Children’s Storytime: Stories! Song! Movement! Music! Play! Every Friday morning from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. we hold storytimes for ages 0 to 4 years old. From 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. we read books, sing songs, learn some ASL, and get the wiggles out! From 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. we have free play, bring out the toys and bubbles and get to know other kids, parents and caregivers. Meet in the Community Room at the Nederland Community Library located at 200 Highway 72. 

Dinovember: Find all the dinosaurs and win a dinosaur egg! You can participate in this dino-themed scavenger hunt from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Nederland Community Library located at 200 Highway 72.

Veteran’s BBQ: Celebrate Veterans at the Gilpin County Veterans BBQ. 12 - 2 p.m. at the Gilpin County Community Center located at 250 Norton Drive in Black Hawk. 

Card Collecting Club: Learn and share at the Nederland Card Collecting Club! Bring your sports (NBA, NFL, MLB, etc) and non-sports (Pokemon, Magic, Star Wars, Marvel, etc) cards to share, show, tell, trade, and learn. New to collecting? Pie Contest: Enter your best pie in this co-fundraiser pie contest for the Nederland Food Pantry and Nederland Community Library. Delicious pies and friendly competition, all for a great cause! Get Rid of Chronic Pain: Learn about advancements in current pain neuroscience and techniques for rewiring the natural pathways in the brain to deactivate pain. Veterans Day Celebration: Celebrate our local Veterans with a ceremony in their honor. There will be refreshments provided after. Starts at 9 a.m. at the Gilpin Secondary School located at 10595 Highway 119. 

Nederland Writers: Bring something you are working on to share and get feedback on or join the group to listen in and hone your skills. The Mountain Meditation Circle: A free and open group that has been meeting every Monday evening at 6 p.m. for the last four years at Gilpin County Public Library. New participants are always welcome. New members will need to provide their contact information prior to attending their first meeting. Wild Bear Story Time: We will read books, sing songs, play, and move together, all while fostering early ecological literacy. Join us for fun, friends and community! 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 20 Lakeview Drive in Nederland. 

STEAM Club: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math activities hosted for kids grades 1-4 at the Nederland Community Library. Sci Fi Book Club: Newcomers welcome! Open to readers 17 and up. This month’s book is “The Terminal Experiment” by Robert J. Sawyer. Participation can be in-person or online.
