Dear Editor and Gilpin voters,
After months of campaigning in neighborhoods and at local businesses, it’s time to say a simple and sincere thank you to everyone who made time to vote. Your voices were heard and the outcomes will be verified soon. No matter how you voted, thank you for your voice in the process to elect local, state and national representatives.
I especially extend a robust thank you to my supporters who worked countless hours on my behalf with enthusiasm, belief in election processes, and unwavering support for my integrity. Your kindness and rising above negativity kept our campaign powered.
In the end we are all neighbors who want Gilpin County to be the best little mountain community to live in. Thanks to those who threw in their hats and congratulations to those who won their elections.
Sincerely,
Commissioner Sandy Hollingsworth
