Dear Editor,
Last week I posted a letter describing how the relationship between the Rudolph Ranch and Axe & Snax evolved, and the benefits Axe & Snax derives from the use of the property. I also thanked Cory Marshall for the donation. In order to provide a balanced public perspective, I
would also like to acknowledge the extensive contribution Sandy Hollingsworth, Cory’s opponent for District Three Commissioner, has made to Axe & Snax.
Sandy is one of our most dedicated and hard working volunteers and has been with our
organization since its inception. She is often the first to sign up for new events and is very
generous with her time despite a very busy schedule. We all appreciate her years of hard work,
creativity, contagious smile and dedication to our mission of helping fellow Gilpin residents.
Axe & Snax is not political and does not support any candidate in this or any other election. We do, however, appreciate all the donations we have received from Gilpin County residents either of time, money, food, wood, equipment or property use. Gilpin County is our home, and it is an honor for all Axe & Snax contributors to give back to this community that we love.
