Hub Ned is a place designed for efficient co-working with tables on wheels so you can work in large groups. They also offer individual spaces for when you need to get work done alone.
They have reliable Wi-Fi and different memberships to choose from. They offer 24/7 memberships as well as day passes when you just don’t feel like driving a long distance to an office to work. In addition to those passes, they provide punch passes for people who are on vacation or driving through Nederland.
Recently, on August 9, Hub Ned had a free day where people could try out the place and also learn more about co-working. Coincidentally, August 9 was also International Co-working Day. Co-working is a place that provides a more sociable atmosphere for people who want to work but don’t want to do it in solitude at home.
To provide more of a private space Hub Ned does offer quiet rooms that you can reserve. These are great if your Wi-Fi goes out, if you get bored, or too distracted in your home. You can also reserve conference rooms when you want to hold a business meeting but do not have your own space.
Jen and Steve Karowe are the owners of Hub Ned and opened the space to the public in 2017. They wanted to create a special community in Nederland where people could work together. It’s also a place to work that’s close to Nederland residents so they do not have to commute to a place like Boulder everyday.
The Karowes follow the slogan “Work where you live” to be able to provide a coworking space in Nederland.
If you’ve ever wanted a nice calm place to work because home can get crazy sometimes, stop by Hub Ned and give it a try.
