On 3/1/23, at approximately 7:40 a.m., a male party was using the inmate telephone at booking and became enraged after speaking with the public defender and damaged the telephone.
On 3/1/23, at approximately 11:25 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy collected a counterfeit bill at the Century Casino located at 102 Main Street, Central City.
On 3/3/23, at approximately 11 a.m., an in-custody party was booked into the Gilpin County Jail on an outstanding warrant.
On 3/5/23, a deputy assisted Colorado State Patrol with an arrest on south Highway 119.
On 3/6/23, at approximately 9 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy self-dispatched to Warren Road, Black Hawk, unincorporated Gilpin County, in reference to a medical call. A report was completed later.
On 3/6/23, at approximately 1:40 p.m., a deputy took a report of a cold motor vehicle accident with property damage that happened on 3/1/23 on Virginia Canyon in Central City.
On 3/6/23, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy responded to a civil dispute between neighbors at 105 Conestoga Road, Black Hawk, Gilpin County.
On 3/6/23, at approximately 4 p.m., an active, valid warrant was discovered for a person in the court lobby. The person was arrested and processed on the warrant.
On 3/6/23, at approximately 8:29 p.m., a deputy responded to the report of found property at the KOA Campground which is located at 605 Lake Gulch Road, Central City. A report was taken.
On 3/8/23, the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office found evidence articles (items) that were not documented and or labeled. These items were documented and entered into evidence as found property.
On 3/9/23, a deputy was dispatched to a theft from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival at mile marker 5.7 Highway 119, unincorporated Gilpin County, the vehicle had two flat tires due to a previous incident. The owner found the driver`s window had been broken by a rock being thrown through the window. A report was taken.
On 3/10/23, a Gilpin County Sheriff's deputy took a report of a cybercrime of theft of funds.
On 3/11/23, at 1:14 a.m., a deputy observed a verbal disturbance on Main Street, Black Hawk in the 200 block. Initially the vehicle failed to yield but eventually stopped. All parties were briefly detained and one party was arrested on a warrant and received a citation for theft from Black Hawk officers. All other parties were released.
On 3/11/23, at approximately 7:47 a.m., Gilpin deputies, Central City Fire, and Gilpin Ambulance responded to a non-injury motor vehicle crash at mile marker 7 on the Central City Parkway. A report was taken.
On 3/12/23, deputies were dispatched to assist Black Hawk Police Department (BHPD) on a party who ran from them. Deputies were provided a description of a male party wearing a black hoodie, black pants and red shoes. Deputies were further advised he ran northbound on Main Street from the Lodge Casino in Black Hawk. Deputies later were able to locate the male party. The party was arrested and transported to Gilpin County Jail to be booked by BHPD.
On 3/13/23, at approximately 4:08 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Spring and Gregory Streets, Central City, the male party was arrested on an active warrant.
On 3/14/23, at approximately 1:16 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to 105 Conestoga Road, Black Hawk, unincorporated Gilpin County, in reference to an alleged harassment. A report was completed later.
On 3/14/23, at approximately 9:20 p.m., an active felony warrant was discovered for a person already in custody at the Gilpin County Jail. This individual was booked into the facility on this warrant without incident.
On 3/15/23, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a Gilpin County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility (Jail) Inmate provided information regarding the possession and use of a scheduled I/II controlled substance within the jail.
On 3/15/23, at approximately 7:58 p.m., deputies were dispatched to 321 Gregory Street, Central City, in reference to a drug violation. A report was completed.
On 3/16/23, at approximately 7:43 a.m., deputies were dispatched to 52 Rudolph Ranch Road, Black Hawk, Gilpin County, in reference to protection order violation and a report was taken.
On 3/16/23, at approximately 7:50 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy responded to a single vehicle crash on the 6000 block of the Central City Parkway. A report was completed later.
On 3/16/23, a deputy responded to a motor vehicle accident in the parking garage at the Grand Z Casino. An investigation and report were completed.
On 3/16/23, a deputy located a party in the Grand Z Casino with a valid warrant out of Arvada. The party was arrested and booked into the jail.
On 3/19/23, Gilpin County Sheriff's deputies and Black Hawk Police officers took a female and male into custody for possession of narcotics and possession of a stolen vehicle.
