Black Hawk Police Report, March 2026 

On 3/1/26, at approximately 3:38 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino Hotel for an assault that had happened on the 20th level of the hotel. Once officers arrived, officers conducted an investigation. After the investigation, victims did not want to press charges.

On 3/1/26, at approximately 3:01 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar casino regarding an individual who wanted to file a theft report for $400. A report was filed and is still under investigation.

On 3/1/26, at approximately 7:26 a.m., an officer was dispatched to Ameristar Casino for an intoxicated male. Male party was parked on level 5 of the parking garage. The suspect was arrested for DUI.

On 3/1/26, at approximately 4:17 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a cell phone theft. Officers spoke with the reporting party, spoke with surveillance, and identified a male party who took the cell phone from the gaming floor and left the property. Officers ultimately coordinated a time for the suspect to meet the victim to return the phone and receive a summons.

On 3/1/26, at approximately 7:12 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a motorized bike driving eastbound Gregory Street without the required equipment. The driver was issued a verbal warning and parked the vehicle.

On 3/1/26, at approximately 7:31 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that made a U-turn where prohibited on Gregory Street and Highway 119. Upon contact, the driver did not have valid insurance. The driver was issued a Gilpin County Summons.

On 3/1/26, at approximately 7:53 p.m., officers responded to Ameristar Casino's parking garage on a report of an intoxicated driver. The driver of the vehicle was contacted by officers in the Gilpin valet lot and officers directed the driver through voluntary roadside maneuvers. Officers transported the driver to the Gilpin County Jail for a breath test and ultimately released the driver with a summons for driving with a suspended license.

On 3/2/26, at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Gilpin Casino in regard to a theft of an employee's cell phone. The suspect has been identified and has been attempted to be contacted. If the suspect does not contact us a warrant will be placed for their arrest.

On 3/2/26, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed down Main Street. The driver was given a warning.

On 3/2/26, at approximately 10:35 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a male party refusing to leave the property. The male was contacted, and the clearance returned with two outstanding warrants. The male was transported to the Gilpin County Jail on the warrants with no new charges.

On 3/2/26, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino regarding a cell phone theft. No leads were found, but the victim was able to track the cell phone. The Arvada Police Department assisted in recovering the cell phone, which was located in the bed of a truck that did not belong to the suspect. The suspect was not contacted or on scene.

On 3/2/26, officers were dispatched to Monarch Casino on an unwanted party. The subject was verbally harassing employees.

On 3/2/26, at approximately 3:09 p.m., a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a physical disturbance. After reviewing surveillance footage, it was determined that the disturbance was only verbal.

On 3/2/26, at approximately 4:22 p.m., officers responded to Bull Durham Casino on a report of an unwanted party. Officers contacted the unwanted party and escorted him off Bull Durham property. Officers ultimately gave the unwanted party a summons for violation of protection order alcohol stipulations and cleared the scene.

On 3/2/26, at approximately 4:39 p.m., officers responded to Ameristar Casino on report of a human trafficking investigation. Officers spoke with the male party and notified a victim advocate. Officers ultimately cleared the scene with a report.

On 3/2/26, at approximately 11:53 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino in regard to a lost wallet. A male party was contacted and a report was taken. Surveillance called the police department and informed us that the wallet had been found and returned to the party.

On 3/3/26, at approximately 2:08 a.m., while conducting a routine business check of the Ameristar Casino officers were stopped by an individual who began to cause a disturbance and became disorderly. The individual was not charged, and officers cleared without incident.

On 3/3/26, at approximately 3:38 a.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling southbound on Highway 119 near mile marker 6, weaving. Upon contact, the driver did not possess a valid driver's licence. The driver was issued a Gilpin County Summons.

On 3/3/26, at approximately 8:44 a.m., a Black Hawk officer dispatched to the Ameristar Casino for a counterfeit $100. No suspect was on scene and the bill was rejected by the cash machine.

On 3/3/26, at approximately 4:56 p.m., officers responded to Monarch Casino's parking garage on a report of a vehicle break-in on level two of the garage. Officers contacted a male party on level one of the garage and ultimately wrote and issued him a summons for first degree criminal trespass.

On 3/3/26, at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers were informed about a disturbance between a male party and female party that had occurred at the Bull Durham Casino. Upon arrival officers were informed the male party had left in a black minivan. Officers caught up to the minivan and conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Main Street. The male party was cleared and came back with two mandatory protection orders and a warrant. The male party was booked into the Gilpin County Jail on the warrant, harassment, and violation of a protection order.

On 3/3/26, at approximately 9:38 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino, on a call of harassment. Officers were unable to determine who wrote derogatory remarks on a vehicle because it was outside camera coverage.

On 3/3/26, at approximately 10:32 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to make a complete stop at a red light on Gregory Street and Highway 119. The driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/3/26, at approximately 10:41 p.m., Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling southbound on Highway 119 for failing to make a complete stop at a traffic control device. The driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/4/26, at approximately 2:56 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a welfare check at the Ameristar parking garage on level nine, for a male party sleeping in his back seat. The male party was fine; he was just sobering up before he could drive home.

On 3/4/26, at approximately 6 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to a REDDI report from the Ameristar Casino for a driver leaving in a black BMW southbound on Highway 119. Black Hawk officers drove southbound on Highway 119 but were unable to locate the vehicle. Black Hawk officers passed on the REDDI report to Gilpin County and Colorado State Patrol. Gilpin County was able to locate the vehicle at mile marker 3.5 and Highway 119 and conduct a traffic stop. Black Hawk officers assisted Gilpin County in the arrest of the driver. The driver was arrested for two warrants and driving under the influence.

On 3/4/26, Black Hawk officers had several welfare checks on a subject that was showing signs of mental illness at the Ameristar Casino. The subject was not found to be a danger to themselves or others. A report was generated to document the contacts.

