On 4/1/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino in regard to a theft incident. A possible suspect was identified and a report was taken. 

On 4/1/23, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Lodge Casino on a report of a stolen phone. Officers contacted the victim who stated it was stolen when he left it inside a bathroom. Due to the location, a suspect can not be identified. 

On 4/1/23, at approximately 6:23 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a stolen wallet. The suspect was later found and arrested. 

On 4/1/23, Black Hawk officers were advised of a possible suicidal party located in the city. Located a room registered for the 3/4 party at the Monarch Casino. Officers contacted a female who took a large amount of prescription medication. The female was transported to the hospital by medics. 

On 4/2/23, an officer responded to the Horseshoe parking garage, for a vehicle break-in incident. A report was taken. 

On 4/2/23, at approximately 2:24 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. A male suspect was contacted and the counterfeit bill was recovered. 

On 4/2/23, at approximately 7:07 p.m., officers responded to Miners Road and Main Street on a call of a male who fell crossing the street. Gilpin County Medics arrived and transported the male to the hospital for minor injuries. 

On 4/3/23, at approximately 12:50 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of a theft from a vehicle. Officers spoke to the owner of the victim and gathered information from them. Officers then went to surveillance and found out that where the victims car was parked has no surveillance cameras. There is no suspect information. 

On 4/3/23, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Black Hawk Police officers were dispatched to Ameristar Casino on the report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance on the gaming floor. Upon arrival, Black Hawk officers escorted the male party to his room where the male refused to stay. Upon leaving his room, the male became aggressive to a Gilpin County deputy and was tasered and put into custody. Gilpin County medics refused to transport him, leaving Black Hawk officers to cite and release the male to a sober party. 

On 4/3/23, at approximately 5:53 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a trespassed party on the property. Officers arrived on scene and located the male party and issued him a summons for trespass. The male party was escorted off property after the casino paid the male party his jackpot he won. 

On 4/3/23, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Red Dolly Casino on a report of an assault. A male suspect was identified and an arrest warrant was submitted. 

On 4/3/23, officers responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. A report was taken, and the counterfeit bill was seized. 

On 4/5/23, at approximately 6:25 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of damaged property. A suspect was later identified and charged for the damaged property. 

On 4/5/23, at approximately 7:10 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino parking garage, on a report of a stolen license plate. The suspect cannot be identified. 

On 4/5/23, at approximately 10 p.m., the Black Hawk Police Department was dispatched to the Monarch Casino on the report of a male party making threatening remarks via email to staff at the hotel. Black Hawk officers responded and collected evidence and identification information on the male. A police report was filed. 

On 4/6/23, at approximately 3:15 a.m., Black Hawk Police Department was dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of damaged property caused by a male guest who was no longer on the scene. Officers responded, collected evidence, obtained identification information for the suspect, and took a report of the damages. 

On 4/6/23, at approximately 5:04 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on a report of found drugs. The suspect was tracked via surveillance and was issued a summons. 

On 4/6/23, at approximately 9:32 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino small lot across from the casino on a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was stolen and later towed. A suspect was located, and the case remains open. 

On 4/7/23, a guest of the Ameristar Casino Hotel reported a suspicious incident that he believed occurred in his hotel room. Upon checkout, when removing his items from the security safe, the safe displayed an odd code "0000" which Ameristar Casino personnel had never seen. No articles were missing from the safe, however, the guest just wanted it on record just in case his personal information was compromised. 

On 4/8/23, Black Hawk officers were on routine foot patrol at the Horseshoe Casino when they were informed of a situation of an employee attempting to leave the casino with $125,000 dollars. Upon further investigation, an unknown caller possibly advised the employee to leave with the money. The money never left the property and has been secured. The case was reported to the Division of Gaming for further investigation.

On 4/9/23, Black Hawk officers were conducting an area check of the Ameristar Garage when officers located a stolen vehicle. Offices towed the vehicle and contacted the owner. A suspect has been identified in the case. 

On 4/9/23, officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino in regards to a theft incident. The victim reported to officers that her backpack was stolen.

On 4/9/23, at approximately 4 p.m.,, Black Hawk officers contacted a reporting party who claimed that his vehicle was damaged while he was parked at the Bally's parking garage. A Black Hawk officer took a report but the accident was unfounded. 

On 4/9/23, at approximately 5:13 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino restaurant 24/7, on a call of a dash and dine. Officers were able to identify the suspects, and they will be contacted. 

