Dear Editor,
I am really enjoying reading The Mountain-Ear these days, because it is provocative. I’ve been a customer and supporter of the paper since the early 80’s, and have always enjoyed its homey-ness, if you would.
Today’s Mountain-Ear, in addition to highlighting our unique Nederland color, is digging into local issues, presenting well-researched data, and giving voice to different perspectives in a very even-handed and engaging way. Keep up the good work.
Should Mr. Vanek decide to give up on Nederland from a developer/investor perspective, I certainly hope he stays invested in The Mountain-Ear from a healthy community perspective.
