Approximately 400 ultra-trail runners from 24 states and Canada will line up for the 13th Annual Golden Gate Dirty 30 50K Trail Running Race on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Usually taking place on a Saturday in previous years, we are trying out a Friday this year due to increased park visitors.

The Dirty 30 continues to give back to the Gilpin County community by donating over $70,000 to its beneficiaries, of which $47,000 has gone to Gilpin County High School Athletics.

Dirty 30’ers have completed over 780 hours of trail work in Golden Gate Canyon State Park since 2016.

Plan to avoid these areas on Friday, June 3, 2022:

Red Barn, Nott Creek Trailhead, Ranch Ponds – 4:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Horseshoe Trailhead – 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Bootleg Bottom Trailhead – 7 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

About Dirty 30 Running. Dirty 30 inspires people to reach beyond what they thought possible. Dirty 30’s connected and supportive community helps people reach the finish line of the country’s most challenging 50K trail running races. This race attracts 50% brand new ultra-runners, despite being one of the toughest races in the country, because of the emphasis placed on education, support, and community. Dirty 30 reserves 50% spots for women, includes a non-binary category, and has a 100% finish rate goal. We have an incredible community of volunteers who enjoy coming together to celebrate and support each participant.
