On 1/1/19 at approximately 7:48 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of parties who ate at the Fireside Grill and left without paying.

On 1/1/19 an officer took a lost wallet report from a male party at the Ameristar Casino. The case is under further investigation.

On 1/1/19 an officer took a report of a male party who was suffering from hallucinations and wanting to report stolen money from his hotel room’s safe. Paramedics treated the male party on scene; however, he refused further treatment.

On 1/1/19 an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino for a theft of money. A report was taken.

On 1/1/19 at approximately 3:21 p.m., officers responded to the Sasquatch Casino on a report of found drugs. The drugs were seized, and a report was completed.

On 1/2/19 at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to 401 Main Street on a report of a found license plate. The plate was booked into the Black Hawk Police department as found property.

On 1/2/19 an officer was dispatched to the 500 Block of Main Street, on the report of a non-injury accident. A Colorado State accident report was completed.

On 1/1/19 at approximately 12:15 p.m., a theft was reported from the Ameristar Casino parking garage. The case is under further investigation.

On 1/3/19 officers received a phone report for a possible fraud. A report was taken, and an investigation is ongoing.

On 1/3/19 a party came to the Black Hawk Police Department to report a child custody issue. The case is under investigation.

On 1/3/19 at approximately 8:56 a.m., officers responded to 101 Gregory Street on a reported disturbance. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 01/4/19 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on reports of a theft of wallet. The suspect was tracked at another casino and issued a summons. A report was completed.

On 1/4/19 an officer responded to the Lady Luck Hotel on reports of found drugs. The items were collected and booked into evidence.

On 1/4/19 at about 2:48 p.m., The Black Hawk Police Department responded to the 200 block of Chase Street on a report of a vehicle accident. There were no injuries. A report was taken.

On 1/5/18 officers contacted a male party with a felony warrant for kidnapping at the Monarch Casino. The male party could not be booked into the jail due to medical issues and was transported by ambulance.

On 1/5/19 officers responded to the Saratoga Casino on the report of a physical disturbance between a male and a female. The male was taken into custody for harassment.

On 1/5/19 an officer responded to the Lady Luck Hotel for a report of a theft. A report was taken.

On 1/5/19 at approximately 11:56 a.m., an officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a party who stated he was missing money from his wallet. A review of surveillance was completed, and it did not show anyone but the alleged victim with his wallet.

On 1/5/19 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on reports of a Counterfeit bill. The bill was collected, and a report was generated.

On 1/6/18 an officer responded to a hit and run collision at the Ameristar Casino. A report was taken.

On 1/6/19 at approximately 4 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding a cell phone theft. Upon review of surveillance footage, the possible suspect was found. The suspect was contacted but officers could not find the phone. Surveillance had no more leads on possible suspects.

On 1/6/19 at approximately 6:16 p.m., officers responded to the Saratoga Casino, on a report of a theft. A female suspect was identified and issued a summons for theft.

On 1/6/19 at approximately 11:50 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a call of a cell phone theft. Officers were not able to identify the suspect.

On 1/7/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance. Both parties were identified and after a further investigation both parties had a miscommunication which resulted in a verbal argument. Both parties were able to calm down and drive back home together.

On 1/7/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on reports of a party who had collapsed on the floor asleep and vomiting. The party was checked and taken to a safe place. A report was generated.

On 1/7/19 an officer took a walk-in report at the PD. A party wanted to report a theft that occurred at the Isle Casino. A report was taken.

On 1/7/19 at approximately 7:33 a.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on a report of stolen money.

On 1/7/19 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Lawrence to assist Gilpin County deputies on roadsides.

On 1/8/19 at approximately 7:18 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Richman Street on the report of an intoxicated driver. A male party was later taken into custody.

On 1/8/19 an officer responded to the Isle Casino regarding a male party with a nationwide extradition. The male party had been identified and it was confirmed he had a warrant. He was placed into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 1/9/19 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino parking garage regarding two parties doing drugs in their vehicle. Both parties had been identified and one was issued a summons.

On 1/9/19 at approximately 2:01 a.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was confiscated and booked into evidence.

On 1/9/19 an officer took a phone report, on the report of fraudulent activities. The case is under further investigation.

