The Spring Equinox celebrates the start of the zodiac. Indomitable Aries, the first sign, is known as the exaltation of the Sun, the most powerful position in the stars. Vital energy awakens all of us as we leap forward.

Day and night are equal all over this great planet as the Sun passes over the equator. Mercury, the messenger, finishes the retrograde month of March on the 28th. On April 17, the messenger enters the sign of Aries, and your new astrological year zooms forward.

Aries- Happy Birthday! You bring the delightful season of spring to all of the signs of the zodiac. On April 17, Mercury who reversed in March in Pisces, moves into your sign until May 6. This is an ideal time for you to design your active and sparkling new astrological year ahead.

Taurus- Aries, the fiery sign who proceeds you, allows you to bound into your future. The planet Uranus, who brings change and fascinating adventures in life, has just entered your sign. You are developing new, valuable connections while maintaining your dignity and your boundaries.

Gemini- Mercury, your guide, has been reversing in March in the final sign of the zodiac, Pisces, allowing you to make adjustments and corrections in all areas of your life. On March 28, the messenger moves forward, and by April you will be leaping upward with Aries into your future.

Cancer- The Vernal Equinox signals the return of light to the earth. The sign of spring is clearing the way for you, the sign of summer. Your intuition will be a guide for you as you bring your career world and home life into balance, mimicking the balanced days and nights around you.

Leo- Indomitable Aries is your idea of a zesty astrological sign. Leo and Aries are both fire signs and are both prized by the ancients as ideal placements for the Sun. Spring allows adventures to beckon to you, whether you decide to choose mountain sports or travel to foreign shores.

Virgo- The Sun has moved into the individualistic sign of Aries, and you are intrigued with investigating your own deep inner resources. You are developing plans and establishing foundations for your career, as you blend well with the industrious direction of the stars.

Libra- Active, attractive and in demand, Libra delights in the month ahead with your natural expertise in partnership. Aries, the astrological yang to your yin, is now balancing your energies. Relationships, in all of their intricacies and subtleties are in the center of your life now.

Scorpio- Hibernation is the winter choice of certain animals; others exhibit torpor, a sort of half-awake stage. The mountain scorpion intuits the start of spring and is starting to shed its torporous state. The stars support this with lively Mercury moving forward once again.

Sagittarius- Spring, romance, creativity and luck are in the cup being poured for you by the stars. The fiery energy of the spring sign, Aries, your fellow fire sign, now invigorates every heart and mind. Your ruler, fortunate Jupiter, continues to inspire you over the course of the year.

Capricorn- The guardian of winter now surrenders the crown of the wheel of the year to the song of spring, the Vernal Equinox. You are involved in intricate work projects. In the same manner that the equinox balances day and night, you are balancing the complex corners of your life.

Aquarius- As one of the higher octave outer planets in Astrology, your ruling planet, the genius Uranus, changes signs every 7 years. This unique planet has just moved from individualistic Aries into the sign of manifestation, Taurus. This allows you to create the results that you want.

Pisces- Alpha Aries greets the omega sign of Pisces. The end of March finishes the first Mercury retrograde cycle of the year, which has been in your sign, allowing you to take care of all sorts of issues and loose ends in your life. You will bound forward in April, leaping from peak to peak.
