Have you ever sat in class just staring outside wishing you could be on the slopes of Eldora?
Whether you alpine ski, snowboard, or nordic ski, we’ve all had one of those moments. Lucky for you, a whole day dedicated to mountain sports is coming up on our school schedule.
If you are a skier or snowboarder, this day will be perfect for you to get away from the stress of school and have a fun day on the mountain.
If you don’t usually participate in any mountain sports, this will be a great opportunity for you to try something new with your friends to cheer you along. All you have to do is fill out a form to spend a day at Eldora with your friends and teachers. Fill out these forms by March 9th to participate in Ski Day. Who knows, maybe we’ll actually have snow!
This program is an experiential learning opportunity, and any student can participate. NMSHS offers discounted prices and even financial help if you ask. All you need to bring is some warm layers, lunch or money for lunch, and a good attitude!
