On 4/1/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of a theft.
On 4/1/21, Black Hawk officers responded to a report from a couple who called regarding parts from their vehicle which had been stolen while parked at the KMM garage on March 31, 2021. A report was taken.
On 4/2/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Crooks Parking Lot for a disturbance issue. A report taken.
On 4/2/21, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Isle Casino for a report of a lost or stolen cell phone. The cell phone was located and returned to the owner after a case report number was issued for the incident.
On 4/3/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of theft. A municipal summons was issued for theft.
On 4/3/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave. The male was issued a summons for violation of a protection order.
On 4/3/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar garage for an intoxicated party attempting to drive. A Gilpin County summons was issued for DUI.
On 4/4/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a wallet theft. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken.
On 4/4/21, a Black Hawk officer was made aware of a Black Chevrolet Tahoe that had been abandoned on property owned by Proximo. It is unknown how the vehicle entered the property or how long it has been there. The vehicle will be towed at a later time by the landowner.
On 4/4/21, damage to Police Vehicle #5 was reported to a Black Hawk sergeant. At this time it is unclear how the damage occurred.
On 4/5/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino for found drugs. A suspect was located and taken into custody.
On 4/5/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Fire Department Admin Offices on a report of a disturbance. Information was gathered for a report.
On 4/5/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of an intoxicated female party refusing to leave the premises. Officers responded and the female had to be escorted out in handcuffs for failing to comply with commands. The female was ultimately released to a sober party and a report was taken.
On 4/6/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino and Hotel Parking Garage on a trespass to a vehicle. Entry was made by the unknown suspect as they pried open the sunroof. Several items were stolen from the interior. No suspects were identified.
On 4/6/21, Black Hawk Police responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a stolen credit card. With the help of Isle surveillance the suspect was identified, located, and issued a citation.
On 4/6/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Parking Garage on the report of vehicle property damage and theft. A report was taken and no suspects were identified.
On 4/6/21, a Black Hawk sergeant received a phone call from a male party stating his brother emailed him asking for help. The email stated he was in a hostage situation in Black Hawk. The male party was later located by the Denver Police Department.
On 4/7/21, a Black Hawk detective responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a hit and run traffic accident. There is no suspect information.
On 4/7/21, Black Hawk officers responded to a report of a theft at the Saratoga Casino. A suspect was identified.
On 4/7/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a theft. A male party was issued a municipal summons.
On 4/8/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a theft of cash. The suspect had left the scene.
On 4/9/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of an intoxicated party refusing to leave the casino floor.
On 4/9/21, Black Hawk officers responded to a vehicle hitting a sprinkler in the Monarch Garage. The female party was released pending charges.
On 4/9/21, Black Hawk officers received a call about a cellular phone theft at the Mardi Gras Casino.
On 4/10/21, Black Hawk officers responded to 111 Merchant Street on the report of a burglary in progress. Officers arrived on scene and found the suspect who was a highly intoxicated male who was lost. A sober party was located and the male party was released to them. A report was taken.
On 4/10/21, a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to the Gilpin Casino on the report of a missing person. An investigation was conducted and the missing person was found.
On 4/11/21, Black Hawk officers responded to Monarch Casino located at 488 Main Street in reference to a harassment. A summons was issued.
On 4/11/21, Black Hawk Police responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found drugs. Officers arrived and located the owner of the purse. She was given a summons for possession of a controlled substance and a report was taken.
On 4/11/21, a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to Lodge Casino on the report of a fake ID. An investigation was conducted and the ID was confiscated.
On 4/11/21, Black Hawk officers took a phone report in regards to a harassment that occurred on 04/10/21 at the Ameristar Casino. Officers responded, arriving at the Ameristar Casino to respond to the disturbance involving a male party pushing a casino employee. One male was arrested, taken to the Black Hawk Police Department for processing and released on a summons.
On 4/12/21, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on the report of a cell phone theft. The suspect was issued a summons and the phone was returned to the victim.
On 4/13/21, A Black Hawk officer called for a motorist assist on the 500 block of Main Street. The vehicle had slid and struck the curb causing damage to the vehicle. An accident report was completed.
On 4/13/21, a Black Hawk sergeant responded to the Gilpin Casino on a harassment/attempted abduction call. Surveillance of the area was reviewed but it is undetermined where this incident occurred. At this time there is no further suspect information.
On 4/13/21, a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to a single car accident at MM 8.5 on Highway 119. The SUV was northbound and had driven off the right side of the roadway. The SUV drove up into the mountain and rolled at least once and came to rest in the southbound lanes of Highway 119. The driver was transported to the hospital for her injuries. The driver was later written a summons for Careless Driving.
On 4/13/21, Black Hawk Police responded to an abandoned cabin located at 572 Dory Hill Road on the report of a male party trespassing. The male was contacted and given a summons for trespassing.
On 4/13/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of male party being punched.
On 4/14/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a female party with a protection order and staying in the hotel room of the protected party. A female party was taken into custody.
On 4/14/21, Black Hawk Police responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a male party that exposed himself. A male suspect was identified and issued a citation for Indecent Exposure.
On 4/14/21, Black Hawk Police received a call of a lost cell phone which occurred at the Isle Casino on 4/13/2021. A male party was later identified as taking the cell phone. The male party returned the cell phone and was issued a summons for theft.
On 4/14/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a found backpack which contained narcotics.
On 4/14/21, Black Hawk Police took a phone report regarding Lost Property on the 8th of April at the Monarch Casino/Hotel.
On 4/15/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a theft. There was one suspect.