On 4/9/23, Black Hawk officers responded to a trespass at the Monarch Casino. The suspect had fled in a vehicle but was later stopped by CSP during a traffic stop a short time later, and was summoned and released from the scene. 

On 4/9/23, Black Hawk police was dispatched to a report of a stolen wallet on the gaming floor of the Monarch Casino. A suspect was observed taking the wallet but was not identified. There are no further leads. The investigation is inactive. 

On 4/10/23, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Black Hawk officers took a phone report on a stolen credit card. Upon further investigations, officers discovered that the credit was not stolen in the City of Black Hawk and recommended the victim to get in contact with Englewood Police Department to further assist. 

On 4/10/23, officers responded to Clement Park in Lakewood, on the report of an officer involved shooting. As members of the critical incident response team (CIRT), assistance was provided at the scene and with the interviewing of witnesses. 

On 4/10/23, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of stolen property. Officers later located the suspect and issued him a municipal summons. 

On 4/12/23, at 12:26 a.m., a Black Hawk Police officer was dispatched to the Saratoga parking garage on the report of a hit-and-run. The suspect vehicle was identified as a gray 2014 VW Passport with a Texas plate. The responding officer took photos of the damaged vehicle and filed a report. 

On 4/12/23, at approximately 12:44 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Gilpin Casino on a report of a missing adult. The missing person's girlfriend called in and said that the missing male party works at the Gilpin Casino and hasn't been home. Officers went to the Gilpin Casino and confirmed the male party worked there and was on the schedule. Officers attempted to contact via phone, but did not get a response. A voice mail was left. 

On 4/12/23, a Black Hawk officer took a report of damage to a vehicle in the Lady Luck parking garage. Suspect information was not fully available. 

On 4/12/23, at 10:30 p.m., officers recovered a stolen license plate that was on a vehicle parked in the Monarch parking garage, located at 488 Main Street in Black Hawk.  

On 4/13/23, an officer responded to Reservoir Road on the report of an unreported accident that occurred at an unknown time and date. 

On 4/13/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a counterfeit $50 bill. The bill was seized and the suspect was identified. 

On 4/13/23, at 6:39 p.m., officers responded to 111 Richman Street on the report of a found unknown substance. The substance was high blood pressure medication and was booked into evidence for destruction 

On 4/13/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Gilpin Casino on a report of a theft. Officers contacted the victim and are working to identify the suspect. 

On 4/14/23, an officer was conducting a garage area check when he spotted suspicious activity in a vehicle. A female party was arrested on drug felony charges. 

On 4/14/23, at 5:27 p.m., officers responded to Ameristar Casino on the report of a guest that had spat at casino staff. The guest was located and charged. 

On 4/15/23, an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a disturbance. A suspect was issued a summons for harassment. 

On 4/15/23, at 5:30 p.m., officers responded to Ameristar Casino on the report of a casino patron who had elbowed a guest. The guest was cited. 

On 4/15/23, officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino in regard to an ID check. The suspect presented a fake ID to Monarch staff. The ID was confiscated and the suspect was released at the scene. A report was taken. 

On 4/15/23, at 9:58 p.m., workers of a casino wanted to report an ongoing harassment that occurred at the Canyon Casino bus stop located at 181 Main Street. The investigation is ongoing. 

On 4/15/23, at 10:34 p.m., officers received a 911 call of a physical disturbance at the Dakota Lot located at 245 Main Street. A suspect was located and arrested. 

On 4/16/23, an officer was dispatched to the Monarch Casino for a lost property issue. A report was taken. 

On 4/16/23, at approximately 5:05 p.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of luggage theft. Officers have some suspect information available. 

On 4/17/23, at approximately 2:17 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Dakota Parking Lot on the report of a welfare check. Officers later placed a male party into protective custody and took him to a detoxification facility. 

On 4/17/23, at approximately 9:09 p.m., officers responded to the Bally's Casino parking garage, on a theft from a vehicle. The suspect has been identified and will be contacted. 

On 4/17/23, at approximately 8:32 p.m., Black Hawk officers received information from a Denver Police officer of a possible Domestic Violence occurring at the Monarch Casino on Friday 4/14/23. Black Hawk officer spoke to the Denver Officer and gathered information. Case was investigated and an arrest warrant was sought for the male subject involved in the incident at the Monarch Casino. On 4/18/23 at approximately 4:17 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a report of a missing wallet. Officers spoke to the owner of the wallet and gathered information about it. Officers then went to surveillance and were informed that surveillance never saw where or if the owner misplaced the wallet or if it was stolen. 