On 3/19/23, at approximately 11:37 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to mile marker 1.5 Highway 119, Black Hawk, on the report of a single vehicle motor vehicle crash. A person was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
On 3/19/23, at approximately 12:54 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to mile marker 17 on Highway 119, Black Hawk, to check on the welfare of an individual reported to be hitting himself. An individual was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.
On 3/19/23, at approximately 6:53 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the report of a vehicle theft in the 200 block of E. 5th High Street, Central City. A report was taken.
On 3/20/23, at approximately 9 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy took a report of attempted theft at The Easy Street Casino located at 120 Main Street, Central City.
On 3/21/23, at approximately 6:31 p.m., deputies were dispatched to 105 Conestoga Road, Black Hawk, in reference to harassment. A report was completed.
On 3/21/23, at approximately 7:20 p.m., Gilpin County deputies assisted Colorado State Patrol in arresting a male party that had eluded them.
On 3/20/23, Black Hawk Police Dispatch informed a Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office Detentions deputy of a new arrest warrant that was issued by the Black Hawk Police Department and later sent via a teletype message on NCIC for an inmate that was currently in the custody of the Gilpin County Sheriff's Office. The inmate was booked in on the new warrant without incident.
On 3/22/23, a deputy took a report of a property damage accident in Central City.
On 3/22/23, at approximately 1:50 p.m., an active, valid warrant was discovered for a person in the Gilpin Sheriff’s Office lobby. The person was arrested and processed on the warrant.
On 3/22/23, at approximately 2:10 p.m., an active, valid warrant was discovered for a person in the Gilpin Sheriff's Office lobby. The person was arrested and processed on the warrant.
On 3/22/23, at approximately 4:56 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy was involved in an MVA with minor damage at the 200 block of Mountain View Drive, Black Hawk, unincorporated Gilpin County. A report was completed later.
On 3/23/23, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy was conducting a traffic stop and struck a tree. A report was made.
On 3/27/23, at approximately 9:30 a.m., a deputy towed an abandoned road hazard vehicle at mile marker 13.5, Highway 119, Black Hawk. A report was completed.
On 3/27/23, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy took a report of criminal mischief at Coyote Circle and Dory Hill Road, Black Hawk, for damaged mail boxes.
On 3/26/23, at approximately 10 a.m., a deputy discovered inmate property within the detention facility for an inmate no longer in custody at the facility. The property was submitted into evidence for safekeeping and a letter was sent to the owner at the address on file explaining how to make a claim.
On 3/28/23, a Gilpin County deputy arrested a male party on a warrant on East 1st High Street, Central City.
On 3/27/23, at approximately 2 p.m., a detention officer was processing an inmate into the Gilpin County Detention Facility. While inventorying inmate property, an identification card not belonging to the incarcerated individual was discovered. The identification card was confiscated and returned to the owner.
On 3/28/23, at approximately 4:32 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Lawrence Street, Central City, and a male party was arrested on an active warrant.
On 3/29/23, at approximately 5 p.m., Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to 2700 Church Placer Road, Central City, in reference to a suspicious activity in progress. A report was completed.
On 3/28/23, at approximately 5:20 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of Dory Hill Road, Black Hawk, in reference to fraud. A report was taken.
On 3/29/23, at approximately 11:45 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy took a report of found drugs at 255 Braecher Park Road, Black Hawk.
On 3/29/23, at approximately 5:24 p.m., deputies responded to 142 Lawrence Street, Central City, in reference to a party with a warrant wanting to turn themselves in and a female party was taken into custody on an active warrant.
On 3/29/23, at 5:25 p.m., a deputy met with a citizen regarding a possible harassment call in the lobby of the Gilpin County Sheriff's Office. A report was taken.
On 3/29/23, at approximately 7:06 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy responded to the 100 block of Conestoga Road for the report of a harassment. A deputy arrived on scene and determined that no crime had been committed.
On 3/30/23, at approximately 7 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy arrested a female party on three warrants out of Jefferson County at 100 block of Main Street, Black Hawk.
On 3/30/23, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Gilpin County deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5800 block of Highway 119. Two male parties were taken into custody.
On 3/31/23, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a deputy responded to the 100 block of Crest View Drive, Black Hawk, on a report of a suspicious incident. A report was taken.
