On 6/1/23, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino hotel lobby in regard to a stolen vehicle. A report was taken.
On 6/1/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of harassment. The officer contacted a male who stated his ex-girlfriend was sending him threatening messages. Officers examined the messages where no threats were made and listened to voicemails where again no threats were made. Officers took a report for documentation at the male's request.
On 6/2/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a violation of a protection order. A suspect was identified and a report was taken.
On 6/2/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a hit and run accident. A suspect could not be positively identified. A report was taken.
On 6/2/23, an officer responded to the Monarch parking garage on the report of a party trespassing. A summons was issued for trespass.
On 6/2/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a trespassed individual on the property. The person was issued a citation.
On 6/2/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the parking lot of JKQ BBQ to assist Gilpin County deputies. The deputies located drug paraphernalia inside a vehicle at a traffic stop. Both parties inside the vehicle were released at the scene.
On 6/2/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino parking garage in regard to a hit-and-run incident. A report was taken.
On 6/3/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a male party who dropped a baggie of possible drugs. Black Hawk officers contacted the male suspect and issued him a summons for possession. The substance was later tested and was presumptive positive for cocaine.
On 6/3/23, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino in regard to lost property. A report was taken.
On 6/3/23, an officer was informed that a wallet had been found at 221 Gregory Street and needed to be picked up by the police. The officer was unable to contact the owner. The wallet was booked into evidence as safekeeping.
On 6/3/23, Black Hawk officers responded to Rollinsville, Colorado, to assist the Gilpin County Sheriff's Office. Black Hawk officers contact a female party believed to be the suspect who also was reported to have a knife and locked herself in the house. Officers placed her in custody without incident. The Gilpin County Sheriff's Office later arrived on the scene to take over the investigation. The female was later released from custody.
On 6/3/23, at approximately 6:16 p.m., officers took a phone report in regards to a cold cellphone theft that occurred at the Monarch Casino located at 488 Main Street.
On 6/3/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Bally's garage on a report of damaged property. Officers arrived and took photos of the damage. Officers spoke to a witness and the victim. Officers are still working on identifying the suspect.
On 6/3/23, officers responded to the Gilpin Casino in regard to a physical disturbance. Both parties involved in the disturbance were both issued summons and a report was taken.
On 6/4/23, Black Hawk officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. Officers collected the bill and booked it into evidence.
On 6/4/23, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino in regard to lost property. Upon further investigation, officers learned that the property was stolen. A report was taken and a summons was issued.
On 6/4/23, an officer assisted Gilpin County Sheriff, with a domestic violence incident, in Gilpin County. A report was taken.
On 6/4/23, Black Hawk Police officers were dispatched to Bally's West Casino on the report of an unwanted party. Upon arrival, it was aired that verbal threats were made against a casino employee. Upon investigating the incident, it was deemed unfounded. A male party was trespassed from Bally's properties, and a report was filed.
On 6/4/23, officers were handling a disturbance call at the Bally's West Casino when a second disturbance was reported at the bar in the Bally's North Casino. A suspect was contacted and placed into custody for harassment and resisting arrest. While being placed into the back seat of a patrol car the suspect head butted a deputy. The suspect was then jailed on felony charges of assault of a peace officer.
On 6/5/23, Black Hawk Police officers responded to 488 Main Street on a lost property call. Upon arrival and clearing of the party, the female party came back with felony warrants out of Summit County. The female party was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 6/5/23, at approximately 10:10 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a fake ID. Officers later arrested the suspect for warrants.
On 6/6/23, Black Hawk Police Department was dispatched to 240 Main Street, on the report of a possible fake ID being used for a male party to be on the gaming floor. Black Hawk officers arrived and confiscated the Colorado driver's license. Information was collected from the male party and his father, and the two were escorted off of the casino property. Information will be relayed to the Division of Gaming.
On 6/6/23, at approximately 3:33 a.m., a Black Hawk Police officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of found drugs. No suspect was located and the drugs were seized.
On 6/6/23, an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino (401 Main Street), for an animal bite. A report was taken and a summons issued.
On 6/6/23, at approximately 9:29 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino at 111 Richman Street on the report of a trespassed party being on the property. Upon arrival, officers identified the party, gave a municipal citation, and escorted the party off property.
On 6/7/23, at 12:08 p.m., an officer responded to a medical call at the Lodge Casino for a female who was unconscious and not breathing. Paramedics were also dispatched and notified that CPR was in progress. Flight for Life was called but when the helicopter arrived, the female was no longer able to be transported. The female was pronounced deceased by a physician at Saint Anthony's. The female was in town with a relative who was located at the Lodge Casino and was notified of the family member's death.
