On 5/1/24, at approximately 12:43 p.m., a deputy responded to 321 Gregory Street, City of Central City, in reference to a party with a warrant and a male party was taken into custody.
On 5/1/24, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Gilpin County Sheriff's Office received a report of a dog bite. An officer went to the residence to confirm updated rabies vaccinations. A report was taken and the victim declined to file charges.
On 5/1/24, at approximately 3:07 p.m., Gilpin County Sheriff's Office received a report of criminal mischief at the Easy Street Casino. A deputy responded and detained a male party responsible and was released on a summons.
On 5/2/24, at approximately 1:12 a.m, a Gilpin County officer issued a summons and complaint for a trespass that occurred in the 7000 block of Virginia Canyon Road. A report was completed later.
On 5/3/24, at approximately 1:28 a.m., an officer responded to milepost .05 on Highway 119 to assist Colorado State Patrol with a Standard Field Sobriety Test.
On 5/4/24, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Columbine Campground on three missing people.
On 5/4/24, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Gilpin County officers assisted the Black Hawk Police Department in apprehending a domestic violence assault suspect. Officers first began assisting the Black Hawk Police Department on Highway 119 near milepost 9.5.
On 5/6/24, a Gilpin County officer was assigned to assist with logging old hard copy case files into the new ProSuite records Management system to assist with evidence streamlining management. An officer created a follow up case for Gilpin County Case Report 89-0517. Evidence items were logged.

On 5/6/24, at approximately 6:06 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the report of a civil matter, located in the 500 block of Old Hughesville Road. A report was taken.
On 5/6/24, at approximately 7:02 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to 250 Norton Drive in reference to a motor vehicle accident and a report was taken.
On 5/7/24, at approximately 2:00 p.m., a Gilpin County officer responded to a parking issue. The deputy assisted the vehicle owner in getting the vehicle removed from the ditch.
On 5/8/24, an officer was dispatched on a REDDI Report on northbound Highway 119. The pursued vehicle almost hit the deputy head-on. The suspect was stopped and was arrested for the investigation of driving under the influence.
On 5/9/24, at approximately 12:56 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a harassment report which occurred on Lump Gulch Road. The officer was further advised the reporting party wanted to submit a phone report and to be contacted by phone. A report was taken.
On 5/9/24, at approximately 8:33 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Dragon Tiger Casino in reference to a fraud and a report was taken.
On 5/10/24, an officer completed a certified VIN inspection for a resident.
On 5/12/24, at approximately 8:52 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Powder Run Drive on a child who had fallen.
On 5/11/24, at approximately 7:50 p.m., an officer was requested to cover a trooper from the Colorado State Patrol on a traffic stop on Highway 119. A report was taken.
On 5/13/24, at approximately 8:20 a.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to the 300 block of
Lawrence Street in reference to an alleged theft. A report was completed.
On 5/13/24, at approximately 12:55 p.m, an officer was dispatched to Rudi Lane, Golden, on a report of a dog bit. A report was completed.
On 5/13/24, at approximately 7:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to an assault in progress in the 90 block of Coyote Circle. A report was taken.
On 5/13/24, at approximately 8:07 p.m., a deputy responded to approximately mile marker 4 on Highway 119 for a hit deer that was injured but alive.
On 5/14/24, at approximately 7:37 p.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to the area of Casey Street in reference to an alleged theft. A report was completed later.
On 5/14/24, at approximately 6:13 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Casey Street on the report of two concrete bollards being run over. While investigating the hit and run, a male party showed up on scene to claim responsibility for the accident and a summons was issued.
On 5/14/24, at approximately 9:04 p.m., a deputy responded to Annie's Tobacco Emporium on the report of an open door. The building was cleared and secured.
On 5/15/24, at approximately 7:40 p.m., a Gilpin County officer took a report for a cold vehicle trespass and theft that had occurred within the 100 block of Timber Drive.
On 5/15/24, at approximately 11:57 a.m., an officer was dispatched to Highway 119 on a report of a dog bite. A report was taken.
On 5/15/24, at approximately 11:43 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block Main Street in Central City for a CPR in progress. Officers arrived on scene and a female party was pronounced dead. A death investigation was completed.
On 5/15/24, at approximately 2:07 p.m., officers assisted parole officers from Colorado Department of Corrections in locating a male party who had violated parole and had a felony warrant. A male party was arrested in the 300 block of Main Street.
On 5/15/24, at approximately 4:04 p.m., patrol brought an uncooperative arrestee in on an active warrant.
