Dear Editor,
I would like to know why Gilpin County feels it necessary to close Table Games in Gilpin County when our rate of Covid-19 is well below the medical community advisory for percentage of population?
Gilpin’s last reported population is 5,924 and with only 43 cases of Covid-19 that gives us a rate of .0072586 and we have had ZERO deaths. Why are you recommending/making this decision that affects the livelihood of so many in Gilpin?
What proof do you have to justify this position? We are not Jeffco, so why are you treating us as though we are part of them???
