  • Age 12. So sweet and good. She rescued us.

  • Cheetos… Chester Cheetos… the Cheetomeister… Master of his domain!

  • Looking at the picture of my rescued Pekingese-ShihTzu girl named Chloe, it is hard to believe she was abandoned by the jerk who had her previously (probably in a puppy mill) by being tossed out a car window in Roswell, NM. Having just lost two wonderful Labs, I badly needed a dog. When I saw her (aged 12+) on a rescue site, my heart melted and she is now (after a nice grooming) living her best life in her furever home south of Ned. Despite the horrors she has endured, she is still sweet, bright, and loving. If only we all had a spirit like Chloe and the person who stopped traffic to give her her initial rescue on a busy highway, the world would be a better place.

  • Jenny is a resilient and loving cat. She's been in the Lammers household for over a decade, which inevitably means she's aging. Despite experiencing renal failure, having a malignant tumor removed (and thus part of her ear), and no longer being able to jump on her dad's shoulder due to arthritis, she is still perky and lively! She recently started asking for help to get into bed with her parents and she always accepts hugs. She is such a positive presence in the household, which treasures her unendingly!

  • Jazmin, Miss energy, she loves to chase tennis balls, in fact she is obsessed with them. She also loves chasing and barking at the snow from the snowblower. Jazmin is 4 and the best Mountain Dog, long walks around our neighborhood is her favorite past time. You may also see her as as the candy dog, she often spends time at Hi Heat & Sweets.

  • Newsy is a tuxie who thinks he's a ninja; he's a kung fu panda and a bat cat. He loves to look at the world upside down, but most importantly he has admirable priorities and always takes time (and effort) to smell the roses and every other flower. We adopted him from Charlie's Place.

  • Diesel Dan is a gentle giant at 85 lbs and he loves everyone, people and pets alike. He likes to play everyday and is very talkative. He loves winter and never gets cold!

  • Bubba makes everyone smile! His friendly, excited demeanor is contagious! Not only is he a foodie, but is also the best mountain hiking Bulldog this side of the Mississippi! He loves to roll in the snow and cuddle with his family in morning.

  • At Frazer meadow, Golden Gate, on a windy day.

  • Jack-a-roo is a sweet boy that loves snuggles with his people, his sister, and even his kitten siblings. He always has a smile for anyone that comes his way!

  • Fern is the best and most cuddliest mouse ever! She is the most friendly and sweet mouse to people. She comes to say hi to me every morning before school and goodnight before I go to bed.

  • Willie Grommit, Texas refugee, cruelty survivor, forgiver of all trespasses against him...At six years young, he has survived being shot, thrown out of a moving vehicle, hit by another, then left for dead. After 2 weeks of crawling around the Rio Grande Valley with a broken spine, incontinent bladder and bloody legs, he has found his way to the valley of Tungsten to live with his family, cared for by veterinarian Dr. Cory Meiers, treated for heartworm and now healing from an argument with a family member which left him recovering with a nifty scar...

Joyful, resilient, and a profile in courage. His favorite song: Barry Manilow's Daybreak.

  • Thor is the happiest mountain dog! He takes his role as guardian seriously with daily school drop offs and even served as the mascot of our youth soccer team this fall. Thor loves to do zoomies in the yard and chew on his bone. His ultimate favorite pastimes are running, fishing, and meeting all your 4-legged companions!