On 3/4/26, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Highway 119 from mile marker 6 with expired plates. Officers conducted a traffic stop, and the driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/4/26, at approximately 8:52 p.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing that the vehicle's head lamps were not illuminated at the intersection of Main Street and Miners Mesa Road. A driver was contacted and issued a verbal warning after the issue was corrected.

On 3/5/26, at approximately 1:17 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino for a welfare check of an intoxicated party. Upon contact, the intoxicated individual was taken into protective custody and transported to a local area hospital.

On 3/5/26, at approximately 3:14 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino Hotel lobby for a disturbance with a male and female party that happened in room 2128. After the investigation, officers determined no crime was committed. Both parties separated.

On 3/5/26, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a disturbance between a male and female in the parking lot. When officers arrived on scene, the male and female were engaged and pushing and shoving one another. The male then advanced aggressively towards the officer and was tasered. The male subject was taken into custody. He was later released to a sober adult on a citation.

On 3/5/26, at approximately 4:03 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino on a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. Upon investigation, officers reviewed surveillance video and identified a suspect.

On 3/5/26, at approximately 10:23 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino for two male parties panhandling outside the front door on Main Street. Upon arrival, officers determined one of the male parties had a warrant. The male party was taken to Gilpin County Jail on the warrant.

On 3/5/26, at approximately 10:54 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding an individual causing a disturbance. The individual was contacted and escorted off the property.

On 3/6/26, at approximately 1:05 a.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino regarding a disturbance between an individual and a casino security officer. Upon further investigation, the individual was contacted and issued a Gilpin County Summons for harassment.

On 3/6/26, at approximately 2:17 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a welfare check. An individual was contacted and later transported to an area hospital by Gilpin County Medics.

On 3/6/26, at approximately 8:02 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino in reference to theft of a wallet. After a thorough investigation, the suspect was located, cited, and the wallet was returned to the owner.

On 3/7/26, at approximately 12:35 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a possible theft of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival and further investigation, it was confirmed that the motor vehicle had been stolen from the Dakota Lot. A report was taken.

On 3/7/26, a small baggie of a suspected narcotic was located on the Gilpin Casino gaming floor. There are no suspects or time frames from when this occurred. The drugs will be booked into evidence for destruction.

On 3/7/26, at approximately 4:17 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle observed with heavy amounts of snow on the top of it and covering the driver windshield obstructing view at Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver was given a warning.

On 3/7/26, at approximately 5:31 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a report of counterfeit money. Officers made contact with the male who attempted to use it, and the bill was seized.

On 3/7/26, at approximately 7:33 p.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino for a welfare check on a male party. The male party was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

On 3/7/26, at approximately 8 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Dakota Lot on a report of a property damage accident involving two vehicles. Officers conducted an investigation and a report was taken.

On 3/7/26, at approximately 8:32 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle at Main Street and Gregory Street with no headlamps required, and shortly thereafter, the vehicle failed to yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk. Officers conducted a traffic stop, and the driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/8/26, at approximately 10:43 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling north on Highway 119 from mile marker 6 with a headlamp out, rear license plate lights out, and expired plates. Officers conducted a traffic stop, and the driver was issued a Gilpin County penalty assessment.

On 3/8/26, at approximately 11:31 p.m., officers observed a vehicle driving carelessly at Highway 119 and Miners Road. The driver was stopped and given a warning.

On 3/8/26, at approximately  12:11 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino for a trespassing individual on the property. The individual was contacted and given a Gilpin County summons.

On 3/8/26, at approximately 1:04 a.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling westbound on Gregory Street, for driving without headlights. The driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/8/26, an officer took a complaint of suspected drug activity occurring at the Monarch Casino. A report was completed, and an investigation is ongoing.

On 3/8/26, at approximately 7:11 p.m., officers responded to a lost property call at Monarch Casino. The officer spoke with the reporting party and ultimately cleared the scene with a report.

On 3/8/26, at approximately 9:19 p.m., Black Hawk officers initiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of Gregory Street for no headlights. The driver was contacted and given a warning for not having the headlights on.

On 3/8/26, at approximately 9:41 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino for a report of a counterfeit bill. Upon further investigation, the bill was determined to be fictitious and collected as evidence.

On 3/8/26, at approximately 10:34 p.m., officers responded to the valet area at the Horseshoe Casino on report of a party who was refusing to get off the bus. Officers spoke with the reporting party and the party who was refusing to get off. Ultimately the party got off the bus and officers cleared the scene with a report.

On 3/9/26, at approximately 12:53 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of found drugs. Officers are attempting to contact the suspect.

On 3/9/26, at approximately 5 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a damaged elevator monitor. The suspect was arrested on new criminal mischief charges and violation of two protection orders.

On 3/9/26, at approximately 6:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to Monarch Casino on a damaged property call. Security personnel informed officers about a drug incident that also occurred around the same time in the parking garage.

On 3/9/26, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a Black Hawk officer took a damaged property report at 911 Miners Mesa Road. There is no suspect information at this time.

On 3/9/26, at approximately 4:27 p.m., officers responded to Ameristar Casino's parking garage on report of a traffic accident that took place on level five of the garage. Officers interviewed both involved drivers, reviewed surveillance, and ultimately cleared the scene with no further action. Officers took a report.

On 3/9/26, at approximately 4:53 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. The suspect was not charged for having the counterfeit bill but was arrested on a warrant and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/9/26, at approximately 9:06 p.m., Black Hawk officers were in surveillance at the Ameristar Casino. While in surveillance, officers observed a male and female party from a previous contact, where officers knew there was a protection order in place. Officers contacted the male party, who was issued a summons for violation of a protection order stipulations for alcohol.

