On Sunday, October 13, Arapahoe Basin kicked off the 2013/14 season, running the Black Mountain Express lift with access to the intermediate "High Noon" trail. A big crowd was there waiting for the lift to spin at 8:30 in the morning, excited to take their first turns of the season.
As is often the case, The Basin was the first ski area in America to open to the public for the winter. They will be open 7 days a week from here on out, including holidays.
