On 1/1/24, at approximately 5:38 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to 321 Gregory Street in reference to a theft. An arrest was made and a report was completed.
On 1/1/24, at approximately 7:42 p.m., officers responded to Z Stop gas station on the report of a disturbance. A subject was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 1/1/24, at approximately 9:34 a.m., Gilpin County officers received a theft report that occurred at the Grand Z Casino parking garage. A report was made.
On 1/1/24, at approximately 1:52 p.m., Gilpin County officers attempted to locate a suicidal female party. Attempts were unsuccessful and an attempt to locate was sent to surrounding agencies and a report was made.
On 1/1/24, at approximately 11 p.m., officers responded to a welfare check on Martin Drive.
On 1/2/24, at approximately 11:38 p.m., officers were dispatched to Highway 119 in reference to a violation of protection order and a report was completed.
On 1/3/24, at approximately 10:23 p.m., officers responded to the Coyote Motel for a welfare check. A report was made.
On 1/4/24, at approximately 8:55 p.m., an officer completed a Certified Vin Inspection for a resident in Gilpin County.
On 1/4/24, officers were dispatched to assist in attempting to take a party into custody when the situation became confrontational. Upon arrival, three parties were arrested and taken to jail for various warrants. A report was made.
On 1/5/24, at approximately 1:40 p.m., an officer was dispatched to contact a party in regards to a
suspicious phone call. A report was taken.
On 1/6/24, at approximately 11:23 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Grand Z Casino on the report of a drug violation. A female was arrested and later released with a criminal summons.
On 1/6/24, at approximately 5:21 p.m., an officer responded to assist personnel from the Timberline Fire Protection District (TFPD) with a wildland fire located near the intersection of Gilpin Road and Highway 119. A report was taken.
On 1/7/23, at approximately 12:45 p.m., an officer responded to the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office on the report of a suspicious package. A report was taken.
On 1/7/24, at approximately 5:17 p.m., a deputy responded to the report of a theft which had occurred at the Century Casino. A report was taken.
On 1/8/24, at approximately 2:47 p.m., officers were dispatched to Gold Mountain Apartment Complex on a suspicious person who was yelling and screaming in the hallways in Building 7. A report was made.
On 1/8/24, at approximately 10:39 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy completed a Certified Vin Inspection on a vehicle for a resident in Gilpin County. A report was completed later.
On 1/8/24, at approximately 4:58 p.m., officers responded, emergent, to the report of a male unconscious and not breathing. A report was taken.
On 1/9/24, at approximately 10:30 p.m., located at the Gilpin County Justice Center, a deputy took a party into custody on a warrant.
On 1/10/24, at approximately 10:20 a.m., a Gilpin County officer received a call for service regarding the theft of some medication. Upon further investigation the situation was determined to be unfounded.
On 1/10/24, at approximately 1:06 p.m., Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of mail theft. A deputy arrived on scene and was able to retrieve the package and returned it to the rightful owner. A report was made.
On 1/10/24, while arriving back from a transport with a new intake, officers were made aware that the new intake had two new warrants issued and required a separate booking for those specific warrants.
On 1/10/24, at approximately 3:59 p.m., Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office received a report of an abandoned motor vehicle within the 100 block of Wallens Place. A Gilpin County officer arrived and had the vehicle towed.
On 1/10/24, a deputy was dispatched to an abandoned vehicle blocking the roadway on Lake Gulch Road. The vehicle was towed. A report was made.
On 1/11/24, at approximately 9:19 p.m., officers responded to conduct a welfare check in the 300 block of Hacker Drive. A report was taken.
On 1/12/24, at approximately 4:47 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Highway 119 in reference to a Motor Vehicle Accident and a report was completed.
On 1/14/24, at approximately 10:58 p.m., officers responded to mile marker 3 on Highway 119 for a Motor Vehicle Crash with injuries.
On 1/14/24, at approximately 12:48 p.m., Gilpin County officers, Gilpin County Medics, and Central City Fire, were dispatched to mile marker 7.5 on the report of a three-car motor vehicle crash. An individual was issued a citation and a crash report was completed.
On 1/14/24, at approximately 7:07 p.m., a deputy responded to a REDDI report located on Highway 119. The deputy assisted the Colorado State Patrol in locating the vehicle and conducting an investigation for driving under the influence.
On 1/15/24, at approximately 2:02 a.m., an officer responded to the Grand Z Casino garage for a male party who was in a green pickup truck that was unresponsive.