On 3/9/26, at approximately 10:52 p.m., officers contacted a male party who was sleeping in his vehicle at 245 Main Street for a welfare check. Officers spoke with the male party and determined he was in good welfare. The male party planned to drive home and officers cleared the scene.

On 3/10/26, at approximately 12:17 a.m., officers observed a vehicle driving southbound on Highway 119 with registration stickers which read an expiration of 6/25. Officers stopped the vehicle at the 5.8 mile marker on Highway 119 and officers ultimately cleared the scene with a verbal warning for driving with expired plates.

On 3/10/26, at approximately 8:28 p.m., officers were on a routine patrol when they noticed a vehicle driving through the intersection at Miners Road and Main Street with no head lights and no visible rear plate. A traffic stop was conducted in the Monarch Casino parking garage. The driver provided his Colorado temporary tag. He was advised to place it on his vehicle and given a verbal warning.

On 3/10/26, at approximately 11:26 p.m., officers responded to Monarch Casino on report of a trespass. Officers contacted the male suspect and ultimately wrote him a summons for trespass. Officers cleared the scene with a report.

On 3/11/26, at approximately 12:51 a.m., officers received a report that a vehicle was seen leaving Ameristar Casino and the driver was suspected of being intoxicated. Officers saw the vehicle and stopped the vehicle on Lawrence Street near the Red Dolly Casino. The officer ultimately cleared the scene with no further action.

On 3/11/26, at approximately 1:08 a.m., officers observed a vehicle traveling south in the 300 block of Main Street with no headlights on. A traffic stop was conducted, during the stop the driver admitted to having a couple drinks. The driver was asked to perform roadside maneuvers and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

On 3/11/26, a Black Hawk officer contacted an intoxicated party walking on the highway. The party was evaluated and transported to the hospital by ambulance.

On 3/11/26, at approximately 6:51 p.m., officers observed a vehicle driving southbound on Gregory Street with registration stickers that read the expiration of 8/25. Officers stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver. Officers ultimately cleared the scene with a verbal warning.

On 3/11/26, at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers responded to Ameristar Casino on report of damaged property occurring on 3/10/26. Officers reviewed surveillance video and identified a suspect. Officers cleared the scene with a report pending further action.

On 3/11/26, at approximately 10:41 p.m., officers observed a vehicle driving eastbound on Main Street without any posted number plates on his vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle, contacted the driver, and ultimately cleared the scene with a verbal warning.

On 3/12/26, at approximately 11:05 p.m., a Black Hawk officer received a report of an intoxicated driver from the Monarch Casino. Upon contact and investigation, the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The driver was issued a Gilpin County Summons and released to a sober party.

On 3/12/26, at approximately 1:41 a.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle making a right turn onto Highway 119 from Miners Mesa Road for failing to use a turn signal. The driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/12/26, at approximately 3:06 a.m., officers were on a routine patrol of Highway 119 in the City of Black Hawk, when they noticed a vehicle with no license plates. A traffic stop was conducted at Highway 119 and Gregory Street. The driver had an instructional permit and did not have a licensed driver with them. The driver was told to park his car in the Ameristar garage and not to drive the vehicle until they got it registered and until they had a licensed driver with them.

On 3/12/26, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of damage to a vehicle. The damage occurred on Highway 119 in Gilpin County, and an assist to outside agency was completed.

On 3/12/26, officers responded to the Dakota Lot on a report of a criminal trespass to motor vehicle. The case is active.

On 3/12/26, officers responded to the intersection of Main Street and Highway 119 on a cold property damage. The reporting property was a city employee. An investigation determined this was a hit and run accident.

On 3/12/26, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Gilpin Casino on the report of criminal mischief. The casino made arrangements for the responsible party to pay for the damages; thus, no criminal charges were filed.

On 3/12/26, at approximately 7:20 p.m., officers responded to Monarch Parking lot level 2 for a private property auto crash.

On 3/12/26, at approximately 9:48 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Dakota Lot for a vehicle accident involving a red Ford truck and a purple Toyota Scion. After the investigation, the driver of the Ford truck was issued a summons for unsafe backing.

On 3/13/26, at approximately 2:19 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to a theft of a wallet by a female party at the Monarch Casino. After the investigation, the victim did not want to press charges and the suspect paid restitution. At approximately 2:50 a.m., Black Hawk officers were again dispatched for a REDDI report on the suspect. The suspect was located at the Ameristar garage on level seven by officers. The suspect was placed into custody for driving under the influence. The suspect was issued a summons for DUI and possession of a controlled substance and released.

On 3/13/26, at approximately 10:02 p.m., officers initiated a citizen contact with a female who was lingering in and out of traffic at the intersection of Main Street and Miners. After identifying the female, it was found that she had outstanding warrants out of Lakewood PD and Denver County Marshal's Office. Both warrants were confirmed and the female was taken into custody without incident.

On 3/13/26, a Black Hawk officer assisted on follow-up for a traffic accident that occurred out of our jurisdiction at Highway 58 and US 6. The information was forwarded to Colorado State Patrol.

On 3/13/26, an email was sent to the Black Hawk Police Department regarding a drug dealer in city limits. The information was documented and shared with officers. No charges were filed due to lack of specifics and information being hearsay.

On 3/13/26, Black Hawk officers responded to Ameristar Casino on a law enforcement report of a wanted person who was potentially inside the casino. Officers arrived and located two parties matching the given description. Officers discovered that the two parties contacted were not associated with the wanted person. Officers released the two parties and cleared the scene.

On 3/13/26, at approximately 9:29 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing that its head and tail lamps were not illuminated at the intersection of Main and Richman Streets. The driver was contacted and issued a verbal warning after the issue was corrected.

On 3/13/26, at approximately 9:44 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to display headlights and display of a fictitious temporary tag occurring at Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning, fictitious temp tags were seized, and a report was completed.

