On 7/1/24, at approximately 2:05 a.m., officers responded to a burglary in-progress call in the 100 block of Spring Street. Deputies checked the building and found that no entry was made.

On 7/1/24, at approximately 1:20 p.m., an officer took a report of a possible theft from mailboxes. The theft allegedly occurred at the intersection of Highway 119 and Blue Spruce Road. No suspects were located and the case was closed.

On 7/2/24, at approximately 2:04 a.m., an officer spoke with a neighboring agency about jurisdictional boundaries for crimes that may have been committed.

On 7/2/24, at approximately 3:40 a.m., an officer took a phone report for a lost/potentially stolen wallet at the Dragon Tiger Casino.

On 7/2/24, at approximately 7:23 a.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of

Highway 119 in reference to an alleged theft. A report was completed later.

On 7/2/24, a deputy took a report of a possible mail theft. Mail was found thrown out on the road. The information was forwarded to the USPS.

On 7/2/24, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a Gilpin County officer responded to the 500 block of

Creekwood Trail in reference to a certified VIN inspection. A report was completed later.

On 7/2/24, a deputy took a phone report of fraudulent activity on a bank account. The case is active and still under investigation.

On 7/3/24, at approximately 3:50 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Miners Mesa Road and Main Street located in the city of Black Hawk. A report was taken.

On 7/3/24, at approximately 9:46 a.m., Gilpin County officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Dudes Drive in reference to a death call. A report was completed later.

On 7/3/24, a deputy took a phone report of fraud. There is no suspect information.

On 7/3/24, at approximately 7:02 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the report of a welfare check to be handled by phone, located in the 2400 block of Lump Gulch Road. A report was taken.

On 7/4/24, at approximately 6:43 p.m., an officer responded to a hit and run at the Red Dolly Casino and a report was taken.

On 7/5/24, at approximately 9:31 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino to assist the Black Hawk Police Department who were investigating a stolen vehicle. Two parties were

arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/5/24, an officer responded to the Dory Lakes subdivision for a civil standby. While on scene, it was determined that the residence had been broken into by drilling out the locks. The suspect in this case knew the victim and it was determined that no criminal charges would be filed per the victims request.

On 7/6/24, at approximately 11:27 a.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of Main Street on a traffic accident. A citation was issued and a state accident report was completed.

On 7/6/24, at approximately 4:50 p.m., an officer was dispatched to an in progress physical altercation located at mile marker 4.7 on Highway 119. A report was taken.

On 7/7/24, at approximately 10:18 a.m., officers responded to Century parking garage, level 3, on the report of a cold hit and run accident. A report was taken.

On 7/7/24, at approximately 6:30 p.m., detention deputies found out that a new warrant was issued for an inmate bonding out due to the older warrant being canceled.

On 7/7/24, at approximately 9:26 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a welfare check located at mile marker 10 on Highway 119. An arrest was made.

On 7/8/24, at approximately 5:17 p.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to the gaming district in reference to a cold hit and run. A report was completed later.

On 7/8/24, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a Gilpin County officer towed an abandoned vehicle from the 2500 block of the Central City Parkway. A report was completed later.

On 7/12/24, a Gilpin County officer was assigned to assist with logging old hard copy case files into the new ProSuite records Management system, to assist with evidence streamlining management for Gilpin County Case 97-0277.

On 7/8/24, at approximately 5:44 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 4100 block of Gap Road for an intoxicated party. A wellness check was conducted on the party and they were transported down to the hospital by medics.

On 7/8/24, at approximately 10:57 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a suicidal party located at 200 block of Karlann Drive. A report was taken.

On 7/9/24, at approximately 11:36 p.m., an officer responded to the report of found property at the Grand-Z Casino. A report was taken.

On 7/10/24, at approximately 12:57 p.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to The Gilpin County Sheriff's Office lobby in reference to a found property. A report was completed later.

On 7/10/24, an officer took a report of a party that had been scammed out of money online. There are no identifiable suspects.

On 7/10/24, an officer recognized a vehicle that belonged to a wanted party driving on South Beaver Creek Road. Once the deputy turned around, the party had parked the vehicle which was towing a trailer with another car on it and had fled the scene. A party following the vehicle stated the driver got out and ran.

On 7/11/24, at approximately 2:59 p.m., officers responded to the report of a theft which had occurred at the Grand-Z Casino. A report was taken.

On 7/11/24, at approximately 9 a.m., a Gilpin County officer responded to the Sheriff's Office Lobby in reference to a certified VIN inspection. A report was completed.

On 7/11/24, at approximately 11:17 a.m., a Gilpin County officer was dispatched to the gaming district in the unincorporated Gilpin County in reference to an MVA. A report was completed later.

