On 6/14/21, a Black Hawk officer took a phone report of a vehicle trespass that occurred at the Lady Luck Parking Garage. Several items were removed from the vehicle. Surveillance was reviewed and a suspect was observed committing the crime but the suspect and their vehicle cannot be identified.

On 6/14/21, Black Hawk officers took a report of a stolen Dodge pickup taken from the Lady Luck parking garage. In less than an hour of documenting the vehicle as a reported steal, the vehicle was recovered by Denver Police Department. Suspects were not identified and a report was taken.

After investigation, the dog was found in Denver, picked up and returned to the owners who were staying in Black Hawk. One male was released pending charges for vehicle trespass.

On 6/22/21, Black Hawk officers discovered a suspicious vehicle with fictitious license plates occupied by two females on level 1 of the Lady Luck parking garage. Officers made contact and the female in the driver’s seat had multiple felony warrants. The party was arrested and taken to jail. The vehicle was ultimately towed by the casino and the other female went on her way.

On 6/23/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of an intoxicated party refusing to leave. Upon arrival, the male agreed to leave, and was watched getting into a vehicle and driving across the parking lot. Male was issued a summons for driving under the influence.

On 6/26/21, Black Hawk Officers were called to a suspected DUI driver at the Ameristar parking garage. The reporting party stated the driver hit another vehicle and was attempting to leave and they suspected him as being intoxicated. The driver exited the parking garage and officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Main Street just north of Richman Street after the driver almost struck several pedestrians and then hit a wall. The driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. It was later found he was the same driver that hit a large planter near the Monarch

Casino. The driver was also charged with hit and run. A report was taken.
