Dear Editor,
I have known Gilpin County Commissioner candidate for District 1, Jeff Aiken, for 40 years. I can attest to his integrity, dedication to the needs of our community, and intelligent discernment of issues concerning business, housing, childcare, and efficient use of resources.
Jeff is a man of selflessness and sensible judgment. Having been involved in Central City Council for 9 years, on the board of the Black Hawk/Central City Sanitation district for 20 years, and home owner he knows from experience that compromise, in-depth research, creative problem solving are key to contributing to the community as a whole.
I have personally witnessed Jeff’s expansive knowledge of not only the Gilpin County government processes, but our place in this beautiful and fast growing State of Colorado. He offers openness and hard-work, always with a dose of humor.
Always willing to bring truth and facts to every issue, I know I can trust him with the responsibilities he will face as Commissioner.
