For many centuries, health practitioners have been using the power of touch to correct or balance energy. This technique of healing through touch is still used today and continues to be a part of many practices.
Meet Rosanne Reid, a private Healing Touch practitioner since 2011. Her background in nursing led me to the Healing Touch Program. As a natural and dedicated caregiver, she felt the calling to offer her gift of touch, in addition to her western medicine experience, in a professional and heart-centered fashion.
Healing Touch provides an opportunity for healing that includes aromatherapy and the use of essential oils to lend a unique experience. “My healing space is quietly located in a private room in the comfort of my clutter-free home,” shares Reid.
Sessions are 1-1.5 hours long and support health and homeostasis physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Healing Touch Practitioners are few and far between in the Peak to Peak region.
Reid confesses, “As practitioners of “Unconditional Love” we support one another. We all have our own uniqueness. I focus only on energy movement, balancing, clearing, and connection. Also incorporating additional facilitation with back treatments, essential oils, and warm packs. YUM.”
Primarily serving the Peak to Peak region, and occasionally making house calls for postsurgical or other challenged clients, she welcomes all. Luckily, Covid didn’t impact Reid’s practice, but the state of the economy, inflation, and the need for many to cut expenses has drastically affected her practice.
Healing Touch is a specialty, a gift, and a professional private service not covered by insurance. According to Reid, “This incredibly beautiful and much-needed healing modality is out-of-pocket cost and, unfortunately, it is a cost that some have needed to cut to accommodate the outrageous increase of cost of living.”
As a private Healing Touch Practitioner, her doors are open to serve new clients. Reid is a facilitator of healing via noninvasive methods, with the intention of the highest good through unconditional love. “It is as simple as that.”
