, the reporting party stated that the male threatened to go get a gun. The male suspect was contacted, conflicting stories were told, and no gun was located.
On 3/28/19 an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino parking garage on a call of two suspicious males. Both parties were contacted and said they were looking for a friend’s vehicle. Both parties were arrested, one for a warrant and the other for violation of a protection order. They were both transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/28/19 the Black Hawk Police Department contacted a male party for a welfare check. The party was ok and advised that he had lost his wallet while in Black Hawk. A report was taken.
On 3/28/19 The U.S. Post Office in Black Hawk called the Black Hawk Police Department to report illegal dumping. A suspect has been identified.
On 3/28/19 at approximately 5:03 p.m., officers responded to a report of a rolling disturbance at the Ameristar Casino. Fraudulent checks were seized, and the case is under further investigation.
On 3/28/19 officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. A suspect had been identified and the counterfeit bill was collected.
On 3/29/19 officers responded to Golden Gates Casino on a report of a harassment.Officers met with an employee who wanted documentation regarding the behavior of an employee that works at Lady Luck Casino. The reporting party did not wish to pursue criminal charges at this time, only wanted it documented in case it escalates in the future.
On 3/29/19 Black Hawk officers were contacted while on routine patrol at the Ameristar Casino regarding a domestic disturbance. An arrest was made for domestic violence and the individual was transported to the Gilpin County Detention Facility.
On 3/29/19 an officer received a phone call at the PD regarding a fraud case. The fraudulent activity occurred in several jurisdictions, but the suspects were identified by the Black Hawk Police Department. Charges will be filed.
On 3/29/19 officers responded to 341 High Street regarding a 911 call. Upon arrival, officers investigated the scene and observed damage to a tire. A suspect has been identified and was transported to Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/29/19 at approximately 9:16 p.m., an officer responded to 111 Richman Street on a call of a theft of a cell phone. The male party was arrested for domestic violence and booked into the Gilpin County jail.
On 3/29/19 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of found drugs. The pills were confirmed to be medication.
On 3/30/19 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a stolen cell phone. The cell phone was not retrieved, and the suspect was not positively identified.
On 3/30/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance between two male parties. One male party had been identified while the other male party walked off property. Officers were unable to locate the male party that walked off property. A report was taken.
On 3/30/19 officers responded on a report of a physical fight involving approximately 10 people at the Ameristar Casino. Officers identified the parties involved and no parties wanted to pursue criminal charges.
On 3/31/19 a male party with two active warrants was located at Ameristar Casino. The subject was arrested and transported to Gilpin County Jail.
