On 6/5/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the report of a public urination at 488 Main Street. A warning was given.
On 6/11/20, a Black Hawk officer took the report of damaged property to the city owned electrical transformer boxes located next to city hall. There is no suspect information.
On 6/17/20, a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to 125 Gregory St. Black Hawk on the report of a bus that had hit the railing in front of the Sasquatch Casino.
On 6/17/20, Black Hawk officers responded to 488 Main Street, the Monarch Casino, on a call of a counterfeit $10 bill. The male patrons said they received the $10 bill from a liquor store. There is no further information at this time.
On 6/17/20, a Black Hawk officer initiated a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Z Casino a summons was issued.
On 6/18/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino for a damaged property report.
On 6/18/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a criminal mischief crime spree in the Lady Luck Parking garage, two vehicle windows were broken.
On 6/18/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar Casino parking lot on a report of an intoxicated driver. The officer contacted the vehicle still in the parking space prior to it completely backing up. The driver was contacted and he showed signs of intoxication. The officer told the driver and the other intoxicated occupants that they should not drive. Soon thereafter, the driver and the other occupants returned to their car and started driving out of the Ameristar Casino. The officer observed the vehicle and completed a traffic stop in front of the Isle Casino. The driver was found to be under the influence and his license was revoked for Habitual Traffic Offender. The driver was released pending charges and his vehicle was towed for safekeeping.
On 6/19/20, a Black Hawk officer took the telephone report of a criminal trespass to a motor vehicle which had occurred at the Isle Casino parking garage. There is no suspect information.
On 6/19/20, an Employee of City Hall, saw an older man in a blue Blazer, dump two bags of trash into the trash can outside of the building and has requested for Black Hawk officers to look into it.
On 6/20/20, Black Hawk officers received a call of a REDDI report leaving the parking lot of the Ameristar Casino. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was subsequently arrested for DUI.
On 6/20/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a theft of a cellular phone at the Monarch Casino lobby.
On 6/20/20, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of a possible theft. The incident was found to be a disagreement over a civil matter. A report was taken and the parties were separated.
On 6/20/20, Black Hawk officers responded to Richman St and Main St, Black Hawk on the report of a pedestrian versus vehicle hit and run. Driver located and summons issued.
On 6/20/20, a Black Hawk officer was flagged down by a citizen wishing to report a missing elderly female. The missing female was located at the Saratoga Casino.
On 6/20/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the report of an assault at the Gilpin Casino. A suspect was identified and cited.
On 6/21/20, Black Hawk officers received the report of a possible DUI, an arrest was made for DUI.
On 6/22/20, while conducting an area check at the Gilpin Casino, Black Hawk officers were advised by the Manager on Duty of possible found narcotics. A suspect was located and issued a summons.
On 6/23/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino and Hotel on a report of a domestic disturbance in one of the hotel rooms. Officers made contact with a male and female. The female had obvious injuries to include abrasions on her neck and face. The female denied that the male was involved in causing the injuries. Besides the visible injuries, there was no evidence to show who had caused the injuries to the female. Officers left the hotel and the subjects remained together.
On 6/23/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the 600 block of Dory Hill Road on a report of a vehicle that slide off the road. The driver was later arrested for DUI.
On 6/24/20, Black Hawk officers recovered a vehicle found on Miner’s Mesa Road that had been reported as stolen.
On 6/25/20, a Black Hawk officer took the report of a criminal trespass to motor vehicle which had occurred in the garage at the Isle Casino. There is no suspect information.
On 6/26/20, Black Hawk officers responded to Ameristar Casino located at 111 Richman Street, on the report of found narcotics.
On 6/26/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an intoxicated party who shoved another person. After an investigation a male party was issued a summons for harassment.
On 6/27/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a male party locking himself in an office. The male party was transported to the hospital on a mental health hold.
On 6/27/20, Black Hawk officers contacted an individual who complained of paranoid delusions. The subject was placed into protective custody, evaluated, and agreed to transport to a medical facility for further evaluation.
On 6/28/20, Black Hawk officers observed a suspicious vehicle bearing a fictitious plate. The plate was removed.
On 6/28/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the parking lot of the Z-Casino in reference to a hit and run.
On 6/29/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel, in reference to a disturbance in progress.
On 6/29/20, a Black Hawk officer received a missing person’s report. Investigation into this case is on-going. At approximately 2:50 p.m. the missing party returned home.
On 6/30/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle parking Garage on a report of a vehicle’s window which was broken out.
On 6/30/20, a Black Hawk officer took a phone report for a missing/lost cell phone. The reporting party advised she lost her phone on the gaming floor of the Ameristar Casino and Hotel. The phone was lost between 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Surveillance reviewed the video and a suspect was identified.