On 6/7/23, an officer responded to the Lodge Casino Hotel, for found possible narcotics. A report was taken.
On 6/7/23, at approximately 4:17 p.m., an officer took a phone report of a hit and run that occurred at the Ameristar Casino parking garage. The suspect was identified.
On 6/8/23, at about 2;03 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino (240 Main Street) for a suicidal party. An M-1 was placed on the subject, and was transported to the hospital.
On 6/8/23, at approximately 3:10 p.m., an officer responded to the JKQ parking lot to complete a report of a spoof call.
On 6/8/23, officers responded to the Dakota parking lot located at 245 Main Street on the report of a civil matter. A report was taken for documentation purposes.
On 6/9/23, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft of property. A suspect was identified.
On 6/8/23, officers responded to 240 Main Street on the report of a theft of $301. A suspect was cited, and restitution was paid.
On 6/9/23, at about 7:42 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Casino (488 Main Street) for two counterfeit $20 bills. Two suspects were contacted, and the bills were seized.
On 6/8/23, at about 2 p.m., an officer was in the area of the Monarch Casino located at 488 Main Street, Black Hawk, when they observed a 10 dollar bill on the pavement. After being unable to locate the owner, they collected the 10 dollars and placed the cash into evidence for safekeeping.
On 6/8/23, at approximately 1 p.m., officers responded to an assault at the Monarch Casino. The suspect was walking down the hallway when he approached the victim who was cleaning and punched him in the face. The victim felt pain in his face and started bleeding from his mouth. The suspect was not provoked and fled to the Horseshoe Casino. Officers contacted the suspect in the lobby and placed him in custody. The suspect was charged with assault and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 6/9/23, an officer completed a phone report of a missing adult.
On 6/9/23, officers responded to the Lodge Casino located at 240 Main Street on the report of harassment. An individual was cited.
On 6/9/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino to take a report of a female worried she was drugged at the Monarch Casino earlier in the day. The report was taken and the case is active.
On 6/10/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of damaged property. Officers contacted a male who was a suspect in damaging a slot machine. Officers released the party pending charges as the casino could not provide a value for the estimation.
On 6/10/23, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino (401 Main Street) for a female party who left a hotel room naked and was now in the hotel lobby. Officers arrived and the female had been given some clothing items, the female stated she could not remember anything more than parking her car and playing a machine at the Monarch Casino. Officers located the room she left but were unable to locate the owner of the room. The female was given a new room and told to call if she remembers anything she needs to report.
On 6/10/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of theft of money from a hotel room. A report was taken. No suspects have been identified.
On 6/10/23, at approximately 1:52 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Horseshoe Hotel room 848 on the report of a domestic disturbance.
On 6/10/23, at 5:53 p.m., officers responded to level three of Bally's parking garage to investigate a hit and run crash. A report was taken.
On 6/10/23, Black Hawk officers located a $20 bill in the street outside the Ameristar Casino. The bill was booked into the police department.
On 6/11/23, officers were dispatched to an unwanted party at the Lodge Casino. The unwanted party was identified before officers arrived on the scene. However, the unwanted party left the property but was later contacted and arrested for warrants. A report was taken.
On 6/11/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino (488 Main Street) in regard to a counterfeit bill. A suspect was identified and a report was taken.
On 6/11/23, Black Hawk Police officers and Gilpin County Sheriff's deputies (GCSO) responded to the Dragon Tiger Casino (132 Lawrence Street, Central City) for an active burglary. A possible suspect was contacted and arrested for felony warrants at another casino. The burglary is still being investigated by GCSO.
On 6/11/23, an officer located a stolen vehicle in the Monarch parking garage. The suspect was located and taken into custody.
On 6/12/13, an officer received a phone report at the Black Hawk Police Department (221 Church Street), for a lost cellular phone. A report was taken.
On 6/13/23, an officer responded to the Lady Luck parking garage (333 Main Street), for a disturbance. Involved parties were contacted and a report was taken.
On 6/14/23, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of found drugs. Officers arrived on the scene and took the substance into evidence where it was booked for destruction. No suspects were identified.
On 6/14/23, officers responded to the intersection of Highway 119 and Gregory Street in Black Hawk regarding a possible physical disturbance. A report was taken and a summons was issued.
On 6/14/23, at approximately 7:48 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Richman Street and Highway 119 in reference to a vehicle crash with injuries. The at-fault vehicle was cited.
On 6/14/23, at approximately 10:50 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of minors who ran away and refused to give Monarch staff identification. The minors were later located by officers, their parents were notified and they were picked up by their parents.
On 6/14/23, officers responded to a disturbance at the Ameristar Casino. After an investigation, a female was arrested for assault in the third degree (DV).