On 3/13/26, at approximately 10:29 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to display headlights occurring at 6000 Highway 119. The driver was issued a verbal warning and a field interview report was completed.

On 3/13/26, at approximately 11:12 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle with an expired California license plate from March 2025 and non-illuminated tail lamps traveling northbound from Highway 119 and mile marker 6. A driver was contacted who did not have a valid driver's license or insurance. The driver was given a verbal warning due to a high-priority call for service.

On 3/13/26, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino for a physical disturbance, after investigation it was determined to be a verbal disagreement.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 11:48 p.m., officers were on routine patrol at Main Street and Miners Road when they observed two males engaged in a physical fight. The parties were separated, interviewed, and ultimately released.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino for a welfare check of a party acting “erratically.” Through investigation, it was determined that the party was involved in a domestic violence incident at the Lady Luck and had a protection order that they violated. The suspect was arrested.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 1:35 a.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a counterfeit 50-dollar bill. The suspected counterfeit bill was collected, and a report was completed.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 6:33 a.m., while patrolling the Bally's parking garage, officers observed a white Jeep Liberty parked on level 2 with no license plate displayed. The vehicle appeared to be running with two subjects asleep inside of the vehicle. Both subjects were identified and one was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 8:30 a.m., officers contacted a male with a mental health issue where he believed he was a locksmith and could forcibly open up doors to residences to allow other residents to gain access. He was found on High Street and attempted to open the front door by turning the handle. The

male subject was found to not be a danger to himself or others and was told to not return to the residential area and if he attempted to open any further doors he would be arrested. An extra patrol request was completed.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 10:09 a.m., a Black Hawk officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino garage for a hit and run accident that occurred. Through surveillance video, the driver of the run vehicle was identified. The officer is still attempting to make contact with the driver to resolve this incident.

On 3/14/26, Black Hawk officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino on a request for a welfare check. Officers collected information on scene and were advised that the party in question was transported to an area hospital the previous day.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 1:42 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop after a vehicle veered into the other  lane at the intersection of Gregory Street and Bobtail Road. The female driver was distracted talking to her friend. A warning was given.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers observed a vehicle displaying an expired temporary tag of 1/25, in the 600 block of Highway 119, the driver was stopped and cited.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 6:28 p.m., Black Hawk officers were advised of a cold harassment that occurred at the Red Dolly Casino. Upon investigation, a worker took a drink from an individual who was intoxicated. A report was taken.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 7:53 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle turning right onto Highway 119 from Main Street, not using turn signals. The vehicle then merged without using turn signals. Officers conducted a traffic stop, and the driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/14/26, at approximately 8:27 p.m., officers responded to the report of an intoxicated individual at Ameristar who was physically attacking patrons. The party was located and arrested.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 10:58 p.m., the Black Hawk Police Department received a call from a concerned individual who was worried about their fiancé, whom they had been unable to reach; the fiancé's last known location was in the city. The individual was not located, and a report was taken.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 11:52 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a report of a female sitting on another female. Upon investigation, a suspect was identified and was issued a Municipal Summons.

On 3/15/26, a Black Hawk officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic lane violation which occurred on Gregory Street at Main Street. The driver was advised of the violation and given a verbal warning.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 12:33 a.m., officers observed a vehicle make an unsafe lane change at Highway 119 southbound and Miners Road. The driver was given a verbal warning.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 2 a.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel regarding a possible family dispute. Officers made contact with all individuals involved and determined that a crime had been committed. A suspect was contacted and issued a Municipal summons for property damage.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 4:12 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing that it had a defective headlamp, which impaired visibility in heavy snow while traveling northbound at the intersection of Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver was contacted and given a verbal warning.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 6:31 a.m., officers responded to Horseshoe Casino in the valet area on report of an unwanted party in the Ramblin bus at the bus stop. Officers spoke with the female party and she ultimately planned to wait for the next bus. No further action was taken.

On 3/15/26, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Ameristar Garage on the report of an intoxicated party who had gone to the garage and entered her vehicle. The party was contacted and was later released to a sober party.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 1 p.m., officers observed a vehicle driving northbound on Highway 119 with no license plates attached. Officers stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver. Upon contact, the driver presented a valid temporary license plate which had fallen out of his back windshield. Officers cleared the scene with no action.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 3:32 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino and the Horseshoe Casino on report of a suspicious male party. Officers ultimately contacted the male party and released him with no further actions taken.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 5:04 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino, regarding a lost wallet.

On 3/15/26, at approximately 10:31 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino in regard to a possible party being drugged on the morning of 3/14/26. Officers met with the reporting party and took statements. The incident is being investigated.

On 3/16/26, at approximately 7:16 a.m., officers observed a vehicle driving westbound on Main Street with a registration sticker that read the expiration date of 8/25. Officers stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver. Upon contact, the driver did not have a valid drivers license. Officers ultimately wrote and issued the driver a summons and cleared the scene.

On 3/16/26, at approximately 8:08 a.m., officers were dispatched to Lady Luck Casino hotel on a report of a motor vehicle theft.

On 3/16/26, at approximately 11:57 a.m., officers responded to Z Casino's parking area on report of two parties in need of a welfare check inside a vehicle. Officers found the vehicle and contacted two parties who were sleeping inside. Officers ultimately determined the two parties were in good welfare and cleared the scene with no further actions taken.

On 3/16/26, officers spoke with a male party who reported that his vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident at Lodge Casino. Officers spoke with the reporting party on the phone and contacted Lodge Casino's surveillance. Officers cleared the call with further actions pending.

On 3/16/26, officers responded to the Gilpin Casino regarding a male who had been trespassed and continued to return to the property. Male was contacted, given a verbal warning regarding the permanent trespass, and left the property. This report was provided for documentation of the verbal warning.

