The new Peak to Peak Market &Liquor store opened on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2023, next to the Post Office on Highway 119 in Black Hawk. The site was previously managed by the Gilpin County Education Foundation as Eaglesmart.

The Market is now owned by Nicholas Spencer and Sage Lofland. The two plan to get married on September 27. The Black Hawk City Council approved the liquor license in April, and the State took about three weeks longer.

The Market now has cold beer, seltzer, wine, hard liquor, shooters and ready-made margaritas. They also have a full grocery store with local donuts from Central City, chips, sodas, canned goods, and they are getting healthy snacks.

The Market has sunglasses and ice cream, grab and go sandwiches and fresh produce such as apples, bananas, tomatoes and strawberries.

Store hours are Sunday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Market is located at 7320 Black Hawk Boulevard, Suite 1A. They have a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PeaktoPeakMarket. They do not have a telephone number set up at this time, but are working on it.