On 6/15/23, at approximately 12:03 a.m., the Black Hawk Police Department was dispatched to the Monarch Casino on the report of found drugs. Upon arrival, contact was made with a suspect who had felony warrants. A second male was arrested and charged with distribution and possession of controlled substances. Both parties were transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 6/15/23, an officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of found drugs on the casino floor. One of two suspects was identified.
On 6/15/23, at approximately 11:23 a.m., an officer responded to a disturbance at the Ameristar Hotel. The disturbance was a verbal argument that involved a party who was violating a restraining order. The suspect left prior to the officer's arrival and an arrest warrant was completed.
On 6/15/23, an officer responded to the Bally's West Casino bus stop on the report of an intoxicated party who was asked to exit the Ramblin bus due to being intoxicated. One male party was taken to a detox facility.
On 6/15/23, at 6:50 p.m., officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of a theft. A suspect was cited.
On 6/16/23, an officer was issued a phone report regarding a non-injury accident at the Bally's parking garage, level three. According to the reporting party, the person at fault provided false information.
On 6/16/23, at approximately 8:02 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on the report of a disturbance. An individual involved was cited.
On 6/16/23, officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino in regard to a trespassed party. A summons was issued and a report was taken.
On 6/17/23, officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino to assist in a Department of Gaming dispute. A report was taken and will be forwarded to Gaming Investigators.

On 6/17/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino in regard to found drugs. The suspects were located, a summons was issued, and a report was taken.
On 6/17/23, officers recovered a stolen vehicle inside Bally's parking garage located at 255 Main Street. A suspect was arrested.

On 6/18/23, officers took a phone report in regard to a stolen phone from the Horseshoe Casino. A report was taken.
On 6/18/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a purse theft from an employee locker room. A report was taken and no suspect could be identified.
On 6/18/23, officers responded to the Lodge Casino in regard to a patron throwing water on a machine and damaging it. A report was taken.
On 6/18/23, the Black Hawk Police Department took a missing persons report missing since May 25. A Black Hawk officer saw the party on June 13. Follow-up on welfare is required.
On 6/19/23, at approximately 10:56 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of an underage gambler. The information was collected and will be passed on to the Division of Gaming.
On 6/19/23, Black Hawk Police officer responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a stolen ladder from the back of a truck. Upon arrival, officers determined a potential suspect and filed a report for the reporting party to give his employer for the missing property.
On 6/20/23, at approximately 12:40 a.m., Black Hawk officers were at the Monarch Casino for a foot patrol. Officers were with Monarch security shift managers and one of them pointed out a male party who was permanently trespassed from the property. A summons was issued.
On 6/20/23, Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a trespassed party playing on the gaming floor. Upon arrival, officers approached the party, escorted him to an interview, and issued him a summons for trespassing. The party was then escorted off the gaming floor by security.
On 6/20/23, at approximately 3:40 a.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a trespassed party. A male party was later identified and charged with trespassing.
On 6/20/23, officers were dispatched to a male party smoking drugs in the Dakota parking lot. The male party was arrested on a warrant and an unknown substance was found in the male's pocket while conducting a search incident to arrest. The male was transported to the hospital and was released on a county summons.
On 6/20/23, at approximately 12:01 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on the report of a disturbance. A female party was taken into custody on unrelated warrants.
On 6/21/23, an officer responded to the Lady Luck Casino, for a theft incident. A report was taken.
On 6/21/23, an officer with the Black Hawk Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle displaying a fictitious Colorado temporary tag. The driver was issued a summons and the fictitious temporary tag was seized and booked into evidence.
On 6/21/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance between a male and female in a hotel room. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the incident was a verbal argument and no crime had been committed between the parties. The parties were separated and a report was taken.
On 6/21/23, at approximately 1:18 p.m., officers responded to Highway 119 and Main Street on a report of a traffic accident.
On 6/21/23, at approximately 10 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to Richman Street and Highway 119 on the report of a bus and car vehicle crash. The victim was taken to the hospital and the at-fault driver was issued a summons.
On 6/22/23, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino, at 488 Main Street, to take a report of damaged property inside of a hotel room. A suspect was still on scene and issued a municipal summons.
On 6/22/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of found drugs in a hotel room at the Monarch Casino. A suspect has been identified and a report was taken.
On 6/22/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino Hotel lobby in regard to a reported theft of a bag. A report was taken.
On 6/22/23, at approximately 11:02 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Hotel on the report of a disturbance.
On 6/23/23, an officer responded to the Gilpin County Jail to assist with a possible disturbance that occurred earlier in the day. Gilpin deputies had arrested the female suspect for suspected DUI.
On 6/23/23, officers observed a vehicle with a fictitious plate in the 6000 block of Highway 119 northbound. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was cited.