On 3/17/26, a Black Hawk officer was assigned a missing persons report. A male party had been missing since Saturday, 3/14/26. It was later discovered that the party was taken to a detox center by the Arvada Police Department. The party arrived at home on 3/17/26 at approximately 2 a.m.

On 3/16/26, at approximately 4:33 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino to check the welfare of a party. The party was contacted and checked okay. Officers were later called to the same party, refusing to leave the Monarch Casino, located at 488 Main Street. The party had left upon arrival. He was contacted and informed he was not welcome back on the property. A field interview report was completed.

On 3/16/26, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino to check the welfare of a party possibly experiencing a mental health crisis. The party was contacted and did not meet the criteria for an involuntary transport or hold. An information report was completed.

On 3/17/26, at approximately 12:54 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino in report of an employee that had used a guest's compensations and credit card to book a room at the hotel on 3/16/26. The employee was identified. The investigation is ongoing.

On 3/17/26, at approximately 2:13 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino in regard to a welfare check on a female party, who had reported that she knew of people being sex trafficked at the casino. Upon arrival officers went up to a hotel room and made contact with a male and female party. After an investigation, officers determined that nothing criminal had occurred. The female party was okay and did not wish to provide us with information on the sex trafficking.

On 3/17/26, officers responded to Horseshoe Casino on a report of found drugs. No suspect was identified.

On 3/17/26, at approximately 2:54 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of fictitious plates occurring at Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver was issued a verbal warning, the plates were seized and a report was completed.

On 3/17/26, at approximately 4:06 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of expired license plates occurring at 6000 Highway 119. The driver was found to have an outstanding traffic warrant, they were arrested without incident and transported to jail. A report was completed.

On 3/17/26, at approximately 7 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar parking garage on a report of a property damage hit and run. A suspect was unable to be identified through a surveillance review and a report was completed.

On 3/17/26, at approximately 7:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino in regard to a female party who had fraudulent charges on her credit card. The female party had stated she left her bag in her room and was unsure if someone had accessed the room while they were gone. An investigation was completed and no one had entered her hotel room.

On 3/17/26, at approximately 11:22 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino in regard to a lost property report. Upon arrival the reporting party was met and stated she had been drinking and lost her vape. After clearing the party, officers discovered they had violated her protection order. A citation was written for the VPO, and a report was taken of the lost property.

On 3/18/26, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle with expired Colorado temporary tag at the intersection of Richman Street and Highway 119. Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at mile marker 6. A verbal warning was issued.

On 3/18/26, Black Hawk officers responded to a report of a disturbance in a hotel room between a female party and a male party. An investigation was conducted and an arrest was made. A report was taken.

On 3/18/26, at approximately 12:16 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle at Gregory Street and Highway 119 not using turn signals. Officers conducted a traffic stop and the driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/18/26, at approximately 12:34 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop at 333 Main Street on a driver who was towing a trailer with no plate. The vehicle was going northbound on Highway 119 near Main Street when officers spotted the trailer. The driver was able to provide the officers with documentation for the purchase of the trailer. Officers issued the driver a penalty assessment for not having a valid driver's license.

On 3/18/26, at approximately 12:43 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Miners Road and Main Street to investigate a vehicle crash. A driver was contacted and a report was completed.

On 3/18/26, at approximately 2:51 p.m., an officer observed a driver operating a vehicle using his cell phone. Then on Highway 119 mile marker 6, the driver transitioned lanes without using his signal. Officers stopped the vehicle, contacted the driver, and ultimately cleared the scene with a verbal warning.

On 3/18/26, at approximately 6:05 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of expired license plates occurring at Highway 119 and Richman Street. The driver had a revoked license, habitual offender and was issued a summons and proof of service. A report was completed.

On 3/18/26, at approximately 6:52 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no number plate displayed occurring at Highway 119 and Main Street. The driver was issued a penalty assessment and a report was completed.

On 3/18/26, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle with no taillights on turning southbound Highway 119 from Richman Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at mile marker 5.8. A verbal warning was issued.

On 3/18/26, officers took information on an overdue individual at the Ameristar Casino. The reporting party was just concerned she had not heard from him in a few hours. The reporting party later located the individual at his residence. The missing individual was confirmed to be okay by officers, and his cell phone battery had died.

On 3/19/26, at approximately 1:31 a.m., officers came across a vehicle without licence plates parked on a public road behind the Sasquatch Casino. The driver was contacted and given a verbal warning.

On 3/19/26, at approximately 1:13 a.m., Black Hawk officers received a report of harassment at the Monarch Casino. Upon further investigation, there was no evidence to support harassment, and the case status will be unfounded.

On 3/19/26, at approximately 10:22 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling southbound on Miners Mesa Road. for driving without headlights. The driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/19/26, Black Hawk officers received property that was found from a motorist. Property will be booked in for safekeeping. No owner information at this time.

On 3/19/26, at approximately 8:40 p.m., officers responded to the Bally's West Casino for a welfare check. An individual was contacted and later transported to an area hospital.

On 3/19/26, at approximately 10:28 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle with a Virginia license plate that expired back in June of 2024 at the intersection of Main Street and Miners Mesa. Upon contact with the driver, it was discovered that they had just recently bought the vehicle from a third party. The driver was given a verbal warning and advised to get the vehicle properly registered.

On 3/19/26, at approximately 11:32 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to a hit-and-run that occurred on level 6 at the Ameristar Casino parking garage. Upon arrival, officers assessed the damage to the victim's vehicle. After the investigation, officers were able to locate a suspect. On 3/26/26, at approximately 8:56 p.m., the suspect met officers at the Black Hawk Police Department to be issued a summons.

On 3/20/26, at approximately 7:30 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino in reference to a possible fictitious identification. Upon arrival, officers identified two subjects who were displaying a valid military identification card. Both subjects were cleared without incident.

