Nederland Middle School student Shayna Siegel Gane’s winning poster from the fall Nederland Lions peace poster contest advanced to compete at the district level this spring. At the district convention held in Denver last weekend, her poster again took first place. Siegel Gane and her family, along with members of the Nederland Lions Club, were at the convention to congratulate her as she received her cash award and a plaque recognizing her achievement. Her poster will next compete at the state level where winners will be announced in early May. Congratulations, Shayna![/caption]