On 1/10/19 at approximately 6:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino regarding a counterfeit bill. A male party was contacted and taken into custody for an unrelated warrant.

On 1/11/19 an officer responded to the area of Main Street and Hwy 119 on reports of a vehicle broken down. Upon his arrival it was determined to be a traffic collision and a report was taken.

On 1/11/19 at about 8:21 a.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to mile marker 6 on highway 119 for a single vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was taken.

On 1/11/19 at 5:54 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle in the 300 Block of Gregory Street. When the driver left the traffic stop, his driver license was forgotten. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On 1/12/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a lost cell phone. A report was taken.

On 1/12/19 the Black Hawk Police Department took a report of a hit and run involving damage to city property. A report was taken.

On 1/12/19 at approximately 3:45 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding an intoxicated female with an irate husband. Upon arrival, the female was transported to a hospital. The husband stated that he believed his wife had been drugged. Investigation is on-going with assistance from Ameristar surveillance.

On 1/13/19 officers responded to the Z Casino on the report of found drugs. The suspect was located at the Lodge Casino and arrested.

On 1/13/19 at approximately 7:49 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a hit and run traffic accident.

On 1/13/19 an officer responded to the Black Hawk Fire Department on reports of a malfunctioning light. There was damage on the light poles. A report was taken.

On 1/13/19 officers were dispatched to the Saratoga Casino, on the report of a counterfeit five-dollar bill and a suspect on scene. The suspect did not have any other counterfeit bills on his person; however, he was arrested on two CICJIS warrants out of Gilpin County, and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

On 1/13/19 an officer received a phone report of property damage at the Ameristar Garage. A report was taken.

On 1/14/19 an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino parking garage, level two, on the report of theft of tools. The case is under further investigation.

On 1/15/19 at approximately 10:22 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Hotel regarding a possible hostage situation which was determined to be unfounded.

On 1/16/19 at approximately 3:50 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a call of a male and female smoking something in a vehicle. Prior to the officer’s arrival, the female left the vehicle. The male was contacted, questioned and stated they were smoking marijuana.

On 1/16/19 at approximately 8:52 p.m., officers assisted a male party with eviction information at the Black Hawk Police Department. The male party was placed into custody on an outstanding warrant and booked into Gilpin County Jail.

On 01/17/19 at approximately 10:11 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino to attempt to locate a male party with warrants. Information was obtained from another agency and a male party was found and placed into custody.

On 1/17/19 officers were dispatched to the Lady Luck Casino on reports of an in-progress assault. This turned out to be a civil matter and a report was taken.

On 1/17/19 The Black Hawk Police Department removed abandon property from the 200 block of Gregory Street. Two bicycles were placed into safe keeping.

On 1/17/19 an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on a report of a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was confiscated, and a report was taken.

On 1/18/19 an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on reports of a stolen jacket. The jacket was returned, and a report was generated.

On 1/19/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of found drugs. No suspect could be located. The suspected drugs were collected for destruction.

On 1/19/19 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a stolen purse. The suspect could not be identified, and a report was taken.

On 1/19/19 at approximately 8:47 a.m., an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on a report of suspicious activity. One party was later arrested for an outstanding warrant.

On 1/19/19 at approximately 12:20 p.m., an officer responded to the Lodge Casino on reports of a
theft. A report was taken.

On 1/19/19 an officer was advised of a money theft at the Lodge Casino. A report was taken.

On 1/19/19 officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino regarding a stolen wallet. The suspect had been identified and the wallet was retrieved. The wallet was given back to the victim and the suspect was issued a summons.

On 1/20/19 at approximately 3:35 a.m., while conducting traffic enforcement at Miners Mesa and Main St., a Black Hawk officer observed a blue vehicle fail to stop at a red light. After conducting a traffic stop, an investigation for DUI driving took place. Driver was placed into custody and transported to the jail.

On 1/20/19 at approximately 3 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on reports of a counterfeit $100 bill. A report was generated.

On 1/20/19 an officer responded to the Golden Gates Casino regarding the theft of a wallet. The wallet was not found, and a suspect has not been identified.

