On 2/1/20, Black Hawk police officers responded to the Ameristar Casino parking garage on the report of a Public Indecency. A report was completed on the incident.
On 2/1/20, a Black Hawk officer observed a male party jump out of a slow moving vehicle in the intersection of Black Hawk St and Hwy 119. Investigation revealed the male party was mad at the driver for not stopping at a casino he wanted to go to. No injuries, report taken.
On 2/1/20, Black Hawk officers assisted the Colorado Division of Gaming with identification of a suspect at the Mardi Gras.
On 2/2/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the area of Black Hawk Street and Hwy 119 on a report of an accident between two vehicles. Both vehicles and drivers were stopped along Hwy 119. Both vehicles were turning right (south) at the intersection. Both driver’s gave differing accounts of what occurred. There were no independent witnesses to determine which driver was at fault so no summons was issued.
On 2/2/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance between a male and female. The male party was taken into custody and booked into Gilpin County jail for assault.
On 2/3/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the 400 block of Gregory Street for a property damage accident. Report taken.
On 2/3/20, Black Hawk Police responded to a report of found drugs at the Ameristar Casino. A suspect was identified and arrested on a warrant.
On 2/3/20, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Hotel and Casino on a welfare check of a male. The male had been at the casino for four days, had not taken his medications for a mental health disorder and was tired. After clearing the male through CCIC, he was found to be an endangered missing person out of Denver from an assisted living center. The male was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
On 2/4/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Sasquatch Casino, on the report of a wanted person at that location. The person was located and taken into custody. A report was filed.
On 2/4/20, a party walked up and turned himself in for an outstanding warrant in front of the Saratoga Casino. He was transported to the Gilpin County Jail and booked in on the warrant.
On 2/5/20, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft. A male party was arrested for a warrant, and issued a summons for the theft.
On 2/5/20 Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino parking garage reference a robbery which had just occurred.
On 2/5/20, Officers responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a lost wallet.
On 2/6/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of a fake identification card. The suspect was released pending charges.
On 2/6/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino reference stolen property. A female suspect was issued and released on a summons.
On 2/7/20, two vehicles were involved in a property damage accident on private property. No injuries occurred.
On 2/7/20, officers responded to the 300 Block of Main Street on a report of an accident. The driver was issued a summons for careless driving and released.
On 2/8/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the report of a possible assault at the Lodge Casino. A suspect was identified and cited. A report was completed on the incident.
On 2/8/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the report of a person using a fraudulent ID at the Ameristar Casino. A suspect was identified and arrested. A report has been completed on the incident.
On 2/8/20, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a male party refusing to leave the casino. Upon arrival, the male party was identified and was transported to the hospital due to his intoxication level.
On 2/9/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino Parking Garage on a report of a vehicle trespass.
On 2/9/20, Black Hawk police were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a fight in progress in a hotel room. Officers ended up chasing and fighting with a party who had multiple warrants. The party was apprehended and taken to jail.
On 2/10/20, a Black Hawk officer took a theft report at the Saratoga Casino. A victim had his jacket stolen. Through surveillance video and player’s cards, a male and female suspect were identified. The male suspect had taken the jacket and the female was with the suspect. The female was seen driving and was stopped. The stolen jacket was found in the back seat of her vehicle in plain view. The female denied any involvement with the theft. At about 2:13 a.m., the male suspect returned to the Saratoga Casino. He was contacted and issued a Municipal Summons for the theft.
On 2/11/20, a Black Hawk officer received a phone report for a lost wallet. Report taken.
On 02/12/20, a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop at the Ameristar Casino regarding expired temporary tags. The driver and passenger had a warrant for their arrest. The two male parties were taken to Gilpin County Jail.
On 2/13/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Saratoga Casino, on a report of a trespass. Officers contacted the suspect, issued her a summons and released her.
On 2/14/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of damage to a vehicle.
On 2/14/20, a Black Hawk officer was on foot at the Isle Casino when a trespass suspect was observed by surveillance. The party was apprehended and issued as summons for trespass.
On 2/15/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a disturbance.
On 2/16/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lady Luck parking garage for a vehicle break in. A report was taken.
On 2/16/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on a report of an assault.
On 2/17/20, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Sasquatch Casino. In reference to a theft. A report was taken.
On 2/17/20, an officer responded to the Bull Durham on a report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was seized and booked into evidence.
On 2/18/20, Black Hawk officers made a traffic stop for fictitious plates at 255 Main St. A citation was issued and a report was completed.
On 2/18/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the report of a stolen cell phone at the Isle Casino. A suspect was identified and issued a summons. A report was completed on this incident.
On 2/19/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a lost cell phone.
On 2/20/20, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of damaged property. The suspect was contacted the following day and issued a summons.
On 2/21/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. A report was taken.
On 2/21/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of damage property in the men’s restroom. There is no suspect at this time.
On 2/22/20, a Black Hawk officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle failing to drive in their designated lane. The officer conducted a traffic stop. The officer contacted the suspect. Suspect was cleared through C C IC /NC IC and clearances showed suspect having a full extradition warrant out of Wheat Ridge PD for failure to appear. Suspect was placed into custody and transported to Gilpin County Jail.
On 02/22/20, a Black Hawk officer was conducting a routine patrol of the KMM parking garage. He contacted a party sleeping in a vehicle who had been previously trespassed from the property and issued them a summons.
On 2/22/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of found drugs. A male suspect was taken into custody for possession of narcotics.
On 2/23/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of a physical assault that occurred between a male and female. The female reported being struck in the face by the male in his vehicle as they were driving south on Main Street. The officer had completed a traffic stop on the involved vehicle. The male suspect was detained. After the investigation, the female had injuries that corroborated her events of what occurred. The male suspect was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail on charges of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree Assault.
On 2/24/20, an officer responded to Highway 119 and Clear Creek Street on a report of a traffic accident.
On 2/24/20, two Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino and Hotel on a welfare check. A male and female had locked themselves in a family restroom and were not opening the door for security. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the male. The male opened the door and we found that both the male and female had snorted an illegal substance and had passed out. The female was unresponsive and the paramedics were called. It was unknown how long the male and female had been in the bathroom. Both the male and female were transported to a local hospital.
On 2/26/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a car that was struck by a bullet.
On 2/27/20, officers responded to the Z Casino on a call of a suspicious person.
On 2/28/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino, for damage to a gaming device. Suspect was identified and the report taken.
On 2/28/20, Black Hawk Police Department took a phone report of theft from a vehicle. The victim stated she was parked at 401 Main Street, the Isle Casino parking garage at the time.
On 2/28/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the report of a disturbance at the Isle Casino. A suspect was identified and arrested. A report has been completed on this incident.
On 2/29/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle parking garage level 2 regarding a vehicle break in. After further investigation, there was nothing taken out of the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time and a report was taken.
On 2/29/20, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino in reference to found drug paraphernalia. A report was taken.
On 2/29/20, a male party approached officers outside the Ameristar Casino and advised he wanted to turn himself in on a warrant. Records check of the party verified he was the subject of an extraditable misdemeanor warrant issued by Teller County Sheriff Office for failure to appear on kidnapping charges with a bond of $2,000.00. The male party was taken into custody and booked into Gilpin County Jail.
On 2/29/20, a Black Hawk officer received a phone report regarding a lost cell phone which occurred at the Lodge Casino. The cell phone was never found and a report was taken.
