Axe & Snax (formerly Gilpin Saws and Slaws) has come out of the pandemic mountain strong and ready to face down what looks like an early wildfire season.
Our first event will be on Saturday, June 19, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join us to help cut, pile and haul slash from a property in the Dory Hill area. This event will not only help mitigate the wildfire potential, but the resulting logs will be processed into firewood for Gilpin families in need of fuel for winter heating.