On 4/16/21, Black Hawk Police took a report of a possibly intoxicated driver. The vehicle was stopped at 5300 Highway 119 and an arrest was made.
On 4/16/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Golden Gates parking garage on the report of a vehicle break in.
On 4/17/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Hotel on the report of a domestic disturbance. One party was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail on a charge of Harassment.
On 4/17/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to 488 Main Street, the Monarch Parking Garage regarding a hit and run crash. There was one suspect vehicle which left the scene.
On 4/17/21, Black Hawk Police responded to a single vehicle slide off in the 700 block of Miner’s Mesa Road. No injuries were reported and a report was taken.
On 4/17/21, Black Hawk Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at the Monarch Casino parking garage. Three parties were contacted. One party was arrested on an outstanding warrant and taken to the Gilpin County Jail. Another was issued a summons by Colorado Division of Gaming for an unrelated issue.
On 4/17/21, Black Hawk officers took a report by phone on a theft that happened at the Saratoga Casino.
On 4/17/21, Black Hawk officers took a report by phone of a possible hit and run at the Ameristar Garage.
On 4/17/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to a call regarding a female spitting on a male during an argument. The case is under investigation.
On 4/18/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Mardi Gras Casino on the report of a female who was extremely emotionally distraught. Officers arrived and determined she was having a possible manic episode. Officers remained with the subject for approximately two hours in an attempt to work with her to build a safety place. During that time, the female was spitting all over, blowing her bodily fluids all over, and ended up throwing items at a security guard. It was determined the female subject was unsafe with herself and was placed on a mental health hold and taken by ambulance to the hospital.
On 4/20/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar parking garage on a civil issue. Parties were separated and a report was taken.
On 4/19/21, a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to the Lady Luck Casino parking garage on the report of a hit and run. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken.
On 4/19/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Saratoga Casino on the report of a stolen vehicle being tracked by On-Star to that location. The vehicle was found and identified as a stolen vehicle. A report was taken.
On 4/19/21, Black Hawk Police took a report regarding a theft at the Isle Casino on the 17th of April.
On 4/20/21, a Black Hawk detective was made aware from surveillance at the Monarch Casino that a suspect had damaged the electronic elevator controller on level 14 of the hotel. The suspect was identified and contacted. The suspect admitted to causing the damage. The cost to replace the controller was $2,950. A felony filing was completed.
On 4/22/21, a Black Hawk detective responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a theft. The suspect was later contacted and released pending charges. The stolen money was recovered and booked into evidence.
On 4/23/21, Black Hawk officers responded to 111 Main Street, the Gilpin Casino, on a call of a counterfeit $50 bill.
On 4/23/21, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the police department on the report of a male party claiming he lost his ID. An interview was conducted and a report was taken.
On 4/23/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the intersection of Gregory and Main Streets on the report of a female receiving threatening messages. A report was taken and an investigation is ongoing.
On 4/24/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Casino regarding a burglary. There was one male suspect.
On 4/24/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino on a report of a vehicle trespass.
On 4/24/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Isle Parking Garage for a vehicle break in. A report taken.
On 4/24/21, a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a theft. An investigation was conducted, the property taken was returned to the owner, and a summons was issued.

On 4/27/21, a Black Hawk sergeant took a report for a lost ID which occurred at the Isle Casino. No one was observed taking the ID from the location it was reported missing from. The ID is considered lost property.

On 4/27/21, a Black Hawk officer took an informational report on a missing juvenile from the Colorado Springs Police Department.
On 4/27/21, Black Hawk Police took a phone report of Suspicious Activity in regard to events from the previous day at Hidden Treasure Trailhead.
On 4/28/21, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Mardi Gras Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was a “Replica.” The bill was seized and placed into evidence for destruction. A report was taken.
On 4/28/21, a Black Hawk officer completed a walk in report of a theft of a cell phone.
On 4/28/21, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of party trespassing.
On 4/28/21, a Black Hawk officer took a report of a vehicle break in at the Isle parking garage. No suspect information was attainable at this time. A report was taken.
On 4/28/21, a Black Hawk officer found two vehicles that had been broken into located on level 2 of the Lady Luck parking garage. A report was taken.
On 4/29/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a verbal disturbance. A report was taken and an investigation is ongoing.
On 4/29/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of property damage. A municipal summons was issued to a male party.
On 4/29/21,a Black Hawk officer was advised there was some graffiti near Miners Mesa and Main Street.
On 4/29/21, Black Hawk officers responded to a disturbance call at the Isle Hotel. The hotel staff advised there was a verbal fight between a male and a female, with the female as the reporting party calling 911. Upon arrival, officers learned there was a verbal disturbance between two friends because of mental health issues. Parties were separated for the night.
On 4/30/21, Black Hawk Police were advised of a stolen vehicle that was possibly in the area. The vehicle was located and a suspect was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
On 4/30/21, a Black Hawk detective took the report of an unlawful sexual contact that had occurred at the Ameristar Casino on 3/7/21. There is suspect information, the case is active.
On 4/30/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Isle Casino to assist security on getting a party to leave a hotel room.
On 4/30/21, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the area of Highway 119 and Richman Street for a physical fight in progress between five people. Officers arrived and conducted an investigation. It was determined there was a road rage incident coming up the canyon between two vehicles. Parties exited their vehicles and began throwing punches. An investigation was completed and parties separated ways. Very minimal injuries were reported.
On 4/30/21, Black Hawk officers responded to a call about shots fired at the Coyote Motel. Three people were contacted and released.
On 4/30/21, Black Hawk officers responded to the Saratoga Casino on the report of a verbal disturbance. A report was taken, and no charges were filed.