On 3/20/26, the Black Hawk police department received a call from an outside agency for an attempted pick-up on an outstanding warrant. The city was searched for the individual, which officers were unable to locate.

On 3/20/26, a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5800 block of Highway 119 after observing an expired Colorado license plate. The driver was contacted and released on a warning.

On 3/20/26, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Black Hawk Police Department on a report of found property that was picked up from the ground inside Gregory Plaza. Officers collected the property and will be booking it in for safekeeping. It is unknown at this time who the owner is.

On 3/20/26, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to Ameristar Casino on a report of damaged property inside the parking garage. Officers spoke to the reporting party and located a suspect. Officers tracked down the suspect inside the parking garage. The suspect was seen under the influence operating a motor vehicle inside the parking garage. The suspect was placed into custody. The reporting party stated that he did not want to press charges for the damaged property.

On 3/21/26, at approximately 4:33 a.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Hotel regarding a disturbance that was physical at one point. Upon further investigation, a suspect was contacted, identified, and later placed into custody. The suspect was then transported to Gilpin County Jail, and a report was completed.

On 3/21/26, at approximately 12:44 p.m., a Black Hawk officer observed a vehicle driving over the posted speed limit of 35 mph driving up behind him on Highway 119 at mile marker 6. A Black Hawk officer was driving the speed limit and the vehicle caught up to him, obviously driving over the limit. A Black Hawk officer completed a traffic stop and the driver was given a verbal warning.

On 3/21/26, at approximately 1:42 p.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Gregory and Highway 119 for running a red light on the left turn onto Highway 119. The driver was contacted and released on a warning.

On 3/21/26, at approximately 4:34 p.m., officers observed a vehicle go straight from a right turn only lane at Gregory and Main Street. The driver was contacted and given a warning.

On 3/21/26, at approximately 4:44 p.m., officers observed a vehicle failing to maintain a lane and driving excessively under the speed limit. The driver was contacted and given a verbal warning.

On 3/21/26, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to Ameristar Casino on a report of lost property. Officers arrived on scene and met with the victim and security staff. Security staff advised that they had picked up the property and held it for safekeeping. The victim received all his property back. No crime occurred. 

On 3/21/26, Black Hawk officers responded to Monarch Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill that had been passed on the gaming floor. Officers arrived and located the bill and the suspect. The suspect's information was collected for documentation. Officers cleared the scene.

On 3/21/26, at approximately 11:10 p.m., officers observed a vehicle traveling well above the posted speed limit on Main Street, and following too closely. Upon contact the driver did not have valid insurance.

On 3/22/26, at approximately 12:07 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately (REDDI) report. The suspected intoxicated driver was contacted and was deemed not to be impaired. A report was completed.

On 3/22/26, at approximately 1:04 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling eastbound from the 300 block of Main Street, whose head and tail lamps were not illuminated. The driver was contacted and issued a verbal warning after the issue was corrected.

On 3/22/26, at approximately 1:49 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino for a wallet theft. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim. After the investigation officers were able to locate the suspect at the Ameristar Casino. The suspect was issued a summons for theft.

On 3/22/26, at approximately 3:59 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino for a theft of a bag. After the investigation, Black Hawk officers were able to determine that the male suspect was in a relationship with the female victim. Officers placed the male into custody for the theft, domestic violence, and violation of a protection order, alcohol stipulations.

On 3/22/26, at approximately 4:57 a.m., an officer with the assistance of a Gilpin County deputy responded to a report of an active disturbance in a hotel room at the Lodge Casino. Upon further investigation, it was determined that there was no evidence of any crime. A report was completed.

On 3/22/26, at approximately 3:50 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for display of an expired temporary tag occurring at Highway 119 and Miners Road. The driver was arrested on outstanding warrants and issued a penalty assessment for traffic violations. A report was completed.

On 3/22/26, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a party refusing to leave. The subject was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/22/26, at approximately 9:21 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of an unwanted party. The party left the property without incident. A report was taken.

On 3/22/26, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle weaving southbound Highway 119. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at mile marker 5.5 by the Coyote Motel. Officers observed no indicators of impaired driving, but the driver was operating the vehicle without a valid driver's license. A summons was issued.

On 3/23/26, at approximately 11:24 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino for an assist to the Division of Gaming. Upon further investigation, it was determined that no crime was committed.

On 3/23/26, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle merging onto southbound Highway 119 from Richman Street without using a turn signal. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at mile marker 5.8. A verbal warning was issued.

On 3/23/26, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers observed a vehicle parked on level nine of Ameristar Casino's parking garage with a suspicious temporary license plate attached. Officers ultimately determined the temporary number plate was fictitious and removed the plate from the vehicle. Officers cleared the scene pending further action.

On 3/23/26, at approximately 12:31 p.m., officers observed a vehicle parked on level nine of Ameristar Casino's parking garage with an attached fictitious temporary number plate. Officers removed the plate from the vehicle and were ultimately unable to identify a suspect.

On 3/23/26, at approximately 4:36 p.m., a Black Hawk officer was on a routine patrol when they saw a vehicle make a left hand turn from the straight lane. A traffic stop was conducted. The driver admitted to having a suspended license and was issued a proof of service and a summons.

On 3/23/26, at approximately 8:09 p.m., officers were on a routine patrol of Gregory Street, when they noticed a vehicle driving without headlights on. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was given a verbal warning.

On 3/23/26, at approximately 8:31 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of a lost cell phone. The suspect has been identified and a report was taken. The case is still active.

On 3/23/26, a Black Hawk officer was contacted while at the Monarch Casino by a party who wished to report lost property. The party was found to have an outstanding warrant for their arrest and was transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/24/26, at approximately 10:04 p.m., Black Hawk officers initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of Main Street for a vehicle with no headlights, and that failed to stop at the flashing light for pedestrians to cross the street. The driver was given a verbal warning and released.