On 7/11/24 a deputy took a report of a possible fraud call at the sheriff's office. The victim was scammed out of money.

On 7/11/24, at approximately 5:34 p.m., an officer responded to the report of found property at the Gilpin County Sheriff's Office. A report was taken.

On 7/13/24, at approximately 7:31 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a disturbance in the area of Hacker Road.

On 7/13/24, at approximately 7:35 p.m., an officer was dispatched to suspicious activity located in the 400 block of Star Peace Road. A report was taken.

On 7/14/24, at approximately 9:58 a.m., an officer made a traffic stop on Highway 119 at mile marker 5.8 for expired license plates. The driver was found to have one felony warrant and three misdemeanor warrants. The driver was transported to jail for their warrants. The driver was also issued

a summons for driving with a revoked license.

On 7/14/24, at approximately 1:21 p.m., officers responded to a call for harassment at 100 block of Apollo Drive. A report was completed.

On 7/15/24, at approximately 4:10 p.m., an officer was dispatched to an injured wild animal located at mile marker 14 on Highway 119. A report was taken.

On 7/15/24, a Gilpin County officer was assigned to assist with logging old hard copy case files into the new ProSuite records management system, to assist with evidence streamlining management

for Gilpin County Case 96-0652.

On 7/18/24, at approximately 5:12 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the report of a stolen vehicle at South Boulder Creek Interpretive Site located at approximately the 2400 block of Tolland Road. A report was taken.

On 7/20/24, at approximately 12:50 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to a disturbance located at the 300 block of Raptor Point Road. A report was taken.

On 7/21/24, at approximately 1:01 p.m., while completing the booking of an individual, two arrest warrants were discovered. The person experiencing incarceration was arrested for one of the warrants and a report was taken.

On 7/21/24, at approximately 12:40 p.m., an officer was requested for non emergent cover for a traffic stop located approximately at mile marker 1 on Highway 119. An arrest was made.

On 7/21/24, at approximately 5:49 a.m., officers were dispatched to 420 Bobtail Hill Circle for a report of a suicidal party. A report was taken.

On 7/21/24, at approximately 9:50 a.m., officers responded to a call for service of theft at the Gilpin County Fairgrounds. A report was completed.

On 7/22/24, at approximately 8 a.m., officers received a call for service regarding a cold assault. Dispatch advised the officer to contact the reporting party via phone. The assault occurred on 7/17/24 at 139 Nevada Street. A report was completed.

On 7/22/24, at about 11:30 p.m., officers received a call for service welfare check located at 252 Long Trail Road. A report was completed.

On 7/22/24, at approximately 1:45 p.m., a male party arrived at the Gilpin County Sheriff's Office and wanted to turn themselves in on a warrant. The warrant was confirmed and the male party was taken into custody without incident.

On 7/22/24, at approximately 5:26 p.m., an officer assisted Black Hawk Police with the apprehension of a suspect. A report was made.

On 7/22/24, at approximately 9:50 p.m., an officer was assigned a phone report for a theft at mile marker 5 on Highway 119. A report was taken.

On 7/23/24, at approximately 12:01 p.m., an officer responded to a disturbance on Main Street in Central City. Upon further investigation two broken flag poles were found and no suspect was located.

On 7/23/24, an officer took a phone report of a theft. The item was later recovered and returned to the owner.

On 7/23/24, an officer arrested a party on an outstanding arrest warrant. The party was booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 7/24/24, at approximately 1:28 p.m., officers were dispatched to Gold Mountain Village Apartments in Central City for a disturbance. An arrest was made.

On 7/26/24, at approximately 7:09 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a property with an open door located at the 800 block of Robinson Hill Road. A report was taken.

On 7/28/24, at approximately 3 a.m., an officer responded to the report of a fraud at the Grand-Z Casino.

On 7/29/24, at approximately 4:40 p.m., an officer was dispatched to 262 N Dory Lakes Drive on a possible intoxicated party.

On 7/29/24, at approximately 10 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy completed a Certified VIN Inspection for a county resident. A report was completed later.

On 7/29/24, at approximately 11 a.m., officers received a call for service regarding an abandoned vehicle located on Lump Gulch Road. A report was completed.

On 7/30/24, at approximately 10:24 a.m., a Gilpin County officer completed a Certified VIN inspection for a county resident in unincorporated Gilpin County. A report was completed later.

On 7/30/24, at approximately 8:24 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the report of a cold burglary at the 100 block of Hacker Drive. A report was taken.

On 7/31/24, at approximately 10:13 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a report of theft at Easy Street Casino at the 100 block of Main Street. A report was taken.