On 6/23/23, at 5:08 p.m., officers received a 911 call about a possibly intoxicated driver. The driver was located in the 100 block of Richman Street and arrested.
On 6/24/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance. A male was arrested for 3rd-degree assault (DV).
On 6/24/23, officers responded to assist the Division of Gaming. A female was identified as an involved party from a theft on 6/17/23. The information will be passed on to the Division of Gaming.

On 6/24/23, at 5:24 p.m., a theft of property was reported to the Black Hawk Police. It was believed the theft occurred between 10 -11:30 a.m. on 6/24/23 at Bally's West Casino located at 261 Main Street.
On 6/24/23, an officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of bomb threats and a possible active shooter situation.
On 6/24/23, at 9:55 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle with a reported stolen license plate which they spotted at 111 Richman Street.
On 6/24/23, officers responded to Bally's West on the report of theft of cash. A male was issued a summons for theft.
On 6/25/23, at 12:25 a.m., officers assisted the Gilpin County Sheriff's Department at the Century Casino garage located at 102 Main Street with a person actively resisting arrest.
On 6/25/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a verbal disturbance. A male was arrested for assault in the third degree (DV).
On 6/25/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino in regard to a cold shoplifting incident. A report was taken.
On 6/25/23, an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a possible domestic disturbance. There was no evidence of a domestic incident.
On 6/26/23, at approximately 1:05 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of an underage party gaming on the casino floor. Officers later retrieved all pertinent information and advised the underage party that gaming will call them as soon as possible.
On 6/26/23, at approximately 2:20 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to 111 Richman Street on the report of a drunk driver. Officers later made contact with the party, placed him in custody and later released on a summons.
On 6/26/23, an officer responded to the Monarch Casino for a stolen cell phone. A report was taken.
On 6/26/23, an officer responded to the Monarch parking garage for a vehicle damage incident. A report was taken.
On 6/26/23, officers from the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Horseshoe Casino poker room on a report of a $100 bill being passed. The involved male party was contacted and stated he was not aware it was counterfeit. All other bills were checked and were legitimate. The counterfeit bill was confiscated and booked into evidence.
On 6/26/23, at approximately 7:55 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Main Street and Highway 119 intersection on the report of a car crash with no injuries. The at-fault driver was issued a summons. The victim was unable to provide insurance at the time and was also issued a summons.
On 6/26/23, Black Hawk Police officers were dispatched to the Wildcard Casino on a report of a theft of a cell phone. A suspect was identified and apprehended. The cell phone was returned and a summons was issued.
On 6/27/23, an officer responded to the Dakota (Lodge) parking lot (245 Main Street), for suspicious parties. Upon contact, one party was found to have an active warrant and was in possession of narcotics. The party was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 6/27/23, officers from the Black Hawk Police Department were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a report of an employee that stole a cell phone from the lost and found department. The involved party was issued a summons and later returned the cell phone to officers. The cell phone was returned to the lost and found department.
On 6/27/23, at approximately 11:05 p.m., a Black Hawk Police officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of found drugs. The officer was unable to locate or identify a suspect.
On 6/28/23, Black Hawk officers observed a subject exhibiting mental health crisis symptoms while on routine patrol in the Monarch Casino. The subject was contacted and subsequently transported on an M1 hold.
On 6/28/23, officers responded to a non-injury accident on the 400 block of Main Street. A driver was issued a summons for careless driving.
On 6/28/23, at about 3 p.m., an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of a stolen vehicle. The officer spoke to the owner who said his vehicle was not stolen and he took it back from his mechanic.
On 6/28/23, at 8 p.m., officers received a REDDI report from the Ameristar Casino. The vehicle was located carelessly driving on Highway 119 moving southbound at Gregory Street. The driver was arrested.
On 6/29/23, at approximately 1 a.m., Black Hawk Police Department was dispatched to the Lady Luck Casino on the report of an intoxicated party refusing to leave. Upon asking the female party to leave, she attempted to fall down the escalators, causing injury. Medics were called to the scene and she was escorted to the hospital. On 6/29/23, at about 2:49 a.m., a driver in a silver Ford F-150 honked a train horn at an elderly male and scared him. At this time it is unclear who was driving the truck.
On 6/29/23, at approximately 5:46 p.m., officers responded to Monarch parking garage level 4 located at 488 Main Street for a hit-and-run crash. The suspect was identified.
On 6/30/23, officers received a phone report about a theft that occurred at the Lodge Casino. A report was taken.
On 6/30/23, officers responded to the Lodge Casino in regard to found property. A report was taken.
On 6/30/23, officers responded to a REDDI report of an intoxicated driver crashing into a car at the Dakota Parking Lot located at 245 Main Street. The driver was arrested.
