Hawley Mercantile is a “small” shop in Central City. To be fair it’s not small at all. It’s the largest store in Central City, boasting four floors to browse through. You will definitely be able to find something you just can’t leave without.
The owners, Chris Gress and Omar Garcia, really put in the work to show their love for antiques as the store is full of them. Both these owners definitely have the abilities to run this business as Gress is an antiques dealer and Garcia is a vintage toy dealer and also has experience in silversmithing.
The couple shared, “We love antiques and collectibles and love sharing them to the world. The business features lots of vintage and antiques. Also a great selection of old coins, Southwest jewelry and some local artists.”
Although you can find something interesting in every corner of this store, there’s still room to walk through it without knocking over an expensive vintage dish. This store was able to push through the pandemic and consistent vendors keep the catalog fresh and new.
