Sara Sandstrom-Kobi, Nederland. Nederland Elementary School and the PTA hosted a Back to School Night last Thursday for families. There was a potluck dinner and the PTA provided burgers and hot dogs. Families were able to enjoy the new playgrounds and see the renovations to the school.
Families then went to their children’s classrooms. Teachers met with parents and discussed what will be happening during the school year.
It was an informal gathering to help build a stronger elementary school community.