On 1/20/19 officers responded to Crooks Palace parking lot to assist Gilpin County sheriffs on a vehicle eluding them. The driver was arrested.

On 1/21/19 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to 341 High Street regarding a civil matter.

On 1/21/19 at approximately 10:26 a.m., an officer completed a phone report of a hit and run traffic accident.

On 1/21/19 an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on reports of a possible robbery. The money was recovered, and a report was generated.

On 1/21/19 at approximately 2:48 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill.

On 1/21/19 an officer responded to the Isle Casino for a disturbance in progress. Upon investigation completion, the suspect was issued summons and a report was taken.

On 1/22/19 an officer assisted Gilpin County with a vehicle pursuit. The suspect was contacted and arrested.

On 1/22/19 an officer responded to the construction site at the Monarch Casino for found drugs. The drugs were destroyed. A report was generated.

On 1/22/19 at approximately 1:16 a.m., officers received a phone report regarding fraudulent activity.

On 1/22/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino parking garage on the report of a male urinating in public. The male party was taken into custody for violation of a protection order.

On 1/23/19 at approximately 10:40 p.m., an officer responded to 401 Main Street on call of a theft of a cell phone. After the video review, it was determined that the cell phone was lost.

On 1/24/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a possible theft. No theft was observed, a lost property report was completed for the victim.

On 1/24/19 at approximately 4:24 p.m., officers responded to an accident on Hwy 119 at mile marker 8. A female driver caused an accident and a report was completed.

On 1/24/19 an officer responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a theft. The suspect has been identified and was issued a summons. Property was found and returned to the victim.

On 01/24/19 at approximately 9:10 p.m., an officer received a phone call of a missing person. The case is under further investigation.

On 1/25/19 the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of a verbal disturbance. A report was taken.

On 1/25/19 an officer responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a theft which happened on 1/4/19. Parties have not yet been identified and the matter will be an on-going investigation.

On 1/25/19 at approximately 5:47 p.m., an officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino on a report of found drugs. No suspect was identified, and a report was completed.

On 1/25/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding a disturbance between a male and female. After further investigation, the male party was placed into custody and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

On 1/26/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a REDDI report leaving the parking garage. The vehicle was located and contacted at Hwy 119 and Black Hawk Street. The driver was cited and released for driving under the influence of alcohol.

On 1/26/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino regarding found drugs. Suspect was placed into custody and transported to Gilpin County Jail.

On 1/26/19 at approximately 9:46 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a fight in progress. Multiple parties were issued summons and escorted off the property.

On 1/27/19 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to a disturbance at Ameristar Casino. An investigation was conducted and both parties had been involved in verbal argument. Parties were released to sober person.

On 1/27/19 officers responded to Isle Casino on a report of a theft of a wallet. The wallet was not located. A report was taken.

On 1/27/19 officers responded to Ameristar Casino on a physical altercation between brothers. One brother left the scene and the other refused to pursue charges.

On 1/27/19 an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on reports of a cell phone theft. Report was taken.

On 1/27/19 at approximately 7:05 p.m., officers responded to 240 Main Street on a report of a theft of a cell phone. A report was taken regarding the incident.

On 1/27/19 an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for an unconscious party.

On 1/27/19 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a male party smoking drugs inside his vehicle. A male party was contacted, drugs were not located. He was cited for drug paraphernalia.

On 1/28/19 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a possible assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that the disturbance was verbal only, and the two parties were separated for the night.

On 1/28/19 at approximately 4:43 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Main Street regarding a REDDI Report. The driver was placed into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail for DUI.

On 1/28/19 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a theft of a jacket. A male subject stole the victim’s jacket that was hanging on the back of a chair. The male suspect was located, and the jacket was returned. The victim did not wish to pursue charges.

On 1/29/19 an officer responded to the Public Works Building on reports of damage to a plow. A report was taken.

On 1/30/19 officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of a jacket theft. Officers were unable to identify the suspect in this case.

On 1/30/19 at approximately 6:08 a.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill.

On 1/31/19 the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a disturbance. Two parties were issued summonses and released.

On 1/31/19 officers responded to the Lodge Casino regarding a warrant pickup. Suspect had been identified and transported to Gilpin County Jail.
