Gilpin Elementary students raced and raised nearly $7000 in donations for participating in the first annual Color Run. Along with funds from a bake sale and grants, they raised the full amount needed for the 100 Elk Outdoor Education Retreat for 4th and 5th grade students this year. Attendees were not sure who had more fun, the students or Elementary Principal Mr. Linnehan. He hopes this can be a yearly event.