On 3/24/26, at approximately 11:07 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to Gregory and Main Street for a report of a possible impaired driver. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver was not impaired.

On 3/24/26, at approximately 1:09 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Wild Card Casino in regard to a Ramblin Express bus that had hit and damaged a concrete wall and left the scene. The bus driver was contacted and issued a summons.

On 3/24/26, at approximately 2:21 p.m., Black Hawk dispatch received a call from a female party wanting to check on the welfare of her child. The female party stated that her child was with their grandmother at the Monarch Casino. An officer spoke with the reporting female party and the grandmother on the phone. The grandmother stated the child was okay and that they had already left Black Hawk and were heading home.

On 3/24/26, at approximately 6:01 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Horseshoe Hotel on a lost property call involving a Lyft. Investigation is still ongoing.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 12:22 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to Monarch Casino on a trespass call. A municipal county summons was issued.

On 3/25/26, Black Hawk officers responded to the area of Bally's North Casino on a report of a missing backpack. A report was taken and the case is still active.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 7:12 a.m., officers observed a vehicle driving southbound on Highway 119 with an expired temporary number plate attached. Officers stopped the vehicle, contacted the driver, and ultimately cleared the scene with a verbal warning.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 7:39 a.m., officers responded to Monarch Casino on report of an unwanted party refusing to leave the casino after being asked to leave by security. Officers arrived and contacted the unwanted party who was already outside the building waiting for his ride home. The unwanted party ultimately got a ride home and officers cleared the scene.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 8:51 a.m., officers observed a vehicle driving above the posted speed limit going eastbound on Main Street. Officers stopped the vehicle inside Monarch Casino's parking garage, contacted the driver, and ultimately cleared the scene with a verbal warning.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 11:56 a.m., an officer was doing an area check of the Ameristar garage, when they noticed a suspicious vehicle with no license plate. The driver was contacted and stated they had just purchased the vehicle.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 12:12 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding a report of a missing person. Officers were ultimately unable to locate the potentially missing party in the city. Officers cleared the call pending further actions.

On 3/25/26, Black Hawk officers responded to the 100 block of Richman for a reported mental health crisis. Officers made contact with the male party, who had made suicidal statements to the reporting party. Officers placed the male in protective custody and had him transported for a medical evaluation.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 3:29 p.m., Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop on the 300 block of Main Street for a vehicle driving carelessly. Officers issued a warning and cleared the scene.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle turning from Miners Road onto Highway 119 to travel southbound when they observed a vehicle with expired plates. Officers conducted a traffic stop, and upon contact, the driver did not have valid insurance. The driver was issued a municipal summons.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 7:11 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling eastbound near the 500 block of Gregory Street when they observed a vehicle with no plates attached. Officers also observed the vehicle stop, and a male passenger got out. Officers conducted a traffic stop and, upon investigation, found the driver and passenger engaged in a verbal argument; no physical contact occurred. The driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/25/26, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a male party with a firearm inside the bathroom. No firearms were located and a report was taken.

On 3/25/26, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle northbound on Highway 119 crossing double yellow lines passing a vehicle. Officers conducted a traffic stop next to the Coyote Motel. A verbal warning was issued.

On 3/25/26, at approximately 10:31 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to a harassment call at the Ameristar Casino Hotel pool. During the investigation, a female party had lied to officers about her name because she had multiple warrants. After the investigation, one of the victims wanted to press charges against the female party who lied about her name to officers for harassment. A warrant was drafted for the suspect for harassment and for false reporting, identifying information to law enforcement.

On 3/26/26, at approximately 4:24 a.m., an officer was performing a License Plate Reader (LPR) sweep of the Horseshoe parking garage. During the sweep, the officer located a vehicle associated with an ongoing investigation by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. The vehicle was later impounded at the request of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office for their investigation.

On 3/26/26, at approximately 9:30 a.m., a Black Hawk officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino for a stolen cash count machine. Upon arrival, an investigation was initiated and a report taken.

On 3/26/26, at approximately 12:42 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to 300 Main Street on a report of damaged property that occurred earlier in the day. Officers arrived and documented the damage, located a suspect, and issued a summons.

On 3/26/26, Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino to assist the Colorado Division of Gaming. Officers contacted a male suspect and obtained contact information.

On 3/26/26, at approximately 5:02 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling northbound Highway 119 from mile marker 6 with expired plates. Officers conducted a traffic stop, and upon contact, the driver also didn't have any insurance. The driver was issued a Gilpin County summons.

On 3/26/26, at approximately 10:38 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a welfare check of an individual. The individual was contacted, identified, and later escorted to a hotel room after refusing medical attention. A report was completed.

On 3/27/26, at approximately 2:39 a.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino's hotel on a report of a physical disturbance. Through investigation, it was determined that the physical disturbance portion was sexual in nature, but both parties had a domestic violence protection order. The restrained party was arrested.

On 3/27/26, at approximately 3:59 p.m., officers responded to the valet area of the Ameristar Casino, in reference to a motor vehicle theft in progress. The information given was that the suspect was attempting to steal a grey Tesla. The suspect was located inside of the vehicle and taken into custody.

On 3/27/26, Black Hawk officers received a report by Ameristar Casino that a male party had caused property damage inside the casino. Officers investigated the incident, obtained the suspect's contact information, and released him pending charges.

On 3/28/26, at approximately 12:41 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to a welfare check at the Bally's North Casino open parking lot. As officers arrived, officers were unable to locate the reporting party. After searching the casino officers located the reporting party on the second floor. After contacting the reporting party, the reporting party was transported to the hospital.

