The Sun in Aquarius is the visionary who assists us in designing our future. This humanistic sign guides society forward. Mercury is currently reversing in the genius sign of Aquarius as well, close to Saturn, allowing us to arrive at clever solutions for personal and cultural issues by combining our past actions with future innovations.

Venus is examining our values in her retrograde journey, planning to move forward on January the 29th, with new ideas around partnerships and finances. Perhaps she will suggest firmer boundaries with others, or a new budget. The planets are giving us the tools that we need to navigate in 2022.

Aries- Aquarius and Aries are allies who are intent on arriving at a visionary plan for 2022. The Sun, Mercury and Saturn are all currently in Aquarius. Saturn is adept at coming up with problems and Mercury is reversing, expert at arriving with accurate solutions for the future.

Taurus- How do we interact with the world around us now when the rules seem to be constantly changing? The stars are offering a solution with Mercury reversing in Aquarius. While we may be losing our car keys, we have the opportunity for a meta view for the future as well.

Cancer- Innovative Aquarius is now in the center of the stars, combined with Mercury in his sign and Venus in Capricorn, both reversing. For you this translates into innovative solutions around your values in regards to financial matters, made interesting by the advent of tax season.

Leo- Aquarius is your opposite sign of partnerships. With Mercury, the symbol of the mind, reversing until February the third, you have the opportunity of examining past relationships and then deciding how you want to negotiate your dealings with others in the year ahead.

Virgo- From a practical standpoint, there is much to be gained by you during the current visit of both the Sun and your ruler, Mercury, reversing in clever Aquarius. You can, as is your wont, find streamlined solutions to the myriad of problems that we are all currently facing.

Libra- It’s complicated. Now that the Sun, who represents the ego, and Mercury the mind and Saturn the negotiator are all in clever Aquarius, they are assisting you in understanding what Venus, your ruler, wants from her current reversal phase. Is it boundaries? Is it freedom?

Scorpio- Power and love are major themes for Scorpio. With the Sun currently visiting Aquarius, you are sensing power arising from the depths of your persona. Venus, who is in charge of love, is moving backward and so is Mercury of ideas. You are generating your future from your past.

Sagittarius- As the sign who symbolizes the total of all of our cultural and intellectual knowledge, you will be intrigued by current astrology, which features not only romantic Venus reversing, but clever Mercury as well. Where will this lead us culturally? Time will tell.

Capricorn- The Sun and Mercury retrograde have moved into innovative Aquarius. Three planets and two asteroids remain in Capricorn. Mercury reverses backward to retrograde Venus in your sign. You are charting future partnerships by the approximations that you have made in the past.

Aquarius- Happy birthday, Aquarius. Mercury is reversing in his genius position in your sign until February the 3rd, next to technologically adept Saturn, also in Aquarius. Your year ahead will allow you to change not only your reality, but the entire world around us, just in time.

Pisces- Aquarius is developing innovative solutions for the zodiac, Capricorn is rewriting the book of love, and Pisces is bringing spiritual guidance to the planet. With artistic Venus and clever Mercury retrograding, you are bringing in love to steer the stars over the year ahead.
