For 14 years, Ameristar Casino has hosted an annual stair climb in honor and remembrance of all the heroes who put their lives at risk to save countless others during the attacks on September 11, 2001.

On September 11, 2023, the casino will host its 15th Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. In honor of our heroes, Ameristar Casino is inviting first responders to register for the event at no charge, using promo code: FIRSTRESPONDER.

Fundraising for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) through personal tribute pages is still available. Participants are encouraged to climb not only to remember the large sacrifice but also as a symbol to complete their heroic journey to save others.

The proceeds from the stair climb will support the NFFF which develops and maintains programs supporting fire service survivors. Ameristar Casino Resort Spa will provide lunch, and everyone is invited to gather for a post-climb reception in the 9th floor banquet room.

It’s of note to mention, that the stair climb is not a race but a gathering to honor the fallen, help those who were affected on that day, and let the world know – we will never forget.
