On 8/1/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to a suspicious person on the roof of the building at 271 Gregory Street. The party was eventually secured and transported to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.
On 8/1/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Saratoga Casino regarding the passing of a counterfeit $100 bill.
On 8/1/20, a Black Hawk officer discovered abandoned items under the bridge on Highway 119 at approximately mile marker 6. Amongst the items, a note was written on the wall of the bridge. A report was taken.
On 8/1/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a female using someone else’s ID. The ID was seized as it belonged to her sister and the suspect stated it was an accident. A report was taken.
On 8/3/20, Black Hawk officers responded to The Lodge Casino, in reference to a subject that damaged an electronic gaming machine.
On 8/3/20, a Black Hawk officer was on patrol when he noticed the Gold Mine Casino’s door was forced open. The building was cleared and no one was found inside the building.
On 8/3/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casinos Fireside Kitchen in regard to three persons who ordered to-go, and took the food without paying.
On 8/5/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a physical disturbance. One female party was arrested for harassment (DV).
On 8/6/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar Casino at a female party who had locked herself in the family bathroom. The party was found to be a victim of harassment. An arrest warrant was issued for the involved suspect.
On 8/6/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel located in reference to a disturbance.
On 8/7/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Z Casino parking lot on the report of a dog left in a vehicle for a prolonged amount of time. Officers entered the vehicle after attempting to find the owner, and seized the dog. The dog was taken to Charlie’s Place for evaluation and safe keeping. The owner was eventually located and issued a summons.
On 8/7/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel in reference to a physical disturbance in a hotel room.
On 8/8/20, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino on the report of a full syringe left behind in one of the hotel rooms. The syringe was taken into custody and booked into evidence for destruction.
On 8/8/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a suspicious activity report which occurred at the Ameristar Hotel.
On 8/8/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel in reference to a disturbance in progress.
On 8/9/20, Black Hawk police took a phone report in reference to a party possibly being drugged at the Ameristar Casino. A report was taken and looked into further.
On 8/9/20, Black Hawk officers were notified of a car break in at the Z Casino parking lot. The suspect was later identified and a report taken.
On 8/10/20, a Black Hawk officer completed a phone report of a stolen credit card.
On 8/11/20, Black Hawk officers responded to Main St. regarding a physical disturbance between a male and female. One male was arrested on domestic violence related charges.
On 8/12/20, Black Hawk officers were advised of a lock which was cut, and someone trespassed.
On 8/12/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the report of a physical disturbance at the intersection of Main Street and Richman Street. An arrest was made.
On 8/13/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a REDDI report on Highway 119 mile marker 5.8, an M1 Hold was placed on an individual.
On 8/14/20, Black Hawk officers took a phone report in reference to lost Apple AirPods at the Ameristar Casino.
On 8/14/20, the Black Hawk Police Department was informed by Clear Creek County Sheriff that a male party has BL active warrant for contempt of court on a domestic violence charge. They transported the male party to Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/15/20, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance between a male and female party. The male party was arrested and taken to Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/15/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a hit and run at Ameristar Casino. A summons was issued.
On 8/16/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a male who presented a fake identification card. The male left the scene prior to officers’ arrival and was not awarded his $1,750 jackpot.
On 8/16/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for a counterfeit bill. Report taken.
On 8/17/20, a Black Hawk officer was flagged down by a subject in reference to their vehicle being broken in while parked in the Isle Casino garage.
On 8/17/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to a theft call at the Lodge Casino gaming floor. The victim’s money was recovered without incident.
On 8/17/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on a report of a hit and run accident. The casino was going to handle the incident civilly and later decided to file a report.
On 8/18/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a single car accident in the 340 block of Main Street. The vehicle had struck a fire hydrant and protective post. The vehicle had faulty tires and the left front tire deflated causing the vehicle to drive off the road and into the fire hydrant. The driver was issued a summons for Unsafe Vehicle due to the poor condition of tires.
On 8/18/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to a hit and run reported at level one of the Lodge Casino parking garage.
On 8/18/20, a Black Hawk officer received a phone report of lost property from the Ameristar Casino.
On 8/19/20, Black Hawk officers took a report of property damage at the Isle Casino.
On 8/20/20, a Black Hawk officer took the report of a hit and run traffic accident in the Ameristar Casino parking garage. There is suspect information.
On 8/21/20, Black Hawk officers responded to suspected drug activity in the Ameristar valet parking area. Three parties were issued summons as a result.
On 8/21/20, Black Hawk officers were requested to the Ameristar Casino to assist CSP with a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was recovered, towed, and the involved parties were handled accordingly.
On 8/21/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a report of a small clear baggie containing what appeared to be Methamphetamine was located in the Ameristar Parking Garage (Level 5) lying on the ground. No suspects were identified.
On 8/21/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lady Luck Parking Garage on the report of a female who was punched. The suspect was never located, and the investigation is ongoing.
On 8/20/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a criminal trespass to motor vehicle. There is suspect information.
On 8/21/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino reference a theft.
On 8/21/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a weapons disturbance in which a subject was said to be wielding a knife and a tomahawk. The subject was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 8/22/20, Black Hawk officers stopped a vehicle for a violation that occurred at Main and Highway 119, a summons was issued.
On 8/22/20, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Z-Casino on the report of a counterfeit $50 dollar bill. The bill was taken and booked into evidence.
On 8/23/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to a domestic disturbance at the Isle Casino. Party taken into custody and summonsed.
On 8/23/20, Black Hawk officer’s seized a fictitious plate off of a vehicle in the Lady Luck Parking Garage.
On 8/24/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the report of a counterfeit $20 bill at the Saratoga Casino.
On 8/25/20, a Black Hawk officer requested a vehicle impound of an abandoned vehicle at the 900th block of Miners Mesa.
On 8/25/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Saratoga Casino in reference to a theft.
On 8/26/20, Black Hawk officers responded to a physical disturbance at the Ameristar Hotel. A male party was arrested for DV assault.
On 8/27/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to a report of damaged property at the Ameristar Casino Garage. The damage was to the rear glass window to a Nissan Rogue that was parked in the garage. Surveillance review is on-going in an attempt to identify a possible suspect.
On 8/27/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a theft. Several items had been stolen to include two credit cards, one of which was later fraudulently used by the suspect. There is suspect information.
On 8/28/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to a call at the Ameristar Hotel of a party having a medical issue.
On 8/29/20, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino on a wallet theft. The suspect was located and the wallet recovered. The suspect was issued a summons.
On 8/30/20, Black Hawk officers were requested to contact a male party with a weapon at the Isle Casino. The weapon was secured without incident.
On 8/30/20, a Black Hawk officer responded to a report of a counterfeit bill, collected at the Isle Casino.
