On 3/16/16 officers conducted a traffic stop and it was discovered the driver had a warrant for his arrest.
On 3/14/16, an officer responded to a criminal mischief incident, at the Isle Casino. Suspect has been identified and case is active.
On 3/14/16 an officer took a report of a harassing voice message. Case is under further investigation.
On 3/15/16 at approximately 0517 hours an officer received a phone report of a lost pearl necklace in a hotel room at the Ameristar Casino. The necklace was later found and a suspect was not identified. The necklace was returned to the owner.
On 3/16/16 Officer Metcalfe completed the telephone report of lost property. The property had been lost at the Ameristar Casino hotel on 2/17/16.
On 3/16/16 at approximately 1756 hours Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino, on a report of a party using a fraudulent ID card. A male suspect was issued a County Summons and released.
On 3/17/16 an officer responded to a disturbance at the Ameristar Casino. Involved parties did not wish to pursue a report for the incident.
On 3/17/16 Officer Metcalfe responded to the Golden Gates parking lot on the report of a hit and run traffic accident. There is suspect information.
On 3/17/16 at approximately 2349 hours Officers responded to the Ameristar Casino, on a report of a protection order violation. A male party was found to be in violation, and placed into custody. He was booked into Gilpin Count Jail.
On 3/18/16 an officer completed a phone report of criminal mischief at the Ameristar Casino.
On 3/18/16 at approximately 1739 hours, Officer’s responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an intoxicated party. The party was transported to the hospital by paramedics. While the paramedics were transporting the party, he became combative and Officer’s responded to the paramedics location, where the party spit on one of the responding officers. The party was sedated and transported to the hospital. The charges will be filed at a later date and time.
On 3/19/16 at approximately 0021 hours, an officer responded to MM 6.5 on HWY 119 for a report of an accident. The driver was not injured, however, was taken into custody for the suspicion of DUI.
On 3/19/16 at approximately 1049 hours, an officer responded to a report of a traffic accident at Main Street and Black Hawk Street.
On 3/19/16 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a suspicious party. The party was arrested for violating a protection order and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/19/16 an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on the report of a theft. There is suspect information.
On 3/19/16 at approximately 1251 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Isle Casino on the report of a wanted party. The party fled prior to Officers arrival, property left behind by the party was recovered and booked into safekeeping.
On 3/20/16, an officer responded to the Isle parking garage to assist Officer’s Davis and Sayers on a disturbance call. The female party they were in contact with came back with an active warrant. She was arrested and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/20/16 at approximately 1822 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of stolen property.
