Dr. Charles Smith, Peak to Peak. The Peak to Peak Players would like to announce a “Beginner Theatre Technique” class for youth that will be held on Sundays starting on September 22, 2019. The classes will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the historic Williams Stables in Central City. Get ready to sharpen your theatre and acting skills with directed script work, monologues, and scene work!

The instructor for this eight week class is Jess Schmeling. Jess cackled across the Peak to Peak stage as the Wicked Witch in Peak to Peak’s summer inaugural musical production of The Wizard of Oz.

Jess holds an Associate Degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Jess has professional credits in film, theatre, and New York City and regional theatre.

Peak to Peak Players fosters and develops the artistic talents of community youth through participation and educational camps.

Currently over 28 students are in rehearsal for the musical Willy Wonka, Jr.  Wonka will be performed on November 22 and 23, 2019, at the Gilpin School.

Registration can be found at peaktopeakplayers.com. Click on Classes and Camps.