On 4/18/23, officers from the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the Horseshoe Hotel on a report of a welfare check. The involved male party was transported to the Lutheran Hospital on a Mental Health hold. 

On 4/18/23, at approximately 5:06 p.m., Black Hawk police officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a single vehicle accident. The female driver was later transported to the hospital with minor injuries. 

On 4/18/23, at approximately 9:44 p.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of an assault. One of the male parties involved was issued a municipal summons for harassment and released. 

On 4/19/23, at 7:31 p.m., officers responded to the report of a trespassed individual who had made threats towards the casino back on the Bally's North property located at 300 Main Street. The individual was arrested. 

On 4/19/23, an officer took a phone report regarding a vehicle break-in. No suspects have been identified. 

On 4/20/23, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a report of a found white substance on the gaming floor. Officers collected the substance that was tested and was presumptive positive for cocaine. A suspect has been identified but had left before officers arrived. 

On 4/20/23, officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a possible overdose. A male was transported to the hospital and a report was taken. 

On 4/20/23, an officer was dispatched to the Horseshoe Casino to take a report on a theft from a motor vehicle that had previously occurred. No suspect was able to be identified.

On 4/20/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to a report of an intoxicated male party at the Monarch Casino. The party was contacted and released to a responsible party. The intoxicated party was later contacted several more times after he left the presence of the responsible party. The intoxicated male was taken into custody after trespassing on Monarch Casino property. He was then transported to a detox facility. 

On 4/21/23, Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a stolen credit card. Officers contacted the victim who reported the card being used at the Ameristar. Officers have not yet identified the suspect in the case. 

On 4/21/23, an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of lost property.

On 4/21/23, an officer received a phone report of fraud. The reporting party stated that their credit card was switched after meeting a lady in the casino, and four fraudulent ATM withdrawals were made without their permission. The full name of the female suspect is unknown at this time. The case remains active. 

On 4/21/23, the Black Hawk Police Department was notified that the subject of a missing person report who was believed to be in the area. The Black Hawk Police Department could not locate the party before they left the area. 

On 4/22/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino to cover the Division of Gaming. Gaming advised they were out with a verbally aggressive party and asked for cover. Officers arrived and stood by as Gaming issued a summons. 

On 4/22/23, officers responded to the intersection of Richman Street and Highway 119 on the report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian had no injuries and the driver was issued a summons. 

On 4/22/23, officers responded to Richman Street on a REDDI Report. A male party crashed into a guardrail and was arrested for a DUI. The male was released on a summons. 

On 4/22/23, the Black Hawk Police Department responded to the 100 block of Horn Street to take a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no injuries. 

On 4/22/23, officers responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a male party refusing to leave. The party was issued a municipal summons for trespassing. 

On 4/22/23, at 8:19 p.m., an officer received a report of a menacing that occurred at the Bally's North Casino. A suspect was arrested. 

On 4/22/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino on a report of a party with a fake ID. Officers arrived and confiscated the two identification and released the party. 

On 4/22/23, Black Hawk officers were on a routine walk at the Monarch Casino when they observed a known trespassed male on the property. Officers contacted the male party and issued a summons. 

On 4/22/23, officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a trespassed party. A male party was issued a municipal summons for trespassing. 

On 4/23/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a lost phone. Officers contacted the victim who stated it was left inside a restroom. The phone has not been recovered. 

On 4/23/23, a patron was contacted at the Sasquatch Casino. Patron was found to be on a court-ordered exclusion, the party was issued a summons and released from the scene. 

On 4/23/23, at approximately 2:58 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the valet parking of the Lodge Casino on the report of harassment. Officers spoke with the victim, and a suspect was not identified. 

On 4/23/23, at approximately 6:27 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of a fake ID. Officers later retrieved the fake ID and were unable to locate the suspect. 

On 4/24/23, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a Black Hawk Police officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino parking garage for a report of lost property. Upon searching for a male party's truck, it was determined to be stolen and a police report was filled out. No suspects have been identified at this time, and the investigation is active. 

On 4/24/23, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of found drugs. Officers were unable to identify or locate a suspect. 

On 4/24/23, at approximately 7:04 p.m., officers responded to the Lady Luck Casino, on a trespass. The party was contacted and released. The party was told he could not come back on the property again. 

On 4/24/23, at approximately 7:40 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of stolen property. Officers later identified a suspect and an arrest warrant was submitted. 

On 4/24/23, at approximately 11 p.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on a report of an Assault. Officers spoke to the male victim and said that a male party flicked a bottle cap at him. Officers went to the surveillance and observed the incident. Officers saw the bottle cap get flicked but there was no Assault. 

