Renewal is upon the land. The astrological year begins anew on the Spring Equinox on March 20th. The Sun enters exalted Aries. Holidays in a number of traditions celebrate this transition. Mercury, the symbol of communication, now moving rapidly, allows us to bring our plans into manifestation.

The Vernal Equinox brings equal nights and equal days to the great green globe of  our planet. The goddess of the equinox is rising up from the earth mother. The first sign of the zodiac springs forward and the others joyously join Aries.

Aries- Happy Birthday to Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. Last year your ruling planet, energetic Mars, had a six month reversal cycle, causing delays and challenges. Now he is zooming forward, and you are moving with him. You will find that you leap ahead during 2021.

Taurus- The future that you want to envision opens for you as we celebrate the Vernal Equinox. Mercury, the symbol of mental progress, is now moving forward, able to design the future. The sign before yours, Aries, is now here, indicating that you are next in the birthday circle of life.

Gemini- The twins are affected by double factors as we enter a new season. First, your ruling planet, Mercury, is back to energizing the neural pathways of the cerebrum. Second, feisty Mars is spending a month in your sign. Take your ideas and move them into action this month.

Cancer- The Moon Children find themselves in a public arena as the fires of Spring ignite your interest in career. The vital Sun and creative Venus combine in inspirational Aries. This allows you to remember that when you do what you love in your work, opportunities will follow.

Leo- The Sun is in Aries and wanderlust is ignited in your heart. You are planning journeys long and short, physically or mentally, with loved ones. Confusion surfaces in the realm of finances, but this will resolve when you apply both your mind and your intuition to the money matters.

Virgo- A certain light-heartedness filters through the breezes of Spring into the essence of Virgo. While all the details of life must still be managed, and as a Virgo you will take care of them all, there is a fresh sense of beingness arriving for you with the start of the Vernal Equinox.

Libra- The Vernal Equinox starts the zodiac anew, with your opposite sign of partnerships, Aries, leading the way. Combinations of friends, family, and fellow workers are all blending together in intricate combinations for you over the month ahead, which you will handle with expertise.

Scorpio- Aries opens Spring with the concept of individuality. This is a productive cycle for you. Choose a particular project and concentrate on it and bring it into fruition as the days become longer and lighter. You know who you are and you know what you want, now go and get it.

Sagittarius- Spring and love and light and children are all themes dancing around you. Your ruling planet, expansive Jupiter, entered inventive Aquarius during the great conjunction at the Winter Solstice. Now as the seasons turn again, you can start to see the results of this change.

Capricorn- The Spring Equinox starts the astrological procession of the seasons, and wintery Capricorn ends it. Traditions everywhere celebrate the great seasonal shifts. Design your own gateway ritual for this juncture. Home and career are of major importance to you now.

Aquarius- Ideas flourish for inventive Aquarius as we enter springtime. Not only are fresh thoughts inspiring you, but you are able to express yourself articulately. Jupiter, the fortunate planet, is now in your sign, so people and events, the tide of life, is flowing with you.

Pisces- The alpha and the omega of the zodiac join when the Sun departs from your sign, the last, and enters Aries, the first. Everything that you have gathered from the past is now able to blossom in your present as the Spring Equinox starts to awaken the great green earth.