On 1/15/24, at approximately 8:50 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with property damage. A report was completed.
On 1/16/24, at approximately 8:49 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with someone entrapped in the area of 6500 Central City Parkway. A report was completed.
On 1/17/24, at approximately 2:36 p.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to take a phone complaint from a resident of unincorporated Gilpin County in reference to a civil issue. A report was completed.
On 1/17/24, at approximately 3:31 p.m., officers were dispatched to a harassment located on Hughesville Road. A report was completed.
On 1/17/24, a party reported a theft from the Holistic Homestead. A report was made.
On 1/18/24, at approximately 4:06 p.m., an officer was dispatched to an abandoned vehicle located at Wallens Place and South Beaver Creek Road. The officer was further advised the vehicle was blocking the road. A report and tow was completed.
On 1/19/24, at approximately 1:08 p.m., an officer took a lost wallet report at the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office. The wallet may have been lost in Gilpin County, Colorado.
On 1/19/24, at approximately 10:11 a.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to investigate an alleged cold assault that occurred in Gilpin County. A report was completed later.
On 1/20/24, at approximately 1:47 a.m., an officer responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident.
On 1/20/24, at approximately 7:33 a.m., an officer responded to the 400 block of Gregory Street for the report of a deer that had been hit. The deer was euthanized with one shot from the officer’s firearm. A report was made.
On 1/20/24, at approximately 2:51 p.m., an officer responded to a rollover motor vehicle accident with injuries. A report was made.
On 1/21/24, a deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity at the Grand Z Casino. During the course of the investigation, a male party was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
On 1/21/24, at approximately 10:09 p.m., officers responded to a noise complaint located at 41 Main Street in Gilpin County.
On 1/22/24, at approximately 7:10 a.m., the Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office received the report of a vehicle trespass at the Grand Z Casino. A report was made.
On 1/22/24, at approximately 12:16 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a wildlife issue in the area of 2200 Lump Gulch Road. The officer was further advised the wildlife was a moose and appeared to be struck by a vehicle. The moose was dispatched and a report was completed.
On 1/22/24, at approximately 8:41 p.m., an inmate currently in the Gilpin County Detention Facility was found to have an active warrant.
On 1/23/24, at approximately 9:55 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy completed a Certified Vin Inspection for a resident in Gilpin County. A report was completed later.

On 1/24/24, at approximately 8:04 p.m., an officer received information about a harassment that could be handled via telephone.
On 1/24/24, at approximately 8:22 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to 321 Gregory Street City in reference to a trespass and a male party was arrested on an active warrant.
On 1/24/24, a deputy responded to the Grand Z Casino on a report of a trespass. The offender was located and issued a citation.
On 1/24/24, at approximately 10:24 p.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the intersection of Main Street and Gregory Street and a male party was arrested.
On 1/26/24, at approximately 4:18 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to South Beaver Creek Road and Wallens Place, unincorporated Gilpin County, in reference to an abandoned vehicle and a vehicle was towed.
On 1/27/24, at approximately 9:30 a.m., personal property belonging to a previous inmate was discovered in the detention facility. Attempts were made to contact the property owner and all personal effects were submitted into evidence for safekeeping.
On 1/27/24, at approximately 12:09 p.m., a Gilpin County officer, Central City fire fighters and Gilpin Medics were dispatched to the 300 block of Bates Street.
On 1/28/24, at approximately 4:45 p.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of Art’s Lane on the report of a found CS grenade. The item was seized and booked for destruction.
On 1/28/24, at approximately 1:31 p.m., a person came to the lobby of the Gilpin County Jail to turn themselves in on an active warrant.
On 1/29/24, at approximately 8:16 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a cold disturbance in the area of Main Street and Highway 119. While en route, dispatch advised that the alleged victim refused to remain on scene and that they were driving a white Toyota Rav4. A report was completed.
On 1/29/24, at approximately 3:09 p.m., a deputy responded to the report of a dog issue located in the 100 block of Plutus Drive. A report was taken.
On 1/30/24, at approximately 12:24 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to 107 Main Street in reference to a drug violation and a report was taken.

On 1/30/24, at approximately 12:37 p.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to the area of Cooper Street and Gregory Street in the City of Black Hawk in reference to a crash that occurred in Central City. A report was completed later.
On 1/30/24, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Gilpin County officers assisted Colorado State Patrol on a traffic stop. A male party was taken into custody.