On 4/25/23, at approximately 12:54 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers responded to the Ameristar Casino for a welfare check regarding a female who was wandering around and confused about her whereabouts. Upon arrival, Black Hawk officers determined that the female should be placed on an M-1 and was transported to Saint Anthony’s for a medical evaluation. 

On 4/25/23, an officer responded to the 200 block of Chase Street, for a suspicious person. Upon arrival, the party was located and a report was taken. 

On 4/25/23, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Black Hawk Police officers were advised of an aggressive driver heading northbound on Highway 119. Officers responded by going southbound on Highway 119 and later located the driver. Officers have information on the driver and reporting party. 

On 4/26/23, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Black Hawk officers responded to the Horseshoe parking garage for a report of an intoxicated party becoming aggressive with casino staff. Upon arrival, the male party became more aggressive and was taken to Gilpin County Jail for disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer, and violating a protection order. 

On 4/26/23, at approximately 5:55 p.m., officers responded to Monarch Hotel located at 488 Main Street on the report of found paraphernalia, the items were booked for destruction. On 4/26/23 Black Hawk officers responded to the 100 block of Main Street to assist the Division of Gaming locate a male suspect with felony warrants. Gaming contacted the male inside Saratoga Casino (101 Main Street) where he ran on foot. Officers from Black Hawk, Gilpin Deputies, and Gaming Investigators searched the area The male was located behind the Gilpin Casino. The male was taken to Gilpin County Jail. 

On 4/27/23, at approximately 3:25 a.m., Black Hawk officers were dispatched to the Monarch Casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. Officers responded and seized the bill. 

On 4/27/23, an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino on the report of a vehicle break-in. No suspect was identified in the theft by casino surveillance. 

On 4/27/23, at 5:19 p.m., officers recovered a reported stolen vehicle in the KMM garage located at 255 Main Street. Due to the circumstances, the suspect was released pending charges. 

On 4/29/23, at 9:05 p.m., officers responded to a non-injury private property crash on level three of the Bally's parking garage. A report was taken. 

On 4/28/23, officers located a vehicle with a felony warrant at the Bally's parking garage located at 255 Main Street, the vehicle was later located by Colorado State Patrol, and the occupant was arrested. 

On 4/28/23, officers responded to the 500 block of Main Street on a REDDI Report. A male party was arrested for driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane, no driver's license or insurance, and an open container. He was released on a Gilpin County Summons. 

On 4/29/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a report of a dine and dash. The female suspect was contacted and issued a summons. 

On 4/29/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Monarch Casino on a motorist assist. Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle who turned in an ID he found inside his newly purchased vehicle. Officer booked the ID in for safe keeping. 

On 4/29/23, at approximately 9:40 a.m., an officer was on an area check of the Lady Luck parking garage and checked a vehicle that was reported to have no license plates. The vehicle was stolen and was later impounded. 

On 4/29/23, at 5:21 p.m., an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a theft. A suspect was located, cited, and the items were returned to the victim. 

On 4/29/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of a male party threatening another male in the poker room. A report was taken, and the investigation is ongoing. The casino player's card identified the suspect. 

On 4/29/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the intersection of Highway 119 and Richman Street to assist Colorado State Patrol (CSP) on a traffic stop. A male passenger had a warrant out of Black Hawk Municipal Court and was taken into custody by CSP. The male was booked into Gilpin County Jail. 

On 4/30/23, Black Hawk officers responded to the Ameristar Casino for a male party urinating in the garage. Officers contacted the male and issued him a summons. 

On 4/30/23, officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of two people who didn't pay for their meal. A male and female were contacted and paid for the meal, and the casino CSM decided not to press charges. A report was taken. 

On 4/30/23, a Black Hawk officer took a phone report of a theft that occurred at the Gilpin Casino. There is no suspect information. 

On 4/30/23, an officer responded to the Horseshoe Casino parking garage, for a vehicle break-in. A report was taken. 

On 4/30/23, the Black Hawk Police Department took a phone report of a week old stolen vehicle from the Ameristar parking garage. Suspects have been identified. The investigation is ongoing. The vehicle was recovered on 5/10/23. Due to inconsistencies in the statements, it is unclear if the potential suspects were given permission to borrow the vehicle. No charges were filed. 

On 4/30/23, at approximately 8:23 p.m., officers responded to the Bally's West Casino on the report of a counterfeit bill. A male suspect was contacted and a counterfeit bill was recovered and has been booked into evidence.