On 3/28/26, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle without its headlamps illuminated and exceeding the posted speed limit, traveling westbound from the 200 block of Main Street. The driver was contacted and was unable to provide proof of insurance. The driver was issued a Gilpin County summons.

On 3/28/26, at approximately 12:39 p.m., a Black Hawk officer observed a vehicle that failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn at Main Street and Highway 119. The officer completed a traffic stop and the driver was issued a warning.

On 3/28/26, Black Hawk officers observed a traffic violation at the 400 block of Main Street and conducted a traffic stop. Officers issued a verbal warning and cleared the scene.

On 3/28/26, at approximately 4:07 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to a verbal disturbance at Ameristar Casino. Officers made contact with an intoxicated female party who was involved. Officers made contact with the male party and ensured that no crimes were committed. In doing so, officers discovered that the female party was violating a protection order. Officers issued a summons into court and separately released both parties.

On 3/28/26, Black Hawk officers responded to a reported hit and run that occurred at Bally’s Casino on the 3rd level of the parking garage. Officers spoke with the suspect and the victim. Officers issued a summons and cleared the scene.

On 3/28/26, at approximately 8 p.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle at the 100 block of Gregory Street with no headlamps as required. Officers conducted a traffic stop, and the driver was issued a verbal warning.

On 3/28/26, at approximately 10:07 p.m., an officer responded to the Horseshoe parking garage regarding a parking complaint. The reporting party stated that a vehicle was parked too close to their vehicle in a handicapped section without a placard. It was also determined that the suspect vehicle caused minor damage to the reporting party's vehicle. A report was taken, and a parking ticket was issued to the suspect vehicle.

On 3/28/26, at approximately 10:05 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to a missing person for a male party at Monarch Casino. After the investigation, Black Hawk officers were able to locate the male party. The male party was ok and just gambling at the casino. 

On 3/28/26, at approximately 11:49 p.m., officers observed a vehicle at Main Street and Miners Road with no headlamps on and no plates. Upon stop the driver was suspended. The vehicle was recently purchased, and proof was provided. The driver was cited for the headlamps and suspension.

On 3/28/26, at approximately 11:53 p.m., officers observed a vehicle driving carelessly at the intersection of Highway 119 southbound and Main Street. The driver was stopped and issued a verbal warning.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 1:54 a.m., officers responded to a REDDI report for a vehicle in the Ameristar garage. The vehicle was stopped in the Horseshoe Garage, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino for a lost car key fob. After the investigation, surveillance was unable to determine where the fob had been dropped.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 8:57 a.m., officers observed a vehicle driving eastbound on Bobtail Street with an expiration date that read 2/25. Officers stopped the vehicle, contacted the driver, and ultimately cleared the scene with a verbal warning.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 9:36 a.m., a Black Hawk officer conducted a traffic stop for defective stop lights. No citation was issued and the driver was given a verbal warning.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 10:07 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to Ameristar Casino parking garage on level 9 for a hit and run call. After reviewing surveillance, the reporting party arrived at the parking garage with the damage already on the car.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 12:24 p.m., an officer responded to the hotel at the Monarch Casino in reference to a found gun in a hotel room. The gun was collected and the owner was contacted.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 3 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Gregory Street, on a report of a male party who had just been assaulted and an attempted robbery. Officers made contact with a victim and attempted to identify the vehicle and occupants but were unable to do so. This investigation is still ongoing.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 2:50 p.m., a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of an intoxicated party. Another subject related to the situation was contacted and arrested for violation of a protection order. The party was booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino in a report of a found pipe on the casino floor. The suspect was not identified and had left the property already. The pipe was collected for destruction.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 8:12 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino for a fight that was in progress. Upon arrival two male parties were separated. After investigation one male party was placed in custody.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 8:32 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino for a welfare check. The individual was identified and issued a summons for trespassing.

On 3/29/26, Black Hawk officers responded to the area of the Monarch Casino to locate a suicidal party. The suicidal party was not located and a report was taken.

On 3/29/26, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a lost wallet. Surveillance reviewed video footage of the reporting party, and she was observed with her wallet several times, the last time being when she entered her hotel room.

On 3/30/26, at approximately 2:26 a.m., Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle driving without headlights at the intersection of Gregory and Main Street. Upon contact, the driver was driving without a valid driver's license. The driver was issued a Gilpin County summons.

On 3/30/26, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a lost jewelry. Officers determined nothing criminal occurred and there is no further information in regard to this incident. A report was taken.

On 3/30/26, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to Ameristar Casino on a lost property call. Security had found the phone and returned it back to the reporting party.

On 3/30/26, at approximately 1:43 p.m., officers responded to Saratoga Casino on report of a theft from a vehicle that took place in the parking garage. Officers spoke with the reporting party, reviewed surveillance, and cleared the scene with a report pending further action.

On 3/30/26, at approximately 5:51 p.m., a female party called in to report her husband as a missing person. After investigation, officers were unable to locate the male party. The person was entered into the CBI as missing.

On 3/30/26, at approximately 10:49 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino for a welfare check. The individual was assessed by EMS and transported to the hospital.

On 3/31/26, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. The bill was collected and a report was taken.

On 3/31/26, Black Hawk officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino for a report of a missing person. Officers were able to locate the party involved and they were returned safely.

On 3/31/26, at approximately 11:49 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on a theft of property call. The case is still active.

On 3/31/26, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Black Hawk Police Department for a follow up on a violation of bail bond. The suspect was taken into custody.

On 3/31/26, a Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a domestic incident. A suspect was arrested on harassment (DV) charges.

On 3/31/26, Black Hawk officers observed a vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 119 with an expired license plate of 11/25. Black Hawk officers conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle at the Ameristar Casino bus turnaround. A summons was issued.

On 3/31/26, at approximately 6:03 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to Bally's Casino for an underage gamer. Officers gathered required information and this case will be referred to the Division of Gaming.
