Dear Editor,
Does your property need wildfire mitigation?
Axe & Snax is a volunteer organization serving residents of Gilpin County who have financial or physical limitations. We can help create defensible space around your home and move slash in advance of a scheduled neighborhood clean-up. If you are unable to physically or financially manage your own mitigation and/or slash removal call 303-642-0243, send an email to axeandsnacks@gmail.com or use Facebook messenger at Gilpin Axe and Snax.
Requests are considered on a first come, first served basis. While we do not charge for our services, we appreciate donations of cash or wood that can be turned into usable firewood, assistance with labor, and/or food for volunteers.
Become a volunteer with Axe and Snax!
