Do you ever wish someone could just tell you what your body needs to feel more flexible and experience less pain? Sasha (Berg) Benton uses her knowledge of body structure and her intuition to target her massage to your needs, with her business, Intuition Massage.
Many may know her by the surname of Berg but congratulations are in order as she celebrates her newlywed status and name change to Benton. Benton is a Coal Creek Canyon local who loves her community just as her friends in the Crescent Village Center all express. She started her business on October 1, 2019. Locals rave about her skill.
Benton says that her favorite part of what she does is “helping my clients resolve and manage both acute and chronic pain and injury.” She offers deep tissue massage, hot stone, myofascial cupping, intra-oral massage for TMJ dysfunction and headaches, rotator cuff therapy, low back/sciatic pain relief and of course, deep relaxation.
As a practitioner, Benton has always been “drawn to help others on their healing path, helping them to get pain-free and in touch with their own bodies and healing.” It’s in Benton’s family, she has a sister who is a massage therapist and others in the family that are involved in the healing arts. She became a massage therapist to help in treating a close family member who was in hospice care.
What sets her aside from others is that she is close to home and provides therapeutic massage that is also relaxing, her clients don’t have to travel (with accompanying stress) and can maintain that relaxation.
Benton loves the nature she finds in the canyon while out hiking. There is peace and privacy. Away from the frenetic energy of the towns and cities, there is a slower energy that is healing for community members and allows the community to gel.
Currently she is booked 2-3 weeks out and keeps a full schedule. Most advertising is word of mouth. She plans to continue her education to learn new skills to help her clients.