On 5/15/24, at approximately 6:10 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the area of 2900 Lump Gulch Road for two dogs running at large. An investigation was done and a party was issued a summons.
On 5/15/24, an officer was dispatched to a casino where drugs were found. Upon arrival, drug paraphernalia was found but no drugs. A report was made.
On 5/16/24, at approximately 6:06 p.m., an officer took a phone report about a fraud. A report was taken.

On 5/20/24, at approximately 1:11 a.m., an officer was dispatched to an intoxicated person located at the 200 block of Chalet Drive.
On 5/20/24, at approximately 9:08 a.m., an officer was dispatched to contact a person regarding the report of a trespass. The trespass allegedly occurred on the 600 block of Old Hughesville Road. A report was taken.
On 5/20/24, at approximately 11:44 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the area near mile marker 7 on the Central City Parkway on the report of a trespass. A report was taken.
On 5/20/24, a report was taken of a break in at the outdoor concession stand at the Gilpin County School. Nothing was reported missing. There is no suspect information.
On 5/21/24, at approximately 9:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to 55 Copperdale Lane on a report for an assist. The officers were further advised the call for service was a man with a gun at his neighbor’s.
On 5/21/24, at approximately 12:13 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Highway 72 on a report of a suicidal party. A report was completed.
On 5/21/24, a theft report was taken. It was determined no theft occurred and the wallet was found by the reporting party.
On 5/21/24, at approximately 10 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop located at 100 block of Main Street in Black Hawk and found that the driver had a warrant.
On 5/22/24, at approximately 7:53 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Old Hughesville Road for a Violation of a Protection Order. An investigation was conducted and no crime was committed.
On 5/23/24, a Gilpin County officer completed a report in reference to a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the 100 block of Jankowski Drive.
On 5/23/24, at approximately 1:36 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a fraud located at 5312
Highway 119. A report was done.
On 5/24/24, a Gilpin officer, Timberline Fire Fighters, and Gilpin Medics were dispatched to the 200 block of Dory Lakes Drive, Black Hawk, on the report of an unresponsive party. Life saving attempts were made by first responders. The party was later pronounced deceased. A report was made.
On 5/24/24, at approximately 1:06 p.m., an officer was dispatched to 273 East Dory Road on a report of a fraud.
On 5/25/24, an officer stopped a vehicle for driving with no headlights. The driver was arrested.
On 5/25/24, at approximately 7:30 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a possible trespass at the 200 block of Caesar Road. A report was taken.
On 5/26/24, at approximately 7:30 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Meadowlake Drive on the report of multiple open mailboxes. A report was taken.
On 5/26/24, at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance, located near mile marker 17 on State Highway 119. After investigation, an adult male was arrested for
violation of protection order, resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer.
On 5/27/24, at approximately 4 p.m., an officer responded to a vehicle versus wildlife accident at the location of mile post 5 on Highway 119.
On 5/27/24, at approximately 1:42 p.m., a Gilpin County officer responded to the 100 block of Lodge Pole Lane in reference to an alleged cold burglary. A report was completed later.
On 5/27/24, at approximately 2:28 p.m., an officer responded to the 1500 block of Missouri Gulch Road on the report of a trespass. Two parties were issued criminal summons for trespassing.
On 5/27/24, at approximately 2:10 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a possible trespass at the 100 block of Main Street in Central City. A report was taken.
On 5/28/24, at approximately 3:02 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the Grand Z Casino on the report of vandalism. A male party was cited.
On 5/28/24, at approximately 11:46 p.m., an officer took a report of a cold assault. An investigation was conducted and it was found that nothing criminal happened.
On 5/29/24, a Gilpin officer responded to the Z Stop Gas Station to provide assistance to a Colorado State Trooper. The state trooper arrested a driver for DUI.
On 5/29/24, a deputy completed a certified VIN inspection.
On 5/30/24, at approximately 12:18 p.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to the gaming district in Central City in reference to an alleged cold assault. A report was completed later.
On 5/30/24, at approximately 3:36 p.m., an active, valid warrant was discovered for a person at the Gilpin County Courthouse. The person was arrested and processed on the warrant.
On 5/30/24, at approximately 7:44 p.m., deputies were dispatched to 145 Main Street in Rollinsville in reference to a death investigation and a report was completed.
On 5/31/24, at approximately 9:25 p.m., an officer was notified of a REDDI Report on Highway 119 at mile marker 19. The deputy was unable to catch up to the vehicle and had dispatch contact Boulder County Sheriff's Department.
